One rosary has white slightly opalescent looking round glass beads with a rectangular-shaped medal about 1/2"+ marked Pauulus VI Pont Max Roma and a shiny silver metal crucifix that's almost 2" long. I counted 39 beads, each about 1/8"+ long. It's a little difficult to get an exact measurement but when stretched out it would be about 15" long not including the cross at the end. The other rosary has round beads that look like they were painted or coated? with something which has now flaked and worn off. It has a heart-shaped silver colored metal medallion(about 3/4" and a shiny silver tone metal cross that's about 1 1/2" long. This rosary measures about 16" long not including the cross, each bead measures less than 1/4" with a few that are slightly different size. Being that none of the metal pieces are marked, I wouldn't know if there is any actual silver content or not. I know nothing about the history, origin, or exact age. These are vintage items in good condition. As previously mentioned, there is flaking/wear to whatever is coating the beads on the heart rosary. 2 Small Vintage Glass Bead Rosaries Rosary
This auction is for two small vintage glass bead rosaries. The black rosary measures 16 inches from end to end when laid flat. The white rosary is 17 inches. We see no markings on either crucifix or centerpiece medallion to indicate where or when the rosaries were made. Both are used and showing some discoloration to the metal on the crucifixes. The rosaries are in good condition otherwise with no missing beads.

One rosary has white slightly opalescent looking round glass beads with a rectangular-shaped medal about 1/2"+ marked Pauulus VI Pont Max Roma ... moreand a shiny silver metal crucifix that's almost 2" long. I counted 39 beads, each about 1/8"+ long. It's a little difficult to get an exact measurement but when stretched out it would be about 15" long not including the cross at the end. The other rosary has round beads that look like they were painted or coated? with something which has now flaked and worn off. It has a heart-shaped silver colored metal medallion(about 3/4" and a shiny silver tone metal cross that's about 1 1/2" long. This rosary measures about 16" long not including the cross, each bead measures less than 1/4" with a few that are slightly different size. Being that none of the metal pieces are marked, I wouldn't know if there is any actual silver content or not. I know nothing about the history, origin, or exact age. These are vintage items in good condition. As previously mentioned, there is flaking/wear to whatever is coating the beads on the heart rosary. This rosary was a gift to my mother-in-law from her mother in 1946 but it may predate that. Vintage"ROSARY" Made in France- 2(two) Rosaries- Ebony Beads Up for auction are 2(two) vintage Christian" Irish Rosaries" Length of 21" on the black Ebony" Flower" beaded one and 18" on the brown wood one. Genuine both marked Made in France. On the back of the brown one it is marked on the back of the crucifix" Lourdes" France. Great condition for the age. Handling and usage. Not sure of the age on both of them. Please see my many other current Rosaries and Religious items in my other auctions this week. Acquired from an estate auction. 2 Vintage Rosaries Ebony and Brown Color Beads-Estate Description. 2 Vintage Rosaries. As Found Estate of elderly friend. Not sure of the age. One has brown beads. 1.5" cross and heart. The 2nd one has larger black beads. Small 1 1/8" cross marked Roma on the back and small metal disk. I haven't tried to clean them us. Use as is or for replacement parts.
