It has been used as a family dining ... moreroom table since that time, and thus has a few very small nicks on the edges, and a few very tiny, shallow use indentations on the top. Custom pads(included but very worn because of age) have been used so it has been very well protected. The pedestal has vacuum marks that can be removed, and the pedestal bottom has a few minor shallow nicks, again from daily use. Very well cared for over all and presents well for its age, late 1800's- early 1900's. It is Solid Cherry, thus a very heavy piece. The top has a built-in fold-up mechanical extension that is manually released with a pull-pin on one end and rotates up to be opened out,the two halves of the table top slide to open and close for the process. The finish is natural cherry wood that has aged. It is NOT stained mahogany like so many of today's pieces. This is a true natural cherry finish. The top is 58.5 inches long x 40.5 inches wide without the extension open. Height of table is 30 inches The pedestal base overall footprint is 35.5 x 31 inches. Diameter of turned legs on base: 12 inches at widest turn. Side drop of table top: 3.25 inches Antique Pedestal dining tables in good condition do not come on the market that often! This is priced to sell because we are moving long distance, need to downsize and lighten the load. If you know anything about solid cherry furniture, you will know this is a great find.

Early 19th century French dressing table casket footed box gilded solid copper
For sale a beautiful footed jewelry box or casket from France circa 1830. It is heavy. Presumably copper that has been gilded. Over time the gilding has worn but showing the patina of age is always a desirable effect. Lined in velvet and trimmed on the inside(Upgraded) I have not seen the original lining but this one is ready for real use no need to re-line. This lovely old lamp is in remarkedly good condition. Belonged to my late Aunt ans was purchased in the 40s or perhaps earlier. It was made in Japan. As noted when we removed the base to check for markings. There is a floral mark, I can't identify it. The lampw stands 26 inches high. Sits on a metal base, has 2 sockets and it works. The body is cream colored and has floral and face designs as well as painted gold leaf trim. The cord is intact but old. Probably not the original. The metal may be brass. Hi there! You are looking at vintage steel typewriter table on swivel wooden casters. In dark green. This measures 18"wide x 14" deep x 26" high. It has a pullout shelf on the right side that measures 11" wide x 11-1/2" deep when pulled out. Some of the screws are not original. A few were missing when I purchased this table, so I went ahead and replaced them. Table is sturdy and in good, usable condition. May seem wobbly on a hard surface floor as the right front leg is slightly short. There is some minor surface rust in spots. Also, some dents and scratches, paint drips and splatters. Muller Frères Croismare: pair french Art Nouveau bronze table lamps- Pair of marvellous Art Nouveau table lamps from France around 1910. Tripod bronze bases with claw feet and handle. Two marvelous pate de verre(glass paste) lamp shades with yellow. Blue-green and orange mottling. As they are handmade one is a little smaller. They are signed G. V. de Croismare( G rande V errerie de Croismare) The brothers Eugène and Désiré Muller worked with Emile Gallé in Nancy. Around 1895 Eugène Muller began his own manufacture of art-glass in Croismare. Near Lunéville( Grande Verrerie de Croismare) and the brothers founded, around 1910, a glass manufacture in Lunéville. At this time the glassworks in Croismare were well-known. That is why the Muller brothers always kept the name“Grande Verrerie de Croismare” at ... moretheir catalogs. In Croismare Muller glass was produced till 1935. Both lamps have been professionally cleaned and polished and has been rewired with a three way(protective earth contact) twisted rayon covered cord. They have a B22 bayonet socket and a german Schuko plug. I will add two 3-prong adaptors for use in United States(or you can change the plugs) The lamp bases and the shades are in excellent condition. Darboy was a shop in Paris selling Decorative Arts during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco period. Some of their lamps and chandeliers were designed and produced by Charles Ranc with the signature of Darboy and this pair of nickel plated lamp bases are showing the typical ornaments and the style of Charles Ranc. David Guéron. Of turkish origin, was the founder of the"Cristalleries De Compiegne" and in 1926 he founded a new factory, which he called"Verrerie D'Art Degué" and put his full attention on the designing and production of Art Deco luxury art-glass(Degué being a shortened version of his name) The two clear and frosted lamp shades are made of pate de verre(glass paste) ... moreand are signed in the mould: Degué.
