Antique Victorian Iron Wood Piano Stool. The cast iron legs are amazing with 3 ornate women's busts on the top and bottom of each one. It says patent 1873 see the picture very legible see pics. It is very sturdy for its age. But in great shape considering age. It looks like they may have replaced the seat top I'm not positive. It feels like it has horse hair stuffing or straw stuffing so I'm assuming that's original so the top may not have been replaced look at the pics make your own decisions. Rare Signed HD Bentley Antique Organ Stool Ornate Metal Legs Chicago Illinois DESCRIPTION: I have this rare H.D. Bentley Ornate Organ Stool from the H. D. Bentley Company from Chicago Illinois. Signed on seat plate. I would class this in very good to near excellent condition considering its age. This organ stool accompanied a very old Eastlake Style Pump Organ for years. It was boxed up and stored for decades thereafter. This stool measurements are approximately and as follows: Stool Seat: 13 inches by 13 inches This seat adjusts up and down on a turned screw like system raising and lowering the seat. The measurements at the lowest level is 13 inches by 20 inches and can be adjusted up from there. The seat is in very good condition and this stool is very well built. Seat is red and has a red balled fringe around it. It looks like one or two ... moreof the fringe balls may be missing but considering this may well date into the late 1800’s it is in my opinion in very good condition. Is the stool covering original? I do not know. If you look at the one picture of the side of the seat you will see an indent. That is because this stool was leaning against something. I am thinking in time it may come out as it is more of an indent from laying against it and not really damage in my view. H.D. MacKenzie-Childs Round Placemat - Attached To MY Upcycled Vintage Piano Stool
You are bidding on an authentic MacKenzie-Childs Round Courtly Check Placemat. It is Brand New(I removed the swing tag) I stuffed it as a cushion and attached to My Upcycled Vintage Piano Stool. The piano stool was missing the seat and the feet. So I took matters into my own hands and gave it a bit of a face lift. With some paint underneath, and washi tape. I added the placemat. Which as I said, I stuffed. Then I made the yo-yo flower on top and added leaves and a tassel. For the feet. I used some faux crystal beads, and some plumbing hardware(I think) Not sure what they are called. Stool is marked with my name"Forget-Me-Naught" So there is no confusion. However I did leave the original label on the placemat. I did NOT refinish the stool. Dull areas on the legs are original finish and not dirt. It is clean. But there may be marks ... moreon the wood. There are not scratches or cracks, but it does look like a vintage piece with normal wear. Stool is 14" tall or 16" if you include the cushion. The feet are approx. 11" apart. Diameter of cushion is approx. 14" Very heavy. Solid wood, strong enough to sit on. Cushion is attached permanently to the stool. Shipping will be actual cost. Kranich& Bach Empire Revival Victorian Brazilian Rosewood Parlor Grand Piano with Stool Not many Kranich& Bach pianos like this were made. Rare Art Case piece of furniture made sometime between 1885-1889 The beautiful piano is unique with original satin finish on the case. This wonderful instrument is a classic example of the heavy and bold carved rosewood of the Empire Revival influence popular in the late 19th Century of Victorian Style and was made between the 1870 to 1880s. It is Brazilian Rosewood and in great condition. Kranich& Bach rethought the standard piano action and improved it. Which gives it an elegant sound- rich warm mellow tone. All keys intact and working. The beautiful keys are creamy white in color have a great touch and a nice feel on the fingers. The original ivory keys were probably replaced in the late ... more40s to early 50s. Just by looking at the quality. The black keys are the original ebony keys. The strings were probably replaced at the same time as the keys. The music stand has intricate delicate cutwork. That will lay down flat with matching sides. There is a lock. But no key. The legs were probably contracted out to be made by someone else. Maybe Kimel and Cabus due to the lines and large rosettes on each leg or Thomas Brooks of Cincinnati who made similar rosettes and lines. The harp is painted gold and still shows a faint hand painted scroll pattern on the sides of the bars. This piano is unusual in size as most grand pianos of this era were at least 6'4" in length. the baby grand sizes didn't become popular until well after the turn-of-the-century. Part of the unique charm of this piano is that it has a very bold and masculine appearance. Yet is rather small in actual size. This piano measures 71" 5'11" from front to back. Nearly 6' It is 54 1/2" wide. When the lid is closed it is 39 1/4" tall. The original bench was not available when we purchased the piano. The bench pictured is included. Antique High-Back DARK WOOD PIANO Stool Early 1900's Glass Ball Claw Feet
This is a beautiful. Antique piano/organ high back adjustable stool with glass ball claw feet. The stool seat is adjustable from a low of 18 inches from the floor to over 21 inches. It features hand carved scrolling on the top of the seat back, which is evident because its not perfectly semetrical. From floor to top of the seat back is 36 inches and the back support is 16 inches across with an arched curve for comfort. There are decorative turns on all the legs and horizontal supports and each leg as well as the center stem are fluted. Not sure what the wood is, maybe walnut or maple, but it has grain and its stained a medium brown in color. A very nice old piece. On Sep-22-14 at 22:10:44 PDT. The base is about 17" leg to leg& 16 1/2" tall with a 10" diameter at the top. The worm gear won't turn& the cast iron top bracket is loose from the shaft causing a wobble& as in the picture. One of the 4 screw holes is broke& bracket has been moved about a 1/4 turn. The seat is 14 1/2" in diameter& 1 1/2" thick. There are 2 bad spots on the bottom of the seat at the edge as in the pictures& 1 chip on the under side of the base where the leg spindle meets the center. This came from an estate sale. Outward apperance of the stool is good& with a little TLC it would be a nice piece of furniture.

The design of this example is just that much nicer than most others- it has a fluted center pedestal section with matching fluted splayed legs- cast iron claw feet/Eagle Talon Claws with glass ball centers. A very nice working Schultz Cabinet Grand Upright Piano. I was told by someone who plays that it has a very nice sound. I am not a expert on old pianos. I provide photos and information. I was told by two different sources that the serial number is either from 1905 or 1908. The wood is in very nice condition except for the very bottom of the right foot base where it was damaged by chewing from a animal. The scratches are less then 1/8" deep. I beleive it could be repaired without much effort or expense. See second to the last photo. Also if you notice the last photo shows the keyboard cover with the name Schulz. Not Schultz. Antique Organ Stool Piano Stool Adjustable Wood (111418-10)
Stool seat is 12x12" Lowest height is 17" I adjusted it up to 19" and it started to get woobly. I didn't go any further. There are 2 cracks across the seat. That have been there for many years. Please see pix for more on condition. Nice old piece. Almost all of my items are from 30 to 150 years old. They will not look new. They will. Most likely, have paint loss, rust, dust and/or everyday wear on them. Please keep this in mind before you bid.
