The map is segmented and printed on heavy canvas(the most expensive version of this map) It us undated. But it can be placed fairly accurately to around 1911, as the Bartholomew address is Park Road, Edinburgh(address changed to Duncan Street in 1911) and the map invites updates from the Cyclists Touring Club members(a practice started in 1911) This map is sheet 22 and covers the area from Llanilar in the north to Carmarthen in the south. The map measures 30" x 21.5" approx 76 x 55cm. and is in very good. Clean condition. I am in the process of listing several maps from this series. Meaning that they could be removed as a single intact sheet. The maps have a single fold in the center. The maps are high quality lithographs with tasteful and appealing colors. The maps are printed on one side only. Condition These maps are very good condition. The maps themselves are clean and bright. There are a few marks in the margins of a few of the maps. This will be evident in the scanned ... moreimages. Which are high quality and unedited. The maps are untrimmed and are suitable for framing. Remarks The quality of these maps surpasses that of most. If not all, its American-produced contemporaries. These maps are much nicer than any of the Rand McNally or Cram's Atlas editions I've seen. Andrees Allgemeiner Handatlas was a major cartographic work published in several German and foreign editions 1881-1937.
