This is a beautiful matching pair of solid cast iron fluted doric columns with removable and original bases. The columns were made circa turn of the century and both are nicely embossed with prominent foundry numbers along the columns as are the bases. They are a rare size measuring 2ft 5.5 inches and 7 in diameter at the foot of the column and mounted on 8"x8" square bases. Each weighs approx 40 lbs. The bases have four mounting holes and the top has two holes. Excellent condition with no breaks or cracks. Thank you!

This is for one Fancy Maple Flamingo Chair Splat. The Flamingo is 8" T by 6" W and 5/8" thick. It was never cut out of the blank or finished as you can see in the photos. It is in very good condition except for discoloration and a little dust and a crack on the bottom right corner that you can see in the photos. I got it from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc.

Striking Antique 19th Century Victorian Era Hand Carved Wood Pediment Panel
Striking Antique 19th Century Victorian Era Hand Carved Wood Pediment Panel Ooooh. Got very lucky this week at one of my favorite flea markets. I have just about everything, from the very old and primitive to the very unique with some fabulous folk art thrown in too! I’ll be listing all week, so keep checking back! I'm telling you. I have some reeeeeeeally cool old pediments, architectural pieces and furniture parts this week- you want to check back for my other listings too! This one is so old, and so beautiful, I just can't say enough about it. It's also somewhat of a mystery to me. It was clearly a panel- my gut tells me in a cabinet rather than architectural(unless it was a built in, which it clearly could have been) You can see a smooth 1/4" border all around where the decorative texture of the center stops, and small ... morenail holes(like I'm showing in photo 13) all along the border from whatever it used to be mounted into. That part I GET. The mystery to me is on the backside, though, where you can also see a row of small nails all around, and there's teenie pieces of a black material( see photo 21) stuck under some of those nails still. Also, in the center, is a round piece of very hard old leather nailed into place- I don't THINK it has to do with the mounting of the carved pieces on the front, I can't be sure, but it appears to have had some other function at one point in time. Could this have been the front panel of a cabinet door with a fabric(or maybe padded fabric) door interior? I don't know for sure, and it's not telling me! I can tell you as of late, it's been hung as a decorative piece, as there's a modern day picture hanger on the back. The body is made from solid piece wood, with a beveled edge on three sides that bevels down to the smooth border with the nail holes. The fourth end, which is a short end, is not beveled. It has an extra piece of wood running the length of the wood which is not part of the solid body- see photo 17. You can see a teenie

Pair Ornate Painted Salvaged Doors from 1920's Radio Cabinet
Unusual and ornate pair of salvaged doors removed from a 1920's Italian radio cabinet. Each measures 16.5" by 14" They are made of solid woods-what used to be for the inside door backs are veneer. Fantastic old carved faces from antique chair arms
I am not certain of age or hardwood type. These were once attached to an antique chair that was destroyed. Mildewed, and burned; these arms survived, and are magnificently carved masterpieces. I had planned to make a shelf, but never got around to it. Heads without the spiral arms are worthy of being cleaned up and mounted on marble as sculpture, but I left arms attached because they are great, and new owner may want to utilize them in his or her own creative idea. High quality craftsmanship went into the old chair, and I wanted to keep the best part of it alive.

SALVAGED ARCHITECTURE FURNITURE CARVED PEDIMENT PIECE NEEDS WORK
SALVAGED FURNITURE HEAVILY CARVED WOOD PEDIMENT.ALMOST 17" WIDE. ABOUT 11" TALL. THIS IS THE SALVAGED TOP SECTION OF A LARGER PIECE. THE BOTTOM has some broken off pieces. they can be carved in a manner to be unnoticeable and could use some plastic wood as filler. and it can be made to be straight across the bottom with a little tlc. it is basically all there but does require some carving and filler touchup for the little missing pieces. the gold paint is exstensively chipped needs to be refinished. the back looks like some reinforcement wood was applied years ago to help keep it safe. there are no cracks. Just chips. there is a carved long neck flying goose at the bottom and carved flowers in vase at the top. with leaf and ribbon design through out. the pediment is about 1 1/4" to 2" thick at various areas. this is a ... morebeautiful piece to be restored. selling as is as a restoration project. shabby and chic.

Lot of 4 Matching Antique Casters with Wooden Wheels
We've got another set of four matching antique furniture casters. This is a large. Hard-to-find set with wooden wheels and cast iron yokes/stems. They are the kind of casters that were commonly used on large pieces of furniture like bedframe legs. The wheels are about 1 5/8" in diameter and 11/16" wide. The metal stem that fits into the socket of the furniture is 2 3/4" long from tip to base. About 7/16" in diameter at the base, and about 1/4" in diameter at the tip. The center of the wheel is about 7/8" offset from the centerline of the stem. The stem on this type of caster generally would fit into a metal socket that is fixed inside the furniture leg. We do not have the metal sockets that match with these casters. These are nice. Antique casters in very good condition considering their age. There is a little ... moresurface rust on the iron parts. The wooden wheels turn freely on their shafts. Two of the wheels exhibit pronounced and attractive wood grain. One wheel has a small flat spot that is about 5/8" long. One of the other wheels has an even smaller flat spot and the center hole in this wheel has become enlarged to about 5/16" hard to measure) We tried to orient the flat spots on the wheels so that they are visible in the high resolution photos that accompany this listing. 1940's Rosewood Trimmed Settee with Ball and Claw Feet -- Very Sturdy
This settee is 66 inches wide and 23 inches in depth from back of couch to seat edge. The trim is rosewood with ball and claw feet. From the edge of the cushion to floor the settee is 14 inches. This settee has belonged to my family since 1940 and is a very heavy. Sturdy piece of furniture. The settee was reupholstered in the'70's with polished cotton in the peacock and floral design on a beige backgound. The back of the settee originally was a channel back, but it was changed by the upholsterer. The settee is in need of reupholstering unless a buyer wants the peacock and floral background. Thus. I would suggest steam cleaning the back and front base of the settee to restore its brightness. The seats under the cushions are like new. And I have washed the cushion covers which are like new. Queen Anne furniture 3 pieces
Queen Anne coffee table and two end tables all for one price I will not separate. They are solid mahogany wood approximately 60-70 years old. The coffee table is 30"x19" and the two end tables are 20"x20" and stand 28" high. This set came out of and estate and were being used so they do have some scratches and chips on the wood, some light water staining on the coffee table, and a few of the legs will need to be tightened. There are no cracks of any kind and the set is basically in excellent condition, however I will not ship the pieces so this will have to be a buyer pickup only OR I WILL DELIVER THE SET ON LONG ISLAND NY IF YOU ARE WITHIN 100 MILES OF MY LOCATION. Vintage New Home Hanging Sign Salavaged Sewing Machine Cabinet Wood Panel
Here is a great piece of salvaged wood. That I believe came from the front of an antique NEW HOME sewing machine cabinet. What is so cool is that they kept it intact with the corner pieces so that it can actually be hung as a sign if you choose. There are hinges on the back that attach the NEW HOME piece to the rest of the frame. The total piece measures about 20" wide, and about 8 3/4" tall, and 2 1/4" at its deepest. 4 Vintage Mid Century Modern Wooden Pencil Tapered Table legs / Brackets 14-3/8"
Four used legs and brackets. These legs taper slightly at the top also. Brackets mount leg at a slight angle. 14-3/8" long and the brackets add about another 1/8" Good condition. May need to be refinished or painted due to wear marks. Brass plating is worn on tips. Brackets need to have holes drilled for mounting as these were just pressed in a grove on the bottom edge. Also stud sticks through bracket a little. USA sales only.
