I have been told that the chair is caned beneath the upholstery, but I have not seen it, and don’t want to damage the upholstery to find out. The dark stained finish on the chair is worn at the ends of the armrests from use. This is normal wear and gives the finish a nice patina. It is 36” tall, 30” deep at the rockers, 27.5” across the armrests, 18” wide across the seat, 19” deep at the seat, and about 19” tall at the seat. It is a beautiful rocking chair in great condition.

Vintage Child's Rocking Chair Collectible Furniture Home Room Nursery Decor
I have a very cute vintage child's rocking chair. This chair has a lot of potential. It measures about from the floor to seat 11" The seat 15 x 15, and floor to top of chair is 24" This chair is in used condition, shows signs of it's age and use. It does need some TLC. It might have it's original material under the fabric that is on it now I can see another fabric on the arms. The bottom or base of the rocker part has an issue it has to sit on it just right just push it to one side and it falls into place and does rock back and forth. Also the bottom has a piece of cardboard on it. I don't think that is original to it. The other thing I noticed it seems to sit back some. It does need a good cleaning and TLC. I am selling it as is. Up for consideration is a primitive old Antique Arrow-back rocker from the first half of the 19th century. It has good early paint with Pennsylvania style German Fraktur paint on the back of the top rail. The chair measures about 32 inches tall by 18 1/2 inches wide at it's widest point and rockers being 29 1/2 inches long. It has good honest wear and coloration. This is not the original paint however the paint does have some age. It comes directly from a good early estate here in the area. No visible repairs. Has a clear paper label under seat with date of May 1, 1913 referencing some government regulations regarding material used. The company headquarters moved to NY in 1925 from Kenosha WI. I have never seen another like this rocker. Possible part of the Simmons Lifetime Furniture Line of 1925. High end furniture made for Hotels. Clubs, Camps and Summer Cottages. An unusual one piece construction with no screws or bolts and advertised at the time as having“joints that never loosen” Seems like it is made of one piece of steel! This rocker is solid. This auction is for an old/antique rocking chair. It has been in my family for over 50 years. But no one has a deep attachment to it. I don't have any family members to ask about the origins, original purchase, etc. so my details are scant. The chair is made of wood and is in a cherry finish. The seat is split cleanly about 2" off the center(see photo) so it needs to be repaired. For auction is a vintage rocking chair with dark carved wood arms and accents. It appears to be the original fabric- it is a golden caramel color with shiny gold thread woven throughout. VINTAGE RARE CHILDS ROCKING CHAIR ACORN PATTERN
Up for auction is this vintage children's rocking chair. The chair is made of oak and is 25 1/2" tall by 20" long by 15 1/2" wide. Someone in time has put a cloth cushion over the original wicker seat of which appears to be in good condition. The back rest has a pattern of acorns and a vine like design. The finials have brass caps on them. It has had some old repairs made to it that should be redone. There are parts of it that are loose. Split and cracked and need to be glued. SEE PHOTOS) I have done no repairs to this chair. I have done some research on it and haven't found another like it, so I haven't any information as to the maker, style, or origin. Antique "Nursing" Rocking Chair c. 1905 - Original!
Perfect Gift for the"Mom-To-Be" You are bidding on an Antique. Original cane-bottom wood nursing rocker from the early 1900s. This chair has been in our family as long as my mother-in-law who was born in 1919 can remember. She remembers it from her early childhood days in Quogue, New York. This wonderful nursing rocker was constructed without arms so that a nursing mom could hold her baby in her arms and not be hampered by the obstruction of wooden chair arms. She was free to move the baby from side to side without repositioning herself on the chair. The chair is over 100 years old and still has the original finish and cane seat. It has been well cared for and used lovingly by at least 4 generations of mothers in our family. We are downsizing so it is time to pass this chair along so it can begin anew. The chair is rather small ... moreso it fits very nicely in a nursery or right by the mom's bed. It measures 33" high. The width of the seat is 17" and the seat is 14- 1/2" off the floor. Antique Child's Wood & Wicker Rocking Chair with Orig. Chair pads Solid built VG
Welcome! Antique Child's Wood& Wicker Rocking Chair with Orig. Chair pads& Paper trim VG About 1910 from what the family told me. I'm about 100 miles from Tulsa.Ok and just a bit further then that from OKC, OK. Little over 2 hours from Dallas, TX, same about to Arkansas. Beautiful child's rocker is 23 inches tall. 20& 1/2 inches widest measurement from arm to arm across. Bottom wood that forms the rocker is 21 inches long and has a width of 3/4 of an inch. Child's antique rocking chair's side width is 12& 1/2 inches measured along the tannish brown paper trim. About 2& 1/2 inches of thick paper trim is missing from one side. The other side has tears and I have tape holding it up to the chair for now. Back thick paper trim has no tears or repairs. Rocking chair has a red and green design at the top of ... morechair see photos. Chair pads are rust. Beige, tan and brown striped with red stitching going through out it. One black tie on upper pad has broken off. Wicker behind is great condition. There is a thick cushion seat that matches the lining fabric below it. Wicker very good all over. Has a nail missing off one leg the others are there so no problem. One nail is sticking out I didn't attempt fixing see photo. Some little wicker holding nails underneath are poking out a bit. Please note that most of our items are vintage. Antique or second hand and buyers should expect normal to light wear.
