The ... morepiece originates from Mexico and dates around 600- 900 AD. The piece depicts a human head with sharp details in the face. The head is depicted wearing a headdress. With two spikes on the side and one center raised ridge, there is also a triangular shaped earring on the figures left ear, and the piece has a chip to the lower right ear. The piece has a whistle incorporated on the top of the headdress which still works playing only one note. Bottom of the piece, near the neck appears such that the figure is depicted wearing a necklace. The piece is in excellent condition, with much of the original paint still evident, face is red in color, and headdress is a light brown. The piece decorated with added pellets of clay and with two lug handles positioned bilaterally. A beautifully shaped vessel. And fascinating display piece. Height: 5 1/4 inches. Condition: Very good. CENT.AD PERFECT CONDITION Dimensions: 23 cm high 9' 1/4 16 cm wide 6' 1/2 9 cm at mouth 3' 1/2 This item is in perfect condition and was found in the sea by fishermen around the harbour of Caesarea. It takes quite a long time for sea shells to grow on pottery. SCARCE SHAPE. Comes with a C.O.A( certificate of Authenticity) and with an export license from the IAA( Israel Antiquities Authority) We are licensed to sell antiquities.
