Carved FOX! Library Panel Eastlake Victorian Cabinet Door Tiger Oak Wall Plaque
Original. Victorian antique. 100+ year old, European cupboard door. Mostly quarter sawn oak construction with nice patina. In 2 places it has raised, beveled trim framing. Inside is elaborate, carving everywhere. Right top corner has cattails. Top left corner has leaves/stems/berries. In the middle is a fox( standing on ground foliage eating/drinking from an ornate urn. Very 3 dimensional, in person. Spectacular, ornate escutcheon intact. This is a large antique piece measuring 25 5/8 inches tall and 22 inches wide. I also have a second door from same cabinet also listed. Some room in either direction to cut down into custom size. Some gaps at corners making center panel a little loose. Fox also has a poorly repaired leg. Take a close look, what you see is what you get. Great chance to steal a bargain! Up for auction is a great looking antique cast iron wheel or gear recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It would be wonderful for any steampunk project. It has a grooved exterior rim which leads us to believe it may have had a padded piece at one time for hand turning a sewing machine. But just an educated guess. This measures 12" and has a piece that comes to a point that would have fit into the mechanism for turning something, but we do not believe it to be coffee grinder part. This listing is for a set of Crystal Doorknobs with brass accessories and hardware. Brand is Sargent and has a Patented Dates of 6/28/1881 and 1/26/1886 stamped on latch mechanism. Overall the set is in really good shape. A couple pieces didn't fair to well and a few of the knobs have been scratched slightly. You could outfit 11 doors with all the pieces or 9 doors real nice with some parts left over. Also included are crystal knobs for cabinets. 11 knobs total. 8 match and 3 match the first 8 but are a little smaller. Set was salvaged from a 1900's era house.

Fabulous Industrial - Steampunk Cast Iron Base / Stand - old machine stand
Up for the offering is this Fabulous Industrial/ Steampunk Cast Iron Base/ Stand from an old factory machine shop(of the early 1900's) Not exactly sure what it was originally. It might have been some type of saw(like a jigsaw? It was originally belt driven/ powered. There are 2 pulleys(mounted to one side) The outer pulley is for when the machine is not working- the belt runs free(doesn't operate the machine) The inner pulley drives a small cast iron wheel with a shaft that makes the top part reciprocate(move up and down) I am guessing that it might have had a saw blade move up and down. I was thinking it might have been a stamping/ press; but. I think(with the small wheel) the frequency of the up and down part would not stamping an easy task. In any case it is wonderful. Great cast iron legs with almost art nouveau flowing lines ... moreand curls. Will make a fabulous focal point of Industrial/ Loft living space. This is the top half of an old youth chair. The spindles. Back horizontal head slat, and arms are good. The seat has a small crack in front left; it does not go all the way through(see picture) One arm has a bit of roughness on back edge. The side posts were cut off just below the seat. PAIR OF LARGE ANTIQUE EMPIRE STYLE FURNITURE LEGS / FEET
This is a large pair of antique Empire style feet or legs. They are made with a mahogany veneer which is pretty typical. They measure aprox. 5 3/4" high x 6 3/4" wide at the top and 5" wide at the bottom and are 3" deep. There are a couple of small veneer chips which you can see in the pictures, otherwise they are fine. Please e-mail with any questions.
