This is a very old stool marked Pat May 6. 1873 underneath. The legs are ornate and made of cast iron. Where the seat attaches it read on the metal Geo.W Archer, Rochester N.Y. Pat May 6, 1873. The stool measures almost 19" tall and is 15.5" across the top. It looks like it was recovered at one time, then that removed to reveal the original cover. The inside of the top of the stool has STRAW in it. I did not want to remove this. It would probably be best to recover this leaving what is on there now underneath. Shipping will be calculated. Vintage Salesman Sample Piano Stool 9" Tall
I don't claim that this miniature piano stool is in mint condition but there is no discounting its charm or relative scarcity as a salesman sample! Mechanically it is fine and twirls appropriately(as any proper piano stool should! And its patina is great. With some signs of original paint showing through. But two of the legs have chips out of them, near the base(seen in second photo) There is a small spot of one paint on one leg(about 1/4"inch) and the stool is very dirty. I have not attempted to clean it or do anything to it as I am not an expert in these things. The diameter of the stool seat is 7"inches and it stands 9.25" inches tall.

Nice looking mahogany piano stool frame. What makes this stool real unique is the detailing to the legs and the finials. Have not come across one like this in a while. Old stool here. I would expect it dates to before 1900. The seat has obviously been re-cushioned at some point in the past. The stool has a great looking embroidered cushion top that is tacked on. Great design of flowers in a vase on it. Then has a green colored suede fabric on the sides of the cushion. No musty or mildew smell to the seat. The fabric ... moreis certainly dusty and needs a good cleaning. Beautiful mahogany frame with carved in Empire or Eastlake style designs. Four of the pressed on circular"doughnut" trim pieces are missing on the sides of the legs. See pics. The cast iron screw on the seat and the receiver on the base are intact and original. No repairs. I do not see a maker's mark on the frame or metal pieces. The stool is 19" tall(22.5" when screwed up all the way) By 17" across at widest part of the seat, and 17.5" across at the legs. Up for auction we have an Antique 1880's Eastlake Grollman Manufacturing Co. Chicago Swivel Adjustable Piano Organ Stool. This one is a beauty! I believe it has its original straw or horse hair stuffing. There is Tan& Brown strip plush fabric with Brown colored upholstery tacks on rectangle wood top. I’m not sure if the fabric is original or not. Line grooves going around the wooden sides. 3 ornate carved legs with round appliques on all the sides(one has a crack see pic) There is detailed carvings along with spindles on each leg. The wood I believe is Oak and is in BEAUTIFUL condition. With very minimal wear! Metal swivel base plate reads: GROLLMAN MFG CO CHICAGO. The bottom has the original fabric that is weaved for bottom strength. There is one missing wooden finial that appears at the top of each leg under the seat. Beautiful mahogany frame. The cast iron screw on the seat and the receiver on the base are intact and original. No repairs. I do not see a maker's mark on the frame or metal pieces. Antique High Back Piano Chair/Stool, Dark Wood Tone, Claw Feet with Glass Ball
This Vintage Piano Chair/Stool was found at an estate sale and is in very Good Condition. I believe the wood is Mahogany but not quite sure. At any rate the wood is solid. It has a round adjustable swivel seat that adjusts the height from approximately 20 1/2" to 24 1/2" The 14 1/2" diameter seat has a slight surface crack that actually adds to its Patina. The seat mechanism is very sturdy with a 3/4" threaded post. There is a small piece missing in the post mount(photo 12) which in no way hinders its operation. The markings on the Post Mount are W Holtzman& Sons Colum Buso. The Turnings on the back spindles and legs of this chair are superb, as is the curved top back rest with its intricate detailed design(photo 6) the chair back is fixed and does not swivel. The Glass Ball Feet are in good condition, but could use ... morea cleaning. The overall approximate dimensions of the chair are 15"W X 16"D X 37 3/4"H This Beautiful chair would make a great addition to someone's Piano. Or a very nice Accent Piece anywhere in the house. Six Piano Stool Claw Feet
Here for your consideration are 6 piano stool claw feet in very good condition. The glass balls of the feet show no cracks or chips although a couple appear to have acquired a bit of paint on their bottom. Three of the glass balls have a small manufactured flat spot on their bottom while three do not. They all measure 4 inches in length and have 3/4 inch openings for insertion of the piano stool legs. This listing is for an antique wood piano stool with claw and glass ball feet. The height is adjustable. When at the lowest. The stool is 19" high, and the seat is 14.5" across. The metal plate under the seat is marked: Tonk Chicago& New York. The stool swivels properly, no cracks or chips in the glass balls. The seat has finish wear, and there are several small nicks in the wood on the bottom rim. The holes in the metal plate under the seat were broken, and have been repaired. This can be seen in the last photo. Shipping is based on 20lbs, packed weight. Because of the package size, there is no international shipping.

You are bidding on the pictured antique Tonk Piano Stool with Swivel Seat and Twisted Iron Legs. It is in Very Good overall condition with some signs of wear and a nice original patina. The original wood seat has been professionally repaired on the bottom and there is a small piece of iron missing on the base. See pictures. It swivels from a height of 17 1/2" up to around 21" The seat does have a little wobble to it when swiveled up and it measures 14 1/2" in diameter. The twisted iron legs are in very good condition with no damage. It is marked on the base of the seat Tonk Chicago. Please use the pictures to determine it's exact condition including any wear.
