Vintage Mid Century Modern 4 piece Furniture Leg Set Danish Modern design. Tapered with brass accents. Each one has the screw and the hardware that allows the legs to be screwed in and sit at a slight angle attached. This allows for easy installation. Made of a brown hardwood with brass accent with brass swivel feet with plastic on the bottom. Fantastic 50s/ 60s design. Antique stempunk industrial iron wheel. The machine age cast iron wheel is about 12" and the band measures about 1 1/2" The two axle parts measure about 2 3/4" and 3" from the center. At their lowest adjustment they measure 16" high and at their tallest adjustment they measure 24" high. At the feet they have a width of just under 12" At the top it measures 8" wide. They are raised and lowered by loosening and tightening a nut and bolt. They are in very good condition with no damage and adjusting smoothly. ANTIQUE SOLID WALNUT HAND CARVED FURNITURE PEDIMENT PIECES
Up for bid is several pieces of an antique solid walnut furniture pediment or gallery from a Victorian or Eastlake era piece of furniture. The pieces are primitively hand carved as well as hand made. And although there are a few missing pieces, there do seem to be enough to create a nice gallery around the top of a bureau, buffet, dresser, and/or etc. The pieces are approximately 1/2" in thickness by an overall length for the longest center piece of about 21" On some pieces there is carving on both sides. My guess is the carver was practicing or was doing"do overs" in order to get the best look that they wanted to achieve before finishing the piece. The top center carving piece does have a chip or missing piece of wood, though it does not take away from the overall glamour of the pieces. A nice grouping of carvings for ... morethe restoration project or perhaps a new project awaiting just the right selection of carvings. These nicely carved polychrome fragments of solid tulip poplar were salvaged from some very impressive and decorative early 1900s construction. They have no certain provenance. But look like circus wagon fragments to me. Each measures an impressive 24” long with one being 6 ½” wide and the other 5” each is 1 1/8” thick. The carving was all done by hand and the surface is a dry, stable and colorful blend of red, green and gold(Santa’s sleigh? You will note old rusty nails and raw edges where they broke away.
