This auction is for an interesting rosary featuring orangey-red colored glass beads with four round silver colored metal double-sided medals of Pope John Paul II and one of that has the Immaculate Conception on back. The crucifix is shaped almost like a tree or log. Not perfectly straight from side to side, and measures not quite 1 3/4" long. The beads each measure about 1/4" and are faceted and sort of barrel-shaped. The round medals each measure about 3/4" If you were to stretch the rosary out, it would measure about 21" long from end to end but not including the cross. It came in a vinyl zippered pouch marked Pope John Paul II May 18, 1920-April 2, 2005 and along with it came a bracelet with silver colored metal rose-shaped beads, a small crucifix, and small round medal that hangs near the clasp. Bracelet would measure about 7" long, cross is about 3/4"+, marked Italy. I know nothing about the vintage, history, or origin of this piece. You're getting it just as I did.
