They are in good shape with the usual cracks. Dings or scratches. Some are dirtier than others and almost all have cracks where the cross braces are welded(see pictures) Most of the stainless feet are wore through or gone. The metal brace is stamped 9-55 which I am assuming is the date of manufacture but I do not know for sure. I figured shipping with UPS but am open to other options as well as local pickup. Absolutely exquisite neoclassical antique or vintage chair. Green gold velvet. Solid iron and brass plated frame with bronze accents. Measures approximately 21" wide. 25" deep, 34" tall. Exceptional condition with a few very small black spots on the seat which are a dried substance versus stains. I was able to remove one of the spots with no residue nor damage to the fabric. They are comfortable with a wide curved seat and a gently curved horizontally slatted back. The arms are barrel shaped and are vertically slatted. They have not been refinished-this is the original stain and in the original condition I had purchased them. There is a lovely patina in areas where the stain has worn off and there are some chips and scratches which add to their vintage appeal! One of the chairs has a crack running the length of the seat-this is documented in pictures. They need a little work as they shimmy a bit when rocked. Vintage wood, Camel saddle, leather and decorative stud nails. foot stool, seat
I think this saddle is from Egypt but I hesitate saying for sure. It came from a household of people from Greece and they were world travelers. The downstairs was filled with Oriental rugs. One on top of the other to form a soft luxurious floor covering. There was a really large low brass topped table used for a coffee table. You get the picture. when I brought the saddle home my nephews got very excited and wondered if I was going to buy a camel next. They thought they were ready. The wood has a natural finish, the leather is in pretty good shape. No holes but a few scuffs on the surface. The cross piece comes apart as shown to make it easier to pack and the pillow is separate. We don't know the age or history of the chairs beyond this as we came to own them via the purchase of property where they were left behind. Vintage Child's Children's Kid's Wooden Barkcloth Upholstered Rocking Chair
You are bidding on a vintage child's upholstered rocker. This cute little rocker has bentwood oak? front supports with curved arms and a vintage barkcloth style upholstery. It is good vintage condition as shown in our photos with tight joints. The rockers show some wear. And there have been some minor repairs to them. The upholstery and padding is intact and in good vintage condition. This rocker measures 22" tall at the back, 14" wide, and 13" deep at the seat, 8" from the floor to seat, and 17" wide from arm to arm. Shipping fees are determined by winning bidder's zip. The seat is not original to chair and it came with out it and the new seat was purchased by her. The chair has been dated different era's from the 1800's to 1920's. Really not sure of the age. It measures 41 1/2 inches tall, 22 inches wide, 27 inches to seat. Seat measures 17 inches wide in front, 12 3/4 inches wide in back. Footrest measures 16 1/4 inches long, 6 inches wide.
