There was one very similar one that was made in West Germany. This particular pitcher does not have a makers mark that I could find though. It appears to be vintage. This is a very heavy. Solid pitcher. It has sunbursts cut into the bottom half of the pitcher with clusters of grapes and leaves etched and cut above. It has a silverplate handle, lid and spout. The insert still has its cork insert in the cap to prevent leaks. The spout has a strainer to keep and fruit particles in the pitcher, not the glass. The item measures approximately 11.5 inches high and 8 inches across(spout to handle) It weighs 4 pounds. 10 ounces. The silver is tarnished in some spots.
