I believe it was a folding door panel. The panel measures 18" x 15 1/4" in the open state. It folds closed on fabric hinges to measure 8" x 15 1/4" The panel is made of wood that is covered with decorative paper and a lithograph image of a Union Civil War soldier. The soldier has a drawn sword and sits on a spirited white horse(note the saddle is marked. U.S" The image of the soldier(including decorative boarder around him) measures 10 3/4" x 7 1/2" The panel is covered in various papers and appears to be hand crafted. The boarders are glued on strips of paper. The background paper is blue plaid on one side and a geometric design on the ... moreother side. The paper colors are red, gold, blue, and black. The lithograph of soldier is very colorful with all colors. There is some damage to the middle of the image as you can see.this where it folds in two and the years of folding have worn the paper thru. There are stains and tears to this item. but no strong smell.actually kind of a pleasant smell(maybe the wood) There is a leather tab still attached on the front side. There were small square nails holding this panel at one time(I removed for shipping and will not include unless you ask for them(2 each) If you look carefully in the sky area to the left of the soldier there is a faint stamp which reads, return in 10 days to Pana, Illinois" Pana is near Springfield in the center of the state) This is a very interesting old item in"as is" state. It is carved from one solid piece of wood with the exception of the two long pieces of wood on the back. Stayed at a fabulous B&B in South Dakota- made even more heaven by the fact that they also had an antique store on the property. I shopped in several other locations in both states and brought home some great primitives. Advertising, pottery, and all in all interesting finds. Before I left, I went to a new farm auction, and an estate auction- so I have a BUNCH of new items this week- I’ll be posting every day, so be sure to check back! Now. I have a customer that buys lion related items, and that's who I was thinking of when I saw this beauty- but anyone will truly appreciate it. What I have is an antique drawer pull in the shape of a lion's head with the round pull handle in his ... moremouth. It measures 2 1/16" tall in all, with the round pull being the widest at 1 3/8" wide/diameter. The ring is made of steel that once(appears to have) had a brass colored finish. The lion is made of a metal that a magnet does not stick to- it's either spelter with a brass finish, or brass, with a very dark patina. I truly can't tell wich for sure, but my gut is the first one. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition. There's a very dark patina, and light surface rust on the pull ring- very ligh. This one has loooots of character to spare. 3 LEG MACHINE AGE CAST IRON INDUSTRIAL BASE PEDESTAL STEAMPUNK
This is a very nice machine age cast iron base or pedestal. It would make a great stand or table base. It measures 18" high. It is 3" in diameter at the top, 2 1/8" in diameter inside and when measuring across any two legs it is 20" center to center. diameter. There are two set screws at the top which need to be loosened with WD 40 or something similar. Other than some obvious surface rust it is in good solid condition. It is available for pickup or can be shipped by Fed Ex ground for 24.80 to the lower 48 states.

They are the same on the bottom& tops of legs very ornate feet just the center is different& they are unmarked. Not sure if these are older ones or manufacturer also made them for another company. In excellent condition no chips or cracks. They had surface rust& have been sanded& are ready to be primed& painted Wheels do not turn. Vintage drawer pull hardware lot of 9, with original screws from desk
Offering a set of 9 old drawer pulls from a desk. I have no idea of their age or manufactor. The desk was beyond recovery but the hardware was in good shape. They are 3 in wide and 2-3/8 in high. the screws are at 2-1/2 in at center. They look like original color was black painted. There is some surface rust. But only on surface. The bails are all there and swing freely. I left one on the drawer for picture, all the rest have been hand removed and the original screws are attached, none are stripped. If you want the drawer front to use for pilot hole drilling, please ask for invoice before paying, there will be an increase in shipping charges, I did not include the weight for postage. Measures 16½" long. 7" wide by 11½" high(extended) The bolt pattern for mounting to chair seat measures 6½" by 15½" Very heavy and is in good working condition… just needs a good cleaning and paint. Study the photos… they seem to say it all. These parts were covered with dirt. Dust, rust and whatever else may settle in an old barn. This is what we refer to in the trade as patina. I have wiped off most of the surface grime but the rest of the patina is all yours(we will call it part of the restoration process) All of the photos are straight out of the camera with no enhancements. This is a whole desk but is too heavy so I am just selling the legs from it. I wanted you to see what it could look like as a desk but the wood is bad in some spots but you could easily replace the wood if you wanted it as a desk again. Before you ask the only way I would sell this complete is if you come and pick it up because it is just too heavy as is. The metal legs could make an awesome table base or whatever else you can think of. I'm not sure if they are cast iron or steel but they are heavy which is good for using as a base.
