There are 5 carved open compartments for organizing and a hidden drawer that opens the full length of the desk with 4 divided sections inside. The center disposal is the original period velvet sack with a hanging cord attached to a lovely ivory pearl stone set within a bronze circular ring with designs. A walnut wood weight is attached. Hand wood carvings include 2 beautiful ladies protruding from sides of desk and removable cupid on the top that is attached to the lid that covers the compartment where the clock sits. The clock has 3 different hand designs and incased in bronze. The face is a natural cream ivory? porcelain with black Roman numerals. The face is aged with some hairlines but the numerals are bold without any color loss. The clock has 2 front legs and a weighted bronze pendulum that you can view from the photo. It does move side to side and I hear ticking but is in need of adjusting. The clock is original and fits perfect to view from a circular opening made for it within the desk. This all original desk is in very good condition without repairs. It is hard to believe there are only two tips missing from the delicate finials. Located on left side underneath the desk and on the right side bottom between the legs. You will need to really search in the pictures because they are very hard to find. It is very rare to find a set. How fortunate to have this elaborate matching chair with velvet padded seat in such wonderful condition. The carvings are amazing and please view the lion and the Fiorentino symbol on the back of the chair. In my 30 years of experience I have never seen a desk set like this. Dollhouse Stove 2.4 oz H 4 5/8 W 2.25 D 1 7/8 $75 minor chips to painted tin/brass door. Up for sale is an antique dollhouse stove circa 1900. Stove appears to be made of tin. Has a hollow center with a stove pipe flue on the reverse, and decorative latticework along the top and base. It measures approximately 4 5/8 inches tall, 2 1/4 inches wide, and 1 7/8 inches deep. Piece is unmarked. It is in great condition for age with minor flaking to the paint through out. The stove door is made of solid brass and has acquired a dark patina over time. This is a set of walnut Eastlake Furniture originally purchased and used in Botetourt County. Va. but an early family. It has remained in the county since purchased new. I am the third owner. I have included outside shots and indoor to show you how they would look inside. There is only one fabric flaw that is pictured and it looks repairable if you do not plan to reupholster them. There is no shipping on this, only local pickup but location is just off Interstate 81 and hwy 11 near Buchanan, Va. less than 2 miles from the exit. It measures approximately 48" wide x 17-1/2" tall. The top crown is 2-1/4" thick and the main body is 1-3/4" thick. Antique Victorian 3-piece furniture set
Antique Victorian three-piece set: settee. Gentleman's chair and ladies chair. Wood appears to be mahogany, finish is in good condition with some minor scratches here and there. Settee is upholstered in gold velour and is in good shape. Chairs are upholstered in a gold"brocade" with some fraying of the trim. The chairs need to be re-glued and the settee has a bottom support piece dislodged. It does not appear to interfere with the integrity of the piece, but it should probably be looked at by a professional. I believe the original horsehair stuffing is still inside the upholstered seats and backs, but not 100% sure of that. All pieces have their original wheels. 1800s Oak Cabinet Crest Victorian Buffet Pediment Furniture Rail Carved Spindles
Near MINT condition! Authentic. 19th century, furniture header. Solid oak construction. Nice carving at each end with 3 turned spindles closer to middle. Above each spindle is a cannonball finial. Even further toward the middle are double half spindles. The center has a diamond shaped, acanthus medallion with a dramatic, beveled arch above. The arch has 4 button medallions with another finial on top. That finial sits atop more acanthus carving. It also stands freely, upright, on its own if required.Overall, a splendid Victorian design. No breaks, repairs, or missing pieces. It measures approx. 38 5/8 inches by 9 1/8 inches. Many other salvaged architectural antiques listed. All questions encouraged and answered. Gorgeous Walnut Carved Wood Pediment Unusual"Star" Pediment. Beautiful carving through the whole pediment. Has been in my collection for over 20 years. Pediment looks fantastic over doors. Pictures, windows, as a statement piece, attached to furniture or even hanging upside down in a doorway. There are a few minor scratches and dark spots on the front with a small piece of wood missing but otherwise it is in great shape for it's age. Has a nice smooth sheen finish. Vintage Victorian Wrought Iron 3 Piece Garden Patio Furniture 2 Chairs & Table
This listing is for a very heavy and ornate wrought iron outdoor set that consists of 2 matching chairs and one wrought iron table that has a glass top. There is only minimal oxidation on the underside of the chairs-please see the pictures. There are no breaks in the highly decorative wrought iron and the set is very heavy so if you purchase. Bring someone strong to load the set. Each chair measures 21 inches by 20 inches by 31 inches high. The table measures 23 inches by 23 inches by approximately 28 inches high. The glass table top is in good condition with polished edges and some scratches on the top of the glass. Just as the underside of the chairs would benefit from being repainted, the rail that holds the glass should also be repainted.
