This is a very lovely bohemian style tapestry couch! It has wooden framing and floral tapestry material. The frame has great detail on it. Its a hard style of couch/sofa to find. The colors are warm and so pretty! Since it is true vintage and hasn't been restored it has some wear to the frame such as knicks. Maybe some scratching and just minor normal wear. One picture shows it from behind n looks like knicks but its two drops of white paint. Probably easily removed just never tried. The two of the cushions on the bottom and one on the top are worn so there's almost a hole in the material(shown in pictures) but it does NOT affect the integrity of the couch. Its not unraveling or ruined. If someone wants to restore this as a project it'd look so awesome and there's so many ideas for what you could do. Vintage Carved Mahogany French style Sofa by Karpen Bros c1930
This is a genuine Karpen Bros french style mahogany sofa in very good condition. All the trim and frame are undamaged and the material is in decent shape for its age.I researched this piece after discovering the name Karpen Brothers Huntington Park,Ca under the frame and this would indicate it was built around 1930. It has 6 cushions and is covered in a beige striped silk blend with blush rose colored rose buds. a very nice material that should be dry cleaned not steam cleaned to prevent damage to the material there is some signs of wear and dinginess to the arms and some fraying to the binding on one of the cushions but otherwise no tears and no stains I was told by my aunt and grandmother that it had been appraised to be valued around $4500-5000 by an Antique furniture expert in L.A.at least 25 yrs ago.

I cut down two nine foot tables from a butcher in Ohio Amish country to make several tables. I sanded it, and applied several coats of Poly. I added a set of vintage industrial lathe legs for a cool table. I tried to take decent pictures so you can judge its condition for yourself. Vintage 1970's Vinyl Doll Furniture Barbie Size Chairs Sofa Vintage 3 piece set of vinyl furniture. Sized to fit Barbie or dolls of similar size. Sofa: 10 inches wide x 4 inches deep and 4 1/2 inches high, one small split at the top back edge and 3 small splits on legs, one on side of sofa, all hard to see. These can all be glued. The white you see in the photos is not a split, but rather the inside of one section butting to the next. The splits are small so not real noticeable. Chairs measure 3 1/2 inches wide x 4 inches deep and 4 1/2 inches high. 2 splits on chair legs, one small split on back of one chair otherwise nice. These all have metal rivets holding them together, vinyl with cardboard insides, very sturdy. Very 1960's-1970's colors and design. Mid Century Modern Settee Loveseat Sofa Kroehler Vintage Retro 50s Rose Beige
My mother had this same style of sofa when I was little. I was elated when I found these. These are few and far between. Over the past few months. I've only seen one other pair and that was on Etsy for $975.They are easy to look at, don't dominate the room, easy to move and to recover, and allow for lots of flexibility. These can be placed side by side or perpendicular to each other.The previous owner let them get rained on- hence the waterstains but I've steam cleaned them, used upholstery cleaner, vacuumed them and had them airing in the sun for a week, so they are as clean as they can get without re-upholstering them. There is no smell and nobody smokes in our home. The sofas come with lots of tags, so not only are they clearly Kroehler pieces, the date and place of production are listed too. Vintage 1980's. Very nice upholstered blue Chippendale sofa made from an X-Acto House of Miniatures kit. There is a slight depression in the seat where the foam underneath must have been pressed down by something- see photos. Not bad, but I want to bring it to your attention. The two stained wood tables are manufactured in Taiwan. Great additions to your 1/12" scale dollhouse or diorama. Very good vintage condition from an adult crafter/collectors home- these pieces have never been played with.
