The top is 72 inches(6 foot) by 44 inches. Unlike most drafting table tops. This one is not full of pin holes or scratches. The top is very smooth and in great condition which is pretty rare. I've had this at least 15 years and used it with a white masonite protector over the top. There are some water stains on the top. One of the oak side caps has a small saw notch in it. The light has very good paint and works OK. The right hand Vemco 4100/30 drafting machine is in very good condtion. A few chips in the paint. It is a 30" machine which is an appropiate size for this board. I am not including any scales, they are availabe on Ebay. The stool has alot of paint worn off on the steel legs. It is the Fred Flintstone stool. Used to have a pad on top. The stool is the right height for most people who would use this table. The bottom of the drafting table is oak and is complete. I had to take parts from another table to complete the hardware on this one. There is one crack which was repaired on one of the leg braces as you can see in the pictures. Glue squeezed out from the crack wh ich is the line you see. The table tilts and can be raised or lowered. To ship this would mean crating it and unfortunately there is no inexpensive way to do this. Antique Wicker Table, Oak Table Top, Nice Condition - Sturdy
This is a beautiful wicker table. The table measures 36" W x 20" D x 29" H. The table weighs 23 pounds before packaging. The top is made of tongue and grove oak boards which are stained in a walnut stain with a coat of linseed oil. I know this because I refinished the top. I found this table at an estate sale. The top was shamefully covered with 1970's fake paneling. I removed the paneling. Sanded the glue and applied 2 coats of walnut(oil based) stain to it. I also applied one coat of linseed oil. There are many tiny finish nail holes on the top of the table from the paneling. The rim of the table and the feet were painted. Not sure if it is the original color or not. But I did not want to disturb the paint. The wicker apron, side legs and cross rail are in remarkable shape. Up for auction is this awesome solid tiger oak buffet in excellent original finish. The mirror supports are graced with fearsome lions heads as are the front legs which taper down into paw feet. I has all the original hardware as well as the beveled glass mirror. There is some rippling on the side panels which is hard to notice unless you get up close and personal. There is also a repair on the third middle drawer. None of these minor flaws affect the overall grace and value of this stunning piece. Additional picturea are available upon request. The wheels have been replaced at some point in its life(see photos) It has solid oak arms, a wide solid wood seat, and a tall spindled back, with a solid quarter sawn oak top. Wonderful Old Beadboard Oak Door with hindges knob From Mansion Attic
From an 1875 mansion I am not sure they more than likely were from 1875 as the whole attic was paneled in the same oak wainscoat which I hope to purchase at a later date. Heavy is not the word painted a greenish blueish washed color. Oak beadboard wainscot measures 71-3/4" tall x 3/4" depth x almost 20-3/4" wide. Has a dog leash hanging on it as I had so many to list this is the one for this auction. Original knob on one side no no knob on other side but both sides original door box lock. The master lock is on and needs cut off kept it on the other lock item is on it. Look at those wicked square top nails.Two door hinges and long door hinge on one side. Oak Dining Set, Heavily Carved, European French Country-china/sideboard/table
First off. We are not furniture dealers. This beautiful antique dining room set has graced our home for over 20 years. Time goes by and we are downsizing, so it's important to us that this set end up with someone who will appreciate its beauty and respect its workmanship as much as we do. We bought this set as a favor to a friend. We do not know how old it is or where it was manufactured. Dealers selling similar pieces on Ebay have used the description Vintage French Country. What we do know is that each piece is very well built. It's all tongue and groove. The only hardware in the whole set are the hinges. Handles and lock mechanisms on the sideboard and the china, and those are all solid brass. We also have two very decorative brass keys that fit all the locks. This set is solid oak with a medium finish. The parquet tops on the ... moresideboard and the dining room table are solid. Not veneer. The set is heavily carved. Each piece has gorgeous detail. The legs of each piece are curved with carved detail. Pictures do not do this set justice. It is large. Bold and just gorgeous. The flaws mentioned are mostly hardly noticeable. We mention the bumps and bruises so that somebody is not expecting a flawless set, however we highly encourage personal inspection of these items to see exactly for yourself. These items are in generally good condition with wear and tear consistent with its age. Recently while selling an antique coffee table we had, a gentleman that has been in the business, mention that this set was probably made between the 1930's and 1950. Penn Antique Restoration. 32"x83"x1.75" Antique French Door w/10 Beveled Glass Lites. Strong. Elegant. Antique, French door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door has a solid oak core covered with 1/16" thick, oak veneers, and has a less common arrangement of 10, true-divided, beveled glass lites. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/16" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood. Please email us for a quote. Condition: The door has several spots ... morewhere the veneer is loose or missing. The loose veneer is easy to re-secure. And filling in the empty spots with filler or any veneer would be simple and inexpensive. However, that would make the door only suitable to repaint. If you would like to refinish the door, filling in the empty spots with veneer that would match the existing, surrounding veneer will be more challenging, and more costly. We could make the repairs either way- email us for a quote. Aside from the veneer issues. The door is strong, sturdy, and only has the typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on a 100-year old door. However, there are no structural problems. All of the glass is intact and is in good condition with only subtle scratches. Refinish/Repaint: We could refinish. The door has a solid pine core with a 1/4" thick riftsawn oak veneer. The door has 1 fancy raised panel and 1 window. There is no glass installed. Unfortunately. We do not have any old glass this size, however, we could order a new glass lite(i.e. beveled, tempered, leaded, stained, etc. and install it- email us for a quote. Hardware: The door is currently not equipped with any hardware. However. W e have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store. And tons more in our physical store. There is a strip ... moreof wood missing from the top of the hinge stile. There are a few small chips next to the lock housing. There is a loose strip of wood on the bottom of the hinge stile. A piece of veneer is chipped on the bottom of the lock stile. On the interior, the top corner of the hinge stile is chipped. The bottom corner of the lock stile is chipped. Otherwise. The door is strong, sturdy, and in great shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Quirks& Considerations: The left and bottom sides of the panel on the exterior side are missing. We could make and install new ones using antique oak-email us for a quote. 30"x83" Antique Ash Oak Wood Wooden Interior Swinging Door 6 Flat Panel Hardware
Penn Antique Restoration. 30"x83" Antique Ash Swinging Door w/6 Flat Panels. A ntique. Interior, swinging door salvaged from an old home in Southeastern Minnesota. The door has a solid, ash core covered with 1/16" thick, ash veneers. Ash is a hardwood that looks very similar to Oak. The door is finished on one side and painted on the other. There are 6, horizontal, recessed panels on both sides of the door. Also, please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are almost 1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. There are globs of dried paint stripper on the painted side of the door. And some of the globs on the lower portion have some mold. The globs are not positioned in a logical pattern, and they seem ... morelike the got onto the door by accident. The globs and mold are very easy to remove, and pose no threat to the door whatsoever; we only mentioned this to you so there is no confusion about what the dark spots are. Hardware: The door is equipped with a spring-loaded. Double-action, floor-mounted hinge in the lower, hinge stile corner, and a pivot hinge in the upper corner. The spring-loaded hinge is functional. But whether or not the spring is strong enough to swing the door back and forth will be unknown until installed. There are no push plates or pulls/handles, but we have some in our eBay store. If you would like any of the hinges removed. And their holes plugged with solid wood, please email us for a quote. Condition: There is a 9" crack in the veneer of the top rail. On the finished side. Penn Antique Restoration. 60"x 95" Pair Antique Exterior Oak Doors w/ Large Glass Lites. Gorgeous pair of antique. Exterior doors, salvaged from a historic home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Each door is made of solid oak and has 1 large glass lite. If you are wondering why the doors are so thick: they are made of"double laminate" construction. Which is essentially 2 doors put together to form 1 door. This not only makes the doors stronger, and more secure, but also, better for insulation and increases their resistance towards warping. The beautiful decorative pattern on the glass is not actually etched but contact paper. Hardware: The doors are currently not equipped with any hardware. However. The etched paper is peeling from the bottom of the glass. On the other door. A piece of molding around the glass is broken. The corner of the panel below the glass is chipped. There is a small gap between the panel and the lock stile. Some parts of the astragal are chipped and scratched. Otherwise. These doors are in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process, or disguised after a fresh coat of paint. Carved Oak 1890 French Antique Collector Cabinet or Jewelry Chest. Hand carved in France of solid oak about 1890. This wonderful collector cabinet or jewelry chest has seven tiny drawers and a cabinet with shelves above. Hand carved details are charming. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and every piece is hand planed. The original finish is very well preserved, waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its antique patina. Brass hardware is original.
