This is a stunning gothic wooden oak corbel of the head of the green man of which: During our research we have been informed it dates from the gothic period of the 18th century and is of black forest origin. Carved in the oak with the relief carving of the head of the green man. Relief carved. Has a museum number to the rear. Has an overall size of about 4.75 x 2.5inches. Max overall depth of about 2.25inches. Condition: Considering the age. The overall condition is excellent and is without any blemishes except minor chipping to the edges. All as per pictures. These are very nice very expensive sconces for your home. They are brass and oak. They were handcrafted by Copper Craft. They have very delicate globes that go in the sconce. They are approx. 35 years old and the brass is as beautiful. As it was 35 years ago. The oak piece is 9 1/4 inches long. The brass candle holder is 10 1/2 inches long. When these were purchased years ago thery were probably $75.00 for the pair. This is high quality home decoration.

RARE 1905 Series of 5 Scottish Botanicals Schoolroom Charts In Oak Cabinet
WONDERFUL SERIES OF WALL SIZED SCOTTISH BOTANICALS Fresh from an upstate New York estate! This offering is for FIVE"W.A.K. Johnston's Botany Sheets for Beginners" schoolroom charts as found in an oak spring roller display cabinet. The oak cabinet is 40" long. 14 1/2" high and 5" deep. There is an old split in the right front panel. There are two old large screw eyes at the top of the cabinet for hanging and a hook and eye on the right side. I presume there was one on the left as well but it is no longer there) The front is hinged at the bottom with two heavy steel hinges in such a fashion that the front drops down to reveal the six spring rollers within. The front has a brass face plate for a lock. I do not have the key to the lock. The finish on the cabinet is as found- it is dull. Dark and old. Each of the rollers ... moreare 36" long. The rollers are marked" Hartshorn's Improved Self-acting Shade Roller. 1 inch roller" with a most recent patent date of 1901. There is also instructions for"repairing" the rollers should they get stuck. The rollers can be removed from the cabinet by turning two screw eye type keys on the right side of the cabinet. Each chart has a dowel rod at the bottom with an attached metal tab for pulling it down. The rollers are still remarkably functional. They pull and retract but I have been very careful as to not damage the botanicals. The chromolithograph botanicals have a printed area of 34 1/4" wide by 27" long if you include the bottom descriptive letterpress. They are cloth backed. At the bottom of the botanical it is noted. Drawn on stone& printed in colours by W.A.K. Johnston, Edinburgh and London. Entered in Stationers' Hall All Rights Reserved. At the top it states"by Alexander Johnstone. F.G.S. Antique Child Doll Stroller Carriage Buggy Goat Cart in Oak and Metal MINT
You are bidding on a unique carriage. Buggy or cart for a child or doll that is Victorian or Edwardian in style. The carriage is in excellent shape. The carriage is made of wood(oak) and iron. It has two adorable red spoke wheels and a decorative oak handle with interesting lines that also folds and has a locking system. The seats and cushion are also in red with gold trim. The seat has a leather strap with a picture of a young child and the seat itself has a reversible back so the child can sit facing either way. The cushion on the seat says" E-Z Go" in gold letters. Comes with base and top, it is all original, at some point in it's history someone put three additional glass shelves in it. It stands 64-3/4 inches tall, it is 34 inches wide and is 11-1/2 inches deep. These are outside measurements. The bottom cabinet is 16 inches tall and the other three are 13 inches tall. There are a few minor scratches here and there that would cover up nicely with a little stain. No damage and in working useable condition. Beautiful early Beckwith piano-Upright Grand model-with rare matching bench. Very nice action; plays really well. It has ivory keys; several key tops have popped off. But I have most of them, and they just need to be glued back on. There are some scratches and one place where about an inch square of the veneer has popped off. The bench lid yawns a bit, and one of the legs of the bench was gnawed on a bit by a granddog. I am the third owner of this piano. It has not been played a lot, which is possibly why the action is so good. It has been stored for 3 years in a semi-controlled environment-no air conditioning, but good ventilation. I just don't have room for it in my house, which is the only reason I'm selling it. A similar piano(same model, same quarter-sawn oak, but with no bench, completely restored, sold recently for $11,000.00. ... moreThis would require restoration to command that price, but it would certainly be a candidate for a full restoration. Vintage but probably antique. Child's Oak wooden chair with arms. It is 23" tall and 14" wide. The sitting area is 12" across and 10" deep. It is in very good vintage condition. I don't see any areas that looks like it was repaired. No cracks in the wood. It comes from a collector's estate and he lived in Texas all his life. That's all I know about it. This is a wonderful antique mission/craftsman oak dresser with mirror for sale. Original wooden roller feet. And mirror is original. Since this is an old piece, the mirror has expected aging to the silvering. Overall the piece is solid and in good condition for its age with only minor scratches to the finish. The drawers open and close and piece is very sturdy. One minor issue with one side of the piece. Near the bottom of the dresser on the right side(as you face the dresser) are a few minor nicks where the original wood has chipped away. Instead of trying to match a stain to the piece, that area was left alone. Also, that same area has a slight bow in the veneer- which is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. This group of 1880s-90s picture frames were most likely designed to accommodate portrait cabinet card photographs. The H-form Victorian aesthetic example in natural oak wood finish gesso and bronze gilt measures 12 ½” x 6 ¾” overall; 5 ½” x 3 ¾” reveal and accommodates an image 5 7/8” x 4” The H-form wood finished gesso with rust colored inner velvet liner measures 9 7/8” x 6” overall; 5 3/8” x 3 ¾” and presumably holds a 6” x 4” cabinet card; the original paste board back with twist wire easel support is brittle so we chose not to remove it. The lemon gold and gilt gesso open work frame with replaced easel support back measures 8 ½” x 6 ¼” overall; 6 5/8” x 4 3/8” reveal; 6 7/8” x 4 5/8” back opening. Victorian Brass Banded Oak Lidded Barrel
This is a gorgeous Victorian oak lidded barrel banded with rings of brass. It stands 24.5cm in height. Once it had some form of filial but alas no longer. The barrel lid sits on top of the barrel now rather than fitting securely- likely the result of expansion in the slats of the barrel. It has a great patina and is a wonderful quirky decorative item.
