Circa 1790 Item# 130002IRP01 This is a wonderful English Chippendale ... morePeriod Carved Ball and Claw Foot Antique Game Table. Late 18th Century c. 1790. It is a piece upon which no expense was spared in the production. As every design embellishment commonly associated with the period was executed on this piece. The mahogany top has a nailed quarter-round rim applied on both levels, opening on original brass hinges and untouched screws to reveal a replaced felt surface bordered by mahogany. It projects softly over the frame. This being covered in vertically grained mahogany veneers not just on the front and on the sides, but also along the entire back. This added expense of finishing the back leg surfaces and adding the thick veneers is typically superfluous and considered unnecessary, as the table would remain against the wall- this detail certainly hints this was a commissioned piece for a home of means. The frame is dovetailed pine, as evident when opening the rear gating-leg, the drawer blades likewise dovetailed on either side as they stretch horizontally beneath and above the drawer. The facade of the table has a single broad drawer in the center. The edges framed in tacked cockbead molding(absent on the right side) around the dovetailed oak secondary woods, the bottom crafted of five untouched oak boards nailed perpendicular to the face. The cast brass bail pull handle is absolutely gorgeous, an entirely original and entirely hand forged work of art still retaining it's original backplates, pins and nuts. The underside of the apron has applied gadrooned molding. Nailed every few inches from beneath with short iron nails, carved to match up with the outward flowing acanthus scrolls of the knee returns. The workmanship in the carved knees is exacting, the crisp flowing rococo lines simply sprawling over the sharp knees and down the leg as a natural outgrowth from the gadrooning. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ART NOUVEAU OAK LEAF ACORN SILVERPLATED JEWELRY CASKET BOX
Description For your consideration is this antique Victorian era metal jewelry casket or box with green silk lining. The maker is unknown as the only mark is the number 131 on the bottom indicating the design pattern and shape. It is probably made of pot metal that is possibly silverplated. The Art Nouveau style dates this piece to the late 1800's to early 1900's. The box measures 4" long. 2 1/4" wide and 2 1/2" high. It is very difficult to find these with any of the original silk lining. The lid lining has a few small tears and most of the bottom lining is crumbling and missing. The hinge works perfectly. There is a nice patina and also some plate loss consistent with age. This lovely jewelry box displays beautifully and would make a fantastic addition to any collection or decor. Matching pair of ornate. Architectural, salvaged panels, just dying for a little imagination. Solid, quarter sawn oak construction. Square nails mean most likely circa 1865-1885. Starting from the bottom, you have bevelled baseboard trim. Then is a recessed bevelled panel with fluted side columns. Near the top are small carved columns flanking a spoon carved Eastlake panel. Additional Eastlake flowers at top corners with a bevelled arch in between. Some wear/dings but no breaks, missing pieces or repairs. Slight finish imperfections but excellent overall condition. This listing is for the nice quack medical device in an oak case that is pictured for you; I believe it is complete but I cannot guarantee that. There is no indication on the label as to the maker or what the device was originally called so I have nothing to compare my device with to verify that it is complete. However. The directions label is in excellent condition and details the different ways the device could be applied to the user. It is contained in a nice oak cabinet with machine dovetailing, metal handle and metal latches. The piece is a nice conversation piece and a reminder of how gullible people once were regarding cures for sickness. The cabinet is 10 3/4" wide by 7 3/4" deep and 9" high and weighs 12# I have pictured the cabinet several times so you can see how the piece is assembled and how it displays. The front ... moreof the drawer containing the battery is quarter sawn oak; the remainder of the cabinet is simply regular cut oak. The lid has a storage box that the individual pieces are stored in when the device was not being used. The battery drawer pulls out from the front after you remove the two brass nuts that hold it in place. The wire leads have tags on them that are labeled either"copper" or"zinc" indicating where they were to be attached. Estimated shipping weight will be 15# and the shipping cost is based on that weight. This cabinet was purchased many years ago at a doctor's estate sale in Houlton. ME. It is very beautiful. Please note there is a very thin crack in the wood on the back of the door as shown in the pictures. There is also a slight crackling in the top mirror at the left as it is aged. Solid oak dining room set with intricate wood grain veneer on the front and back of each chair as well as the table's base. Six chairs total. With all parts intact and ready to use. This is a 4 string Dulcimer musical instrument made for lap playing either with fingers or a bow. This is missing 1 string& I will try to get one a music store. It is about 29" long& 6 1/2" at the widest& almost 2 1/2" wide including the throat piece. It is made of oak& walnut& in good condition. I found it at an estate sale.

Vintage Antique Oak Wall Mount Telephone All Original Near Mint
Antique vintage Western Electric oak wall telephone. 100% complete. Never worked on or changed in any way. Original finish which is almost perfect as far as I see. Nothing is missing or broken. The bell rings fine. This is the best example I have ever seen. No apology for this one. Telephone dimensions are: 20 1/2 in length. 9 1/4 in width, 10 1/2 in depth. Pictures are part of the description. Look closely. The plate identifies the telephone as 323BW made January 14. 1913. The subscriber's set is known as a 1317-P telephone when corded and equipped with transmitter and receiver. Wiring diagram and instructions are located on the inside of the door and are very legible. Not all oak cabinets are created equally.this is one of the best tiger stripe cabinets that I have ever seen. And most of the cabinets are missing lots of the veneer.this one is over 100% intact with just a thumb sized piece missing. And I believe this is an origianl finish. Amazing to find in this color and condition. There is record storage cabinet also in excellent original condition. Has the original decal too. Plays great and I will include records. Here is a nice American Bell ringer box from the early 1900's. Looks to be complete with all original hardware. However, I am not a vintage phone expert. I do not know if it actually works.
