The trunk features a"cushion top" with a fold out hanger system with original hangers. The drawers are all there. As well as a piece that sits in the bottom drawer(see pictured photo) There is also a piece thats used to secure the hangers farther back that is pictured. The hinges are all working however need to be cleaned. The locks appear in very good condition. No keys. These trunks were the very best. Right at the top with Louis Vuitton, Goyard, M. M. Secor, etc. This trunk was one of Hartmann's top models of the time, costing close to $200.that's over $2500 in today's market. Only a well-to-do gentleman or lady would have owned something this expensive and of this quality. This particular trunk is a cushion-top model, and is also gibraltarized, patentened process in order to make the trunk frame very strong. This is all steel-frame construction. The trunk features a velvet cushioned top to protect clothing during travel. All original"unbreakable hangers" a garment bag for clothing worn, all hand riveted, and featered a patented locking mechanism that actually hooks so your trunk would never open in travel. From the hangers to the cloth lining, and cloth ties, this was made for an entire wardrobe to moved about without putting a wrinkle in any of your items. Antique Hartman steamer trunk w/ original lock and key, coffee table, vintage
For your consideration a beautiful antique steamer trunk from the turn of the century manufactured by Hartman of Racine Wisconsin. This trunk features its original locka with original key both function flawlessly. The trunk retains all of it original hinges buckles and both leather handles which are all in excellent condition. The trunk also retains the original Hartmann and Gibrlatorized logos which are also in excellent vintage condition and can be read easily. The inside of this trunk is in as nice of shape as the outside showing one small tear in the material on the top side of the trunk. Easy fix. The inside is lined in a silk type of material. The trunk is missing the inside shelf to divide it top to bottom. The exterior condition shows very minor scuffs, no dents it has a couple of paint dots on it here and there very non distracting ... moreand it adds character to the piece. This would work perfectly as a coffee table or storage at the end of the bed for blankets and pillows. This is truelly a fantastic conversation piece and is in excellent vintage condition. You don't often find them pretty well intact with the original key and lock. There are no pry marks across the top edge either as it has its original key. The measures ments of the trunk are 36 inches side to side, 23 inches deep and 25 inches top to bottom. No reserve auction, high bidder wins! I will ship this trunk via Greyhound package express to the closest Greyhound terminal of the winning bidder where it will have to be picked up. They will hold the piece for two days for free. Great Vintage Antique Leather Luggage Handle & Straps, Garters, Trunk
This is a really cool estate find. It's an antique or vintage luggage handle with side leather straps and two long loose straps. The handle part measures 11" long by about 1-1/4" wide. It has nice flower studs holding the handle to the brace and the only marking I can find are embossed flowers on the buckle flags. The leather straps are about 40" long. Then there are two 35" long separate straps that are marked suede top. Genuine Cowhide and CODE Garter something something. Overall very good condition for it's age. All the leather is still pretty strong. I don't know that I'd trust this on actual heavy luggage but for display it's perfect. Really nice vintage example. I will combine on shipping but rates have gone up again. Vintage Wood Storage Treasure Dome Chest Trunk with Brass Inlay and Trim Inside Tray Here is a beautiful wood storage chest trunk for your buying consideration. Recently picked it up at an auction. Not sure whom the maker of this great piece is. My guess is that this chest was made in Asia. But again just a guess. Not sure what the wood type is. It does have some great graining in it. What is really eye catching with this chest is the brass inlay and the designs they make on all sides of the chest with the exception of the bottom. Neat design to hold the lid in place. You open the chest and there is a wood plate on the back of the trunk that holds the lid up instead of just a chain or strap. There is a nice wooden tray with a carrying handle that sits snugly in the top of the chest. I see no major cracks. Splits, or repairs to the wood to ... morereport to you. The latch on the front of the chest and the hinges appear to be made of brass as well. For that little pirate in you or a loved one. This chest just has a great look to it. A rare item. This is the 1965 Snoopy Wardrobe Trunk for 11" plush dolls. It measures approximately 12" x 7" x 6 1/2" It is made out of cardboard and is missing the closing latch. has it's red drawer inside to put the small clothing in. It is not perfect and has some wrinkles and wear. Comes with many outfits and 2 hangers. The Beagle Scout outfit(including the hat) is awesome. It also includes the Pilot's jacket. Cap and goggles, the sheriff's vest and shorts, an additional pair of brown shorts, a blue cap with S on the front and a Snoopy for President shirt which is a little dirty plus two neckerchiefs. I have a very nice vintage steamer trunk wardrobe. This has been used so there are a few things that would need fixed if it were ti be made perfect. I tried to take as many pics as possible to show you the trunk. It is beautiful and will make a great addition to your home or collection. I cannot locate keys. The handle is missing on the bottom and is attached to just one side in top. The other side will pull out and is not attached. Some minor water damage but nothing that destroys the integrity or durability. The bottom of trunk shows some wear from travel. Dark green and black with name in white lettering. I have tried to shown the full details of the box and the Royal Seal. Its size is approx 36.5 x 51 cms. 34 cms in height not including handle. Inside the box lid an advertising paper has been glued explaining the wonders of the fire box. I'm am not sure if there has been some repair in the past to blottom left hand side of the base see photo 5. This is as I have said before a very fine historical piece. After apprenticing from his father in 1791. In 1830 Thomas Milner founded the firm Thomas Milner and Son in Liverpool. It would become the foremost English safe company of the 19th century. Early on in his career his clients included the Duke of Wellington and the English War Office. Milner safes are also known to have been aboard the Titanic. Milner was a pioneer in the development of the fire resistant safe(thus the phoenix stamp) and much involved in the taking out of patents. These fire resistant safes were developed by adding an inner body and filling in the space inbetween with a compond which would insulate the contents and emit moisture which lowered the flash point of any paper contents. He demonstrated the excellence of his safes by placing them in the centre of huge bonfires. Milner later emerged with Chatwood nearly 100 years later and were subsequently brought by Chubb in 1962.

Here you are bidding on an"Antique Carpenters Handmade Work Chest/Trunk. This is a big heavy trunk that measures 37 1/2 inches wide X 23 1/2 inches deep X 23 inches high. It lifts opens to expose sliding drawers on different levels to storage spaces as you get closer to its bottom. The top starts off with 2 sliding drawers with lift open tops. Next there are another 2 sliding drawers of different widths, next level there are another 2 sliding drawers of different sizes and dividers and then there are 2 more sliding drawers of different sizes and dividers. As you reach the bottom you have three stand up dividers that seperate the bottom into three sections of different size spaces. All the drawers slide forward and back and all can be removed as well. These sliding drawers inside and divisions were for tools of all types as well as storage ... morefor chisels, planes, and saws. There are nice brass handles at either end and a lock mechanism in the front(key not included) This is quite an exquisite piece with a lot of history. All dove tailed and handmade and all levels of draws that slide with no hardware on them at all. It's really hard to believe the work that was put into making something like this. It's quite large and really is best lifted by two people- a piece of history that i can safely says dates to the mid 1850's. It is also in very good condition and has been well preserved. The old hangars, the briefcase like drawer that slides in under the clothes, and what looks to be an ironing board that has paper covering it(we did not take it out- we left it undisturbed) We do not have keys, the big lock on the front was popped but looks to be okay. There is a sticker or two that say Belber(which is how we knew that much about it) We believe this is all original and it is in pretty good shape- it does have marks and wear due to use and age but it seems to be a very solid piece and would be awesome restored.
