18TH CENTURY HUNTING CABINET HEAVILY HAND CARVED Purchased form an estate sale. Over 6 feet tall cabinet from ca. 1765 France, this hunting cabinet is a real museum piece. The heavy carving is amazing with the details and I hoping the pictures can show it. Over the years has been modified by previous owners adding the cloth on the shelves and a set of interior lights. All can be easily removed if thw buyer so desires. I didn't do any restoration on this piece and if you like this piece, it would ned some work particularly the right back leg and some TLC. It is sturdy, stable, can be placed in display the way it is now but I felt that I should mention some details about this piece.
