This is further complimented with the central cupboard with frieze drawer above and open niche above this. The top with it's pretty splash back is all good with no significant marks. Or mirror stand& vanity dating from the early Showa period between1930 and the early 50's boasts ... morean adjustable 3 way mirror that creates multiple reflections, made in a beautiful extra thick quality glass with beveled borders that still has a very clear reflection for its age. The center below the mirror is adorned with a textured glass surface reflecting a pale blue colour. Its Art deco lines, adorned with a lovely stripy grain veneer in a golden shade are accented by silver tone openwork handles. Small drawers offer space for accessories or make-up and it can easily fit on a night stand, chest or work top making it an very useable and versatile piece. It is in excellent overall condition for its age with no major damage. There are some slight bubbles in the veneer in a couple of places. And one small chip has been filled on the middle drawer. The attachment between the mirror and the stand is slightly wobbly on the left hand side, but stable. The back of the central mirror has had some small repairs(fills, nails) and has a couple of chips, but this part is normally hidden from view. DIMENSIONS: The width with the mirrors open is 55.2 cm. But this sets includes the mirror and it is in good condition. The drawers have very cool sculpted wooden side pulls that are beautifully crafted. They stand out from the dresser and chest of drawers like wood carvings. Very functional art. Each drawer is solid wood and of dovetailed construction. The top is laminate. It is a wonderful retro ensemble. The Dresser works well as a buffet and the mirror is easily detached. The furniture is solid. Sturdy and not overly large. VINTAGE DRESSER VANITY SET - ELEGANT HAND MIRROR AND BRUSH SET - ROSEs - 1950s
VINTAGE DRESSER VANITY SET- ELEGANT MATSON HAND MIRROR AND BRUSH SET- BOUQUET OF GILDED ROSEs- FROM THE 1950s The raised open rose and two rosebuds with leaves on the back of the mirror and brush are elegantly detailed. I believe this is a Matson Set but there are no labels. Matson sets were usually 24K gold plated. The Mirror is beveled. Set in an ornate gilt frame with cream moire fabric under a celluloid covering. In the center of both the Mirror and the Brush are a bouquet of gilded roses. The handles on both the Mirror and the Brush are beautifully detailed design of small flowers and leaves. The designs are on both sides of the handles. The Mirror measures approximately 14" long and approximately 6" at the widest point. The Mirror has a small flaw on the side edge(see picture) The moire fabric on the back of the mirror is ... moreslightly stained(see picture) The Mirror is showing very slight aging but is still nice and clear. The Brush is also set in an ornate gilt frame with cream moire fabric under a celluloid covering. The Bristle portion of the Brush detaches for easy cleaning. Sweet vintage brass rectangle tray with delicate lace under glass. This dresser or perfume tray measures about 10 in long handle to handle. Tray is about 8 in long x 5 in wide it is about 1/4 tall. the brass trim and handles are beautifully patterned.the lace is very delicate with 2 dancers and a musician. There is gold behind the lace. The back bottom of the tray is gold foil with a small piece torn off. The tray is in very good vintage used condition.

VINTAGE DRESSER VANITY SMALL CELLULOID GREAT CONDITION SWEET DECORATION
This is wonderful collection of vintage celluloid dresser items. Decorated with a charming floral garland that is quite turquoise blue and then the little flowers are pink and white. QUITE CUTE! The comb and brush each measure 4 1/2" inches and the soap dish measures about 3 1/2" wide. All pieces are in excellent condition. I did not attempt to clean them. Vintage, Syroco, wood composite dresser boxes
These are a set of vintage Syroco. Composite wood dresser boxes. They are bo t h lined, and very detailed on the outside. The lids fit on the container around t he details. Both have the original sticker on them. They are Syroco, made in Syracuse NY. One has some damage on the base and lid. The other has an exterior crack on the lid. None of the damage is visible when closed. I have not cleaned them. I'm not sure how to safely clean the surface without causing more damage. They are beautiful pieces. Up for sale is a Rare and Unusual Vintage 1930 Arrest Record of a Cross Dresser from Cleveland OH Police Department. This has a black and white photograph of the man arrested. Dressed in women's clothing including a dress and fur coat. The arrest record is dated February 15th. 1930. His occupation is Chauffeur and his crime was'invest' I believe this means'investigate' which probably means that he was arrested on a bogus charge so that they could try to find something he did after the fact. Cross dressers were definitely highly prejudiced against in that time period. His name was Clinton D Gatewood. It has his description including age. Weight, height and so on along the left. Up for bid is a lot of 10 old glass and/or crystal lamp parts. There are a few that has some rust spots and a few feel a little rough where the hole has been made. Starting my description with the 2nd picture: One piece measure approximately 4.5 in diameter x 2" and the other approximately 2 3/4" diameter by 2" Base or maybe wall mount with electrical cord measures approximately 4.5" tall and 3 3/4" diameter at the bottom(electrical components has not been tested) The mushroom like piece is about 4" tall and 6" diameter at the top and it has 10 holes for hanging prisms. These linen pieces belonged to my grandmother. I don't know who she got them from or when she got them. They are very colorful flowers in a circular pattern. They appear to be hand-stitched. VINTAGE HANDMADE CROSS STITCHED 3 PIECE DRESSER SET, FROM SPAIN 1950S EXCELLENT
This is a 3 piece vintage handmade dresser set. Cross stitch pattern and crotchet edges. The larger piece measures 17" by 12 1/2" with a butterfly at each end, the smaller ones measure 12 1/2 by 9" with a motif of flowers at one end. The color of the fabric is ecru and it is in perfect condition, no holes, stains, rips, etc. This set has been in my family in Spain(I was born in Madrid) since I can remember. They belonged to my aunt that passed away at the age of 82 in 1977. I inherited a chest full of linens, some I used, some I never did. This set in particular I never did but I am not sure if she did, although it looks too good to have been used. I am not an expert on vintage fabrics. Beautiful soft but crisp ivory linen. Hand embroidered with flowers, leaves and a border. Hand crochet trim. Excellent condition– spotless! One measures approximately 10 x 17” The other two measure approximately 8 x 10" All in all. In great condition for 1930s-1940s vintage linens and a beautiful vintage set!
