TRANSLATE Arabic Chinese French German Greek Indonesian Italian Hindi Japanese Korean Swedish Portuguese Russian Spanish Exceptionally Well Preserved. ... moreLarge, Genuine 19th Century Qing Dynasty Chinese Blue and White(Ming” Style) Porcelain Vase/Jar. Perfect for a Floral or Foliage Display! CLASSIFICATION: Blue and White Porcelain Vase/Jar. ATTRIBUTION: Ancient China. Qing Dynasty, 19th Century. SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: Height: 218 millimeters(8 3/4 inches) Diameter: 215 millimeters(8 2/3 inches) at belly; 86 millimeters(3 1/2 inches) at top lip; 165 millimeters(5 2/3 inches) at base. CONDITION: Exceptionally good. Almost perfectly preserved. A little wear consistent with any household item which is over one hundred(perhaps close to two hundred) years in age. The normal blemishes common to hand produced porcelain(warts and dimples, zits and pits) Not flawless, but certainly in an excellent state of preservation– no chips of any significance(even minor) no cracks or crazing. No repairs, entirely original. DETAIL: A splendidly preserved very large traditional blue and white porcelain vase so wonderfully characteristic of late Ming/early Qing Dynasty artwork. The glaze is entirely intact. Vibrant cobalt blue, and the condition of the vase is almost perfect. There are of course a few minor scuffs, marks, dings, etc. all virtually undetectable. This is as good as one can reasonably expect of a vase somewhere between one hundred and two hundred years old. While the vase might not be absolutely perfect, it is about as close to perfect as you will ordinarily find of an authentic porcelain jar like this, and there are no repairs. Of course realistically one would expect some blemishes over a century after it was originally produced, so there are no surprises here except that there are so few blemishes. There are as well a few production blemishes(warts. Dimples, zits and pits) Again really not noticeable, and quite typical of hand-crafted porcelain of the late Ming/early Qing Dynasties. Overall it is an except

Eighteenth Century Antique One and Three-Quarter Carat(Plus) Dark Royal Purple Amethsyt Genuine Natural Semi-Precious Gemstone. Contemporary High Quality Sterling Silver Ring(Size 8– Resizing Available) CLASSIFICATION: Royal Amethyst Cabochon. ORIGIN: Coastal Devonian Lava Beds. Angus, Scotland. 18th Century. Contemporary setting. SIZE: Length: 9mm. Breadth: 7mm. Depth: 3mm. All measurements approximate. WEIGHT: 1.81 carats. NOTES: Resizing is available. 14kt solid gold setting is also available. DETAIL: In the medieval church Amethyst stood for piety and celibacy and was therefore worn by members of the Catholic Church clergy and was used to adorn crosses. Amethyst was also described in the Bible(Exodus 28:19; 39:12) as one of the 12 stones adorning the breastplate(hoshen) of the high priests of Yahweh. Also described in the Bible as the ... moretwelfth foundation of the(post rapture) heavenly“Holy City” is said to be built of amethyst. Here’s a large. Very richly colored colorful 18th century handcrafted dark royal purple amethyst oval from the Devonian lava beds found along the coast of Angus Country, Scotland. Very popular in 18th and 19th century Victorian Scotland, amethyst has remained a very popular gemstone through the 20th century. Gorgeous, vibrant, and richly hued, this striking gemstone possesses breathtaking luster and very regal texture. Hand crafted by an 18th century Russian artisan into this unusual and richly colored oval cabochon. Part of an heritage renown for the production of the elaborate gemstones and jewelry of the Czars of Medieval, Renaissance, and Victorian Russia. It is a fascinating gemstone, much nicer in appearance than the images here would suggest. Thought not flawless, it is a nice quality amethyst by 18th century standards. The gemstone is absolutely transparent, and is by and large eye clean. Even to very intent scrutiny, it is virtually impossible to discern any blemished within the gemstone with the naked eye. Certainly of course with a jeweler’s loupe, or in these phot
2 Antique 19thC Sapphire Ancient Hebrew Celtic Talisman Gemstones
Antique Genuine Natural Russian Quarter Carat(Plus) Faceted Bright Blue Sapphire Pears. CLASSIFICATION: Faceted Bright Blue Sapphire Pears. ORIGIN: The Ural Mountains. Russia. 19th Century. SIZE: About 4mm*3mm. WEIGHT: Approximately 0.53 Carats(the pair) NOTES: Upon request we can set your gemstones as a ring. Pendant, or as earrings(click for more information) DETAIL: In the world of the ancient Mediterranean(including the Greeks. Romans, Persians, Hebrews, and the various Indo-European Celtic tribes) priests and sorcerers honored the sapphire above all other gems, believing that sapphire enabled them to interpret oracles and foretell the future. Sapphires have been since ancient times one of the most highly valued of all gemstones, and references to the gemstone date back to about 800 B.C. Here are two gorgeous, richly colored natural bright ... moreblue sapphire precious gemstones from the Ural Mountains of Russia. These gemstones were hand faceted into very beautiful pears by a 19th century Russian artisan, part of an heritage renown for the production of the elaborate gemstones and jewelry of the Czars of Medieval, Renaissance, and Victorian Russia. The artisan's efforts resulted in two exquisite and incredibly richly colored precious gemstones with lots of fire and sparkle. They are considerably lighter than inky"midnight blue" African or Australian sapphires, more along the lines of the medium blue of sapphires from Ceylon and Burma.
