There are cone shaped and round shaped crystal beads with none missing. Round beads measure 9 mm. While the cone beads measure approximately 6-7 mm. I say approximately because the silver cap covers the top of the cone bead. Very ornate crucifix, marked Hill Mark and Sterling on back. Rosary beads brown wood sterling silver w ebony inlay crucifix corpus cross
Set is in VG condition and measures 26 1/4" L. The brown beads I believe are olive wood and the cross has ebony wood inlay. on the medal with the beads is an 1830 Mary medal marked sterling and I believe the metal links are silver also. I don't see any marking on the cross which measures 2 1/2" H and the there are carved beads mixed in with the wood ones and I believe they are coral. Because the hit pin test didn't phase them. The Moonstone one has had some wire repair before it reached me(20" long, 1-1/2 x 7/8" C&M Sterling Cross engraved Dec 1925 with 1/4" Beads and 19grs. The same is true with the 2 purple glass/stone ones(1 is 14" long with silver cross 1-3/4 x 3/4" 20 grs and just needs wire attached between beads. Other is 17-1/4" long 1-1/8 x 5/8" 15 grs and may have just had chain attached) The small copper one, 5-3/4" long, ... more3/4 x 1/2" cross and 5grms, needs a new pin back but all else if fine. This auction is for a lovely old rosary featuring clear faceted crystal beads. Fine silver links, small silver metals, and a traditional crucifix hanging from it. When stretched out and laying flat, the rosary beads would measure about 16" long not including the cross(which by itself measures about 2 1/8" and is marked Sterling) The beads are each about 1/8" The medal is double sided with what looks like a Sacred Heart Jesus on one side and on the other and is marked Our Lady of Mt Carmel pray for us. The metal measures about 3/4" and is also marked Sterling. Item is in good, unpolished condition-you're getting it just as I did. Any polishing or cleaning will be left to the buyer's discretion. Vtg Lot of (3) Rosary Sterling Silver Crosses & Parts
Hello! You are bidding on a Vtg Lot(3) of Rosary Crosses-2) are made of sterling. 1) is not. These are being sold for parts. Going from left to right in the lead photo, here are specs on each: Made in Italy of sterling silver it measures 1 7/8" long The big cross in the middle is heavy and made of sterling-looks to have an arts& crafts stamp on the backside. It measures 2 3/8" This cross is connected to a rosary of glass beads-but it is broken. The center piece is also made of sterling. The cross on the right is made in Italy but it is not marked as being sterling. It measures 1 3/4" I bought this knife new in the mid-90s. It is in very good. Lightly used condition and functions as it should. There is a spot of corrosion on one end(pictured) Printed on the backside is this information in four sections: STERLING.925 A"Y" ... moreshape w/ RLB" stamped inside SABL Thanks for looking and please e-mail with any questions.
