RARE ARTS& CRAFTS MISSION OAK GAMES TABLE WITH STORAGE COMPARTMENT CONTAINING STOOL-FINELY ACCENTED COPPER HINGES With our compliments we are delighted to offer you this fascinating Arts& Crafts Mission Oak Game Table with storage compartment housing stool. We want to start this listing by saying we have handled a lot of arts& crafts& mission oak pieces in our collective careers but none of us have ever seen a piece like this before. There are no labels or brands on it. We find this odd for such a high quality and ingenious piece. Be that as it may. This wonderful game table is adorned by super copper hinges& escutcheon with hand made iron rivets. It has a front compartment with an intact lock(it came to us without the key) that houses a cute little copper topped splayed stool fastened with a dozen iron hand hammered rivets ... morematching the ones on the hinges and escutcheon. The entire game table and stool are made from solid quartersawn(tiger) oak in a super original finish. The stool has flared ends and on the other side two storage compartments. One has three small shelves with doweled backs to hold decks of cards, chess or checkers pieces. The other compartment has 9" wide and 15" tall recessed cavity with retaining bar designed to hold a game board. This exceptionally fine game table has a swivel top with a concealed storage compartment and each of its four sides have three decorative grooves in them. The green felt on the inside of the game table is a bit worn but it will last a while longer. The base has original brass caster pivoting wheels in a protruding ball like oak housing. Please excuse the table leaning a bit in our pictures. That was our placing it on an unlevel piece of our parking lots pavement and no doubt did not level it in the camera's view finding devices. This Mission rte& Crafts era table is 12" across and 17" high. It is in classic Mission style and it from the period- 1910-1920. It came from an estate in Warwick NY that was mainly furnished with Mission pieces both signed and unsigned. This is unsigned. It may have been refinished or re-stained at some point in its history as the stain looks dark to me and I can see it on the underside. Which I have shown. Running condition. It is quite old and made circa 1908. It is becoming very hard to find these clocks in such great condition! It has a signed Sessions Mfg. Co. 8-day time and strike movement” which chimes on the half-hour. And counts the hours on the hour on a cathedral gong. The movement runs very well and keeps good time. DESCRIPTION: I’m offering today an Art Deco Mission Oak Design Vintage Coffee or Tea Tray with Tiny Needlework of Fruit under glass. This lovely elongated tea or coffee tray is reminiscent of Art Deco Mission Style. The heavy wood is oak which was most popular during the art deco era. The wood has the beautiful tiger lines running through the stunning elongated shape. In the center of the tray an artist meticulously completed the fruit design with tiny needlework. It looks like petit point to me. But I'm not very good with the different needlework names. The fruit design is covered with the original glass for protection. The photos make the fabric appear to have darker stains than the actual fabric. They are faint spots on the actual fabric. Each end has mission style handles for easy moving from table to table. They look brass to me. ... moreBut have aged beautifully giving the piece a true Vintage look. Obviously this is a reproduction, but will fit in well with any of your Art Deco Mission pieces. The back side has a simple wire going across the tray for hanging to the wall if you so desire to use it in this manner. But you have either option to enjoy this wonderful piece. They are made of oak in the Mission style with leather upholstery. They measure about 35" wide and in the upright position are 41" deep and 39" tall. I acquired them new from the Stickley factory in 2000. I was able to have the leather custom done in an oak-like color. Each chair has a headrest of the same material. The arms have an elegant bowed profile. One leg on each chair is marked"Stickley" with a plate labeled"Stickley- Handmade- Manlius. I love this piece but have no room for it. Its very clean. Has been refinished, but the restoration was well done. The mirror is original with some shadowing. Mission Oak Style Foot Stool, Newly Crafted, Quartersawn Oak, Brown Leatherette
Made by me. An old retired guy with not much else to do. Made of quarter sawn red oak, all glued and dowelled, no screws or nails. The only screws hold the padded top to the frame. The stool measures 10-1/4" by 13-1/4" and stands 9" tall. Stained with medium golden oak and finished in a tobacco brown pebble finish leatherette. USA sales only. These pulls are true mission in the sense that the sides are not angled or tapered out at the sides but are straight up and down 90 degree vertical on the edges. Most of this style in oak pulls are sloped outward on the side corners. The dove tail drawer fronts are nice and in excellent undamaged condition. This is a beautiful file cabinet in the mission style. It has some scratches and some splits in the wood. All the drawers open and close nicely. MISSION OAK ANTIQUE CABINET - NEEDS RESTORATION!
This is an antique mission style oak cabinet. The cabinet is in need of restoration. As it has a crack in the right door near the hinge. The dimensions of this piece are: H: 37" L: 40" D: 18" My parents bought this cabinet over 30 years ago. And I brought it with me when I moved to Los Angeles. It is a beautiful piece and has survived a cross-country move. Like I said, it needs restoration. In addition to the crack. Some bits on the inside shelving did fall off, but I do have the pieces. Unfortunately, some pieces of the front door design have fallen off and I don't have those. One of the drawers does have a red fabric upholstery. This is a Rotary Office Chair produced by the H Krug Furniture Company- Berlin(Now Kitchener) Ontario Canada. This company was known for medium to high-end furniture and the company continues to operate to this day. Every indication is that their products were built to last since this chair has aged remarkably well.This chair has been repaired and restored once approximately 30 years ago and has been used regularly since restoration. All wood and metal components(swivel, tensioner, castors) are original to this particular chair. The chair is solid; all stiles and components are tight and in perfectly functional condition. We have recently downsized and have more furniture than we have space, so it is time to part with some of my old projects. They each way over 60 pounds each with solid knotty pine top. Doors, bottom floor, sides, and drawer fronts. They feature real stained glass doors. And vintage hardware, and please note that they were made as a matched pair originally with differing drawer handles on both as coming from the maker and these are not replacements. They also have center slanted grooved indentations in table top and side front corner edges to give the effect of even more country feel from a real tree feature. Here's what I stated about these gorgeous arts and craft style tables: Scratches. Scuffs, and ding indentations on table surface tops. Small gouge out of one table's surface top corner. One of the drawers has a decal that says it was manufactured by the STANDARD FURNITURE COMPANY out of Herkimer. NEW YORK. This massive library table is especially"RARE" and"top of the line" in that it contains 6(SIX) large"raised paneled" drawers(three on each side) measuring 22 1/2" wide. 16 1/2" deep and 3 1/2" high.all dovetailed, front and back! Three Vintage Oak Hat Stands Mission Oak Style
Three Oak Hat Stands from the 1930's or 1940's. They are approx. 9" tall and each have a 6" square base.
