The dimensions came from either measuring originals or from customers who wanted me to re-create their originals. Actually. When I started making these works I found that most of the plans on the market did not come out as shown on the picture that came with the plans, nor the originals. I'm happy to offer these plans to you in confidence that you will be re-creating the originals as they were made in the 1900's. A set of plans include a dimensional cut list. Full scale drawings of the views needed to re-create the piece, drawings of jigs needed, as well as step by step instructions and notes. Also included are instructions on how to re-create the finishing colors used during the Arts and Crafts Period. As well as a list of products and where to purchase them. This list includes where to buy norhtern quarter sawn white oak lumber, finishing products, authentic copper hardware and everything else you need to re-create these great works. Up in this auction is a fantatstic piece of Gustav Stickley. It is their# 55 three slot umbrella stand. Though we have also seen it called a walking stick or cane stand. It is depicted Straight out of the Arts& Crafts Mission era, it is pegged quatersawn oak. It measures approx. 21" x 12" x 29" tall. Note 33" tall to the top of the four peaks. It is missing its copper pan, but other than that in fantastic condition.
