This is a very nice antique empire period Ogee style mirror frame. It retains it's original back, it would need a piece of mirror glass. It measures aprox. 22 3/4" x 31 3/4" and the opening on front is 12" x 21" It is made of a mahogany veneer over pine and is very well made, you can see where corner braces were cut into the corners on the back. Other than some veneer chips mostly on the edge it is in good condition. It is available for pickup or can be delivered by Fed Ex ground for 16.80 including insurance to the lower 48 states. These unexpected survivors were removed many years ago from an architectural over mantel prior to the demolition of the house and the surfaces survive with bright. Un-enhanced honesty. Forming a frame of split balusters with corner blocks measuring app. 44 ¼” tall x 24” wide with app. 38 ¼” x 17 ¾” reveal, it would originally have been oriented horizontally(but photographs more easily vertically…sorry) You will note insignificant nicks and losses with some grime, but overall it is quite nice. I see no re-paint and the darker areas in the heavy classical gesso will likely brighten with cleaning if you desire. The 1 7/8” thick x 3 1/8” square corner blocks all have original embossed brass rosettes that may have originally been fire gilt and painted later. This old cast iron base has a cool industrial look. It's actually an old cream separator base, but would work great as a decor piece or a machine stand. It weighs around 40 lbs unpacked and measures about 17 1/4" tall. 15" by 20" at the bottom, and 5" by 7" at the top. It has a bolt in the center of the top that has been cut off. The bolt head is underneath, you might be able to get it out, if not a top could still be mounted using the bigger holes. It has aging and wear. Some surface rust etc, but is awfully cool! Circa 1820 British antique drawer pull brass salvaged furniture hardware
Gorgeous antique drawer pulls Circa 1800-1840 These will look great on any antique. The aged patina will make them look like they were there forever These were on a small dresser which was made in England circa 1800-1840. It had hand cut dovetail drawers, hand planed drawer bottoms, it was made mostly of solid cherry*some back plates(2 out of 6)have a small tear/crack in the brass.you hardly notice it when they are mounted and secured with the screws.also the hand wrought posts are jiggly/loose. It does not effect the function, the bail handles lift and swivel just fine These are made entirely from solid cast brass Incredible naturally aged patina. Of course you could be hand buffed to highlight the brass if you wish. They are currently in their natural state with a beautiful 195 year old patina These originally had 4 tiny solid brass screws ... morein the back plate attaching them to the drawer front I will include 5 new solid brass 1/2 inch long screws(includes 1 extra screw) custom aged to match the patina of the pull You will need to drill/chisel a small recess since the hand wrought mounting posts protrudes from the back side of the back plate. That will allow them to lay perfectly flat(see photo of back side of the back plate) I guarantee you will never find anything like this in any retail store. Authentic pulls with a 195 year old patina There is a number stamped into the back plate.it is a bit hard to read but looks like"RB243940" Each pull has a unique patina. Up for bid is 4 iron table legs that measures 22 inches tall and seven and three fourths across the top where it bolts to the table. These legs are in good shape. The rubber bottoms have ware but not destroyed. The main leg is 1 and half inches across at the top where it mounts to the brace that bolts to the table top. Very sturdy and will hold a lot of weight. Each leg has a small hair pin leg brace that travels 13 inches from the top of main leg down toward the bottom.The large cross plate at the top of the leg measures seven and three fourths across with three counter sunk holes for bolting to the table top of your choice. Square Grand Piano Legs - 4 Pieces Nicely Carved - with some damage
4 wonderfully carved piano legs that have some wear and also some tear- looking to support another. Less noisy, piece of furniture for another hundred years. Seriously these are four stout and ornate legs that could be"repurposed" to create a coffee table or a desk similarly proportioned to the piano pictured. The legs add 24" to anything they will be attached to. The wood thread on top is 1-3/4"x 3 threads per inch but this is an odd thread pitch- not standard for a metal nut/bolt thread. The legs have a dark opaque stain. The wood I believe is popular. There is a solid repair to the caster skirt on one of the legs. The legs show some"glue-line" from the original lamination. All the legs have the scrapes and bumps you would expect from a centenarian. Additionally all of the legs have abraded damage to the volute ... morearea. Pic 9. Additionally two of the legs have abraded damage to the grape cluster and scroll areas, pics 7&8. Take a good look at all the pics. Make sure you can use these, given their condition. ONE PAIR LARGE HEAVY FANCY WOOD 30" TABLE LEGS FURNITURE SALVAGE
This is for one Pair of Fancy Table Legs. I think one Maple and one Cherry 30" overall. The tops are about 3" by 3" The bottoms are about 3" by 3" and about 4" across the front at the widest point. They where never finished as you can see in the photos. I don't know what you could use them for. Use your imagination. They are in very good to excellent condition except for a little dust. I got them from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc.
