Antique A&P Grocery Butcher Block Table 6 legs
This old butcher block is said to have come from an A&P market butcher shop. No longer around, here in upstate New York. It's solid throughout. Hardwood, but I do not know what kind; I have a faint recollection of someone telling me it's maple but I cannot be positive. It shows obvious wear from years of use in the butcher shop and has the signature'scoop' areas where the most use took place. The photos were taken only from the outward facing side of the block because it was impossible for me to move it in order to get varied views. It has six turned legs. Antique Walnut? Table With Octagonal Legs And One Drawer-Mid-1800s?
Offered is this antique wooden table with octagonal legs and one drawer. I believe it is made of walnut but I am not sure. The table stands approx. 29 1/4" high. The top is about 35 1/4" wide and 21 3/4" deep. The drawer is approx. 28" wide. The table is in very good condition for its age. Despite some age cracks. Everything is solid and well-connected. The piece was apparently well-used; there are numerous shallow marks. Dents, etc. on the top. This and the great patina give it a wonderful primitive look. It may have been used as a desk at one time as there is a dried up pool of ink still present in the drawer. The drawer. Although not dovetailed, has been nailed together by some very old-looking nails(see photo) There is a tiny spot of blue paint on the front but this is only about 1/2" long x 1/4" wide. The heavy Rock Maple slab top is constructed using bolted angle irons. The table is in very good vintage condition with a few minor issues: One of the legs has a heavy weld showing and also has broken tab at the foot. Two standard size side chairs can slide underneath on the ends with leafs down. With both leafs up it can seat 8 comfortably, 10 possible. They come with only 2 of the brackets that allow a flat install or a slanted install. There are a couple of scuffs- nothing that cant be sanded off-overall excellent for the vintage and pre-owned. 4 Vtg Mid Century Modern Tapered Coffee Table Legs 13.5" Dark Walnut Solid Wood
These were removed from a mid century table a really long time ago and just never used. They are about 13.5" long. They were stained dark walnut. There are a few blemishes/drips. They are solid wood. But I am not sure what type of wood. There is a hole in the top for the screw. Pair Mid-Century Modern Benches/Coffee Table 48" Iron Hairpin Legs Vintage
Pair of vintage 60's benches that may be put together to use as a coffee table or used individually as benches. Each is 48" long by 11 7/8" wide with the top board being 1 1/8" thick and clear wood. They stand 18 1/2" tall. The rod iron legs are over 3/8" thick but not quite 7/16" thick. Legs themselves stand 16 1/2" tall with the mounting braces measuring 4 7/8" long each way. Each leg is held on by 3 long screws. Each bench is missing a round rubber foot on a leg so there are 6 good legs and 2 that need something on them. Original owners just had a 1/4" piece of plywood nailed into what was left of the rubber foot but that was actually too thick. One of the legs had the mounting brace bent some but I straightened it up pretty decent with a hammer. If you just want the legs and not the boards ... moreshipping would be cheaper. Boards have finish wear.Some staining and a few small nicks. Staining actually looks like the varnish/shellac got damp and bled white. Antique Fancy Industrial Cast Iron Table/Work Bench Legs
This is an interesting pair of antique industrial cast iron work table or bench legs circa 1900. They were found with the original wooden connector bar. It is hardwood and has years of wear from feet resting on it.On the back of each leg there is a specially cast socket for the connector with a hole for screwing. To re-purpose these legs you could use or not use the connector or make a longer one to suit your concept.Each leg has an upwards curving cast iron support that is perpendicular to the leg and would add support towards the middle of your table top.Each leg measures approx. 22 7/8" high.
