10 x wooden stair carpet rods with carved finials at each end. Not sure what type of hardwood they are made of. Possibly Mahogany because of their age(1920/ 30’s) and colour of the wood. Vintage stair rods set carpet runner & brackets and urn finials SOLID brass
Here is a beautiful full set of 13 rods. Brackets and finials pulled from an upstate NY farmhouse built in 1837. The rods are not that old, but at least 100 years. We purchased the lot with the house on it, but the house is not livable/ salvageable and needs to be torn down; we are taking what we can from it before it's demolished. These are SOLID brass. Not hollow or plated. Each rod is 30" long, and each finial is 1" The laquer is in fine shape.And would add character to any flight of stairs.
