This teapot is in a dark green color Chinese pottery. Sorry for the different shades of green. My camera picked up the different lighting. It is in a dark green color. A Dragon on one side of the side of the teapot and what looks like to me. A Koi fish, on the opposite side. The lid has a curled up Dragon and the Dragon's head as the lid handle. The eyes are painted with a black glaze. There is a loose clay tongue in his mouth. The bottom of the Teapot has an impressed Dragon seal backstamp. The lid. Also, has a backstamp. The Teapot measures 3 3/4" tall with the lid on and 2 1/2" tall without the lid on. It is 4 1/4" in diameter. Total length. From tip of spout to end of handle is 6 1/2" long. The Teapot has some surface scratches on the bottom base. But no cracks or chips. The lid, on the inside lip, there is a flake chip and a small knick. The outside dragon has no chips or cracks.
