Top piece missing. There are some glass jars we found with it you can have too. There's the typical age with patina from the years. The Exhibition reproducer has been rebuilt and tuned for a crisp and clear sound. The oak cabinet has a very nice and even finish with very few signs of wear. The large brass bell horn measures 16.5" across the bell by 27" in overall length. The horn elbow. Crank, and tone arm are fully functional and accurate reproductions to the originals. Sometime in the past the horn was painted evenly, and a functional lock and key have been installed on the front of the cabinet to lock ... morethe motorboard. The original bullet brake is missing and can be found on eBay or through other online phonograph supply websites. Beautiful Antique New York Original Tag R J Horner Carved Oak Sideboard Base
Here is an absolutely fabulous 19th century RJ HORNER New York USA made sideboard buffet base. You can see a couple of hole on top at the back where a mirrored top was probably attached. I bought this as a base only and had it refinished over 30 years ago-it was a dark mess and the wood grain wasn't visible otherwise I would have left it original. I wanted to see the glorious oak grain and everyone that has seen it over the decades has mentioned what an awesome piece it is. The carving is magnificent-hairy feet. Faces, florals-fantastic quality. The drawer in the center are still there. This over 100 year old beauty is not without flaws, there is one scuff and a couple of scratches on the top-tried to photograph in photo 11. The bottom drawer sticks out-since last move 25 years ago. The nose of a center face has been flattened somewhat-again-with ... morelast move. One handle on left drawer is not rounded-may have had a piece off-has been that way since I bought it over 30 years ago. There is some minor denting around key locks-no key available. There may be another flaw,but I don't see them-but again this is way over 100 years old. The back is fully intact-solid. This baby weighs a ton-built to last forever. Neat Older Oak 3 Drawer Chest Bedside Stand With Barley Twist Legs From England
This auction is for a very neat and unique older three(3) drawer Oak Chest with Barley Twist Legs from England. It is a very neat size that could also be used as a bedside stand or chest. It has a pretty double beveled edge solid oak top with a neat backsplash across the back. It has recessed panel sides and stands off the floor on pretty Barley Twist Legs. It has side& back stretchers for added stability. It has"dovetailed joints" on all of the drawers. It's very stable& study and will hold up to everyday use for another 100 years or so. The top is 24 5/8" wide. 173/4" deep and it's 31" tall to the table top and 35 1/8" tall to the top of the backsplash. It stands about 10 3/4" off the floor. The top& middle drawer are both 18 7/8" X 14 1/2" and 4 1/4" deep. The bottom ... moredrawer is 18 7/8" X 14 1/4" and 5 1/4" deep. The top is in good to good condition without any burns or water rings/marks and has some very pretty oak wood grains showing through. It does have a gouge in the top near the backsplash. See pictures below. It's in overall good condition with a few dings, scrtches& blemishes but none that take anything away from this cabinet. The drawer pulls are not original to the chest. The backsplash will be removed for packaging& shipping and the buyer will have to re-attach it when unpackaged. There are 3 screws that hold the backsplash to the top. Hello: As found fresh from the Estate of an Elderly Lady school teacher. 19th Century Blickensderfer Model No.7 American Typewriter Complete with Oak Case. I know very little about typewriters. But I'll tell you what I do know. It is as found and appears to be complete. It will probably need a good cleaning and some oil. The keys all work and the carriage goes back and forth. It's not perfect but appears to be in pretty good condition for its age. Overall dimensions are 13 1/8" wide. x 10 3/4" x 5 3/4" high. The lid fits on nice and snug and both latches work good. C. 1920 Double-Tapped Crystal Radio in Quarter Sawn Oak Cabinet w/Brass Detector

Mechanical and technical collectibles this week, and I'm sure you'll find at least one item that interests you. Here's a beautifully crafted crystal radio built in the early 1920's. The radio has an early brass and glass crystal detector. And it's housed in a quarter-sawn oak cabinet with tongue-in-groove joints. As you can see in the photos. It's in excellent condition throughout, with no damage or distress anywhere. Excellent original finish, with very little wear evident. Detector is complete, and the glass housing is not cracked or chipped. Tap switches move easily. No missing binding post nuts. Nice original coil with multiple leads running to the contacts. Comes with a good(ie, working) ... moreheadset. An ancient and very cool looking crystal set. That's about it. I will pack everything carefully and properly. And I can assure you that it will show up at your doorstep in the same fine condition in which its leaves mine. Edison Green Oak Standard A Phonograph Lower Case w/ Bedplate Frame & Hardware
As pictured; picture makes the decal look a bit better than it is. But it may just be my camera and the dirt on the case. It is dirty and as found and as pictured with original finish and decal; decent tiger flame oak. The lid that came with the case which I have listed in another separate auction was screwed to the bedplate frame from it's underside. And the bedplate frame is broken at the rear joints and is coming apart at the front joints; I have the one big chip on the upper rear left corner as pictured, but no others. Very fixable. And should clean up to be presentable; it is relatively solid now, but depending on how picky you are, you may want to shoot some glue in the joints or other restoration.I leave that up to the buyer. This will be packed well for shipment.
