Lot of VTG& Antique Estate Rosaries For Parts Repair Harvest Rework Salvage WOW Description Mixed lot of vintage and antique estate rosaries for parts. Repair, harvesting, reworking, salvage, etc. The lot contains a mix 6 broken or damaged rosaries and two rhinestone cross pendants that are missing stones. Some are repairable and some are for scrap.The long wood bead one, which is 29" when laid flat, is only missing one of the nails in the cross and is otherwise in really good shape. Next, there is one made of what looks like some type of bean with a Sacred Heart center typical of many rosaries dating back as late as the mid 1800's. I do not know when it was made but it is in several pieces and looks to be quite old. The curcifix is two pieces hollowed out and hinged& held together with a small screw. Inside is a small scroll ... morewith writing and what looks like mud or clay usually signifying it is a souvenir often blessed from a local Pope in the area visited, but I can not confirm this one has or by whom it was blessed. It is signed on the back ROMA and Italy. All pieces and beads appear to be original and are all accounted for, it just needs to be put back together and it's ready to go. The black one is missing several of the tiny wood beads but as you can see the original wiring holding them together is quite old making it a great one for replacement parts. It's crucifix is signed France. The creamy white one looks like celluloid. It is only missing one bead and one of Jesus's arms is broken off on the crucifix. Also, I found two tiny initials on the center. G.D. not sure if this is the maker or a mark for gold or gold plating, etc. and the crucifix itself is very detailed with symbols at the end of each point on the cross. It is very small, measuring only about 13" laid flat. Next is a well rubbed white plastic one that has the really old wire chain and aluminum crucifix and center. It is broken and was tangled together resulting in it getting hooked together in the wrong place.

These two well made rosaries come direct from the Holy land brought back by a priest who visited there often. They are vintage but in fabulous condition being well kept over the years. Amazing lot of 6 vintage and antique estate rosaries. This instant collection contains red. Clear and AB coated crystal, one cocoa bead and one that I'm not sure if it's wood or plastic. I'm not an expert on religious items so I've provided good pics of both the front and back of each cross and center and am prepared to answer any questions you may have to the best of my ability. What I can tell you is that most are vintage, the black one pictured to the far right is more likely antique and all are in good condition and are presented as found with their original patina intact. Print is paper with plastic and metal decorations.Jewels,9 1/2"x11 1/4"wood frame with glass,in VG condition,faint stains and rippling from moisture,the kids prayer book is 3"x4 1/4"VG,the 2 figures are plastic with cloth robes,5" tall,VG,minor fading and stains,the rosaries are mostly plastic,a few have broken links,cards are 2"x3"2 1/4"x4 1/4"the charms,medals and crucifixes are mostly 1/2"1 3/4"all in good-VG condition.

2 Vintage Rosaries Ebony and Brown Color Beads-Estate Description. 2 Vintage Rosaries. As Found Estate of elderly friend. Not sure of the age. One has brown beads. 1.5" cross and heart. The 2nd one has larger black beads. Small 1 1/8" cross marked Roma on the back and small metal disk. I haven't tried to clean them us. Use as is or for replacement parts.
