The marble is gorgeous with an ogee bevel edge. It is shaped to the shape of the solid hand carved rose decorated skirt that has a finial on each corner block. The whole top rests upon four multi turn spindle fancy carved legs with buttons and rosettes that are all joined together in the center with a bowl or finial type top. The white and gray grain marble top is in nice condition that has some slight discoloration that isn’t very noticeable. The table itself is in nice original condition. The overall size is 39 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 30.75 inches high. It has the original castors all intact. The table is tight and sturdy.

The chair has a lovely cross-stitch upholstery on the seat, and a nice padded, tufted velvet back. The fabric is very faded and is worn, particularly at the bottom of the back, and will most likely need to be redone. The seat is in good condition, with no holes or tears, however, there are some stains on it that may not clean out, and the fabric is a bit faded. There are some light surface scratches on the wood portions of the chair as well, but it is in over-all good condition, especially considering that it is most likely more than 100 years old.

MINT CONDITION! Original. 19th century, header. Solid walnut with fantastic patina. Classic Eastlake inscribed carving to left and right. The middle has 2 carved leaves with a classic Eastlake flower medallion. The medallion is in a horn style and VERY 3 dimensional in person. Above is a arched multi-layed cornice. Completely freestanding with numerous mounting holes if being used as backsplash. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer one than this beauty. No cracks, repairs, or missing pieces!
