Measurements: Approx. 29-1/4" in height. 44" wide at widest part Table Top measures 27-3/4" x 43-7/8" 22" from floor to bottom of drawer legs are 6" wide outside edge of leg to outside edge of other leg approx. 36" shelves on sides have opening approx. 11" high x 24-1/4" wide from floor to bottom of cross pieces between legs is approx. 5-7/8" Handle pulls are original to desk and could easily be changed as one has a screw through front of knob while other is entirely wood front. There are some scratches and dings to wood as can be seen in photos. One rear leg had slight exposure to dampness at one time and has a little swelling. Which could be sanded and finished but I am leaving item in condition as acquired. Dovetailed drawer has had nails added on both sides for added strength at some point. The seat is heavy and obviously reupholstered in the native indian motif. This rocker is solid with no loose pieces whatsoever. It does have have some knicks and scratches from use, and will need a good cleaning with some murphys soap, but overall a super fine example. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Though it has lived through numerous attempts at restoration over the years, it does still contain its original peg construction and metal spring and strap seat supports. A mission/Arts& Crafts piece in excellent condition and highly functional. Stands 52 inches high and is 4 feet by 20.5 inches in size. Striking tiger oak pieces. All original handles. The top drawer has a removable sliding tray with divisions and original velvet tray bottom in mint condition. Two small handles to lift it with. There are two small drawers on each side and then a very shallow drawer for place mats. Below that two doors and big space for storage and at the bottom a good-sized drawer for storage. 1920's Antique Mission Solid Quartersawn Oak Folding Secretary Desk
On offer is a classic antique Mission or Arts&Crafts secretary desk. This desk was purchased for considerably more money in 2005. It is in need of some repair. Which could be done relative easily, but is nevertheless which is why I am asking much less than purchase price. The rear right leg is wobbly and needs reinforcement. I added a steel bracket on to stabilize it a few years ago, but it was neither an attractive nor particularly stable solution. Also the top does not close flush because the hinges have been attached incorrectly and need to be moved(as simple as drilling two new holes and puttying over the old ones) On the plus side, the quarter sawn oak is really beautiful, the tiger oak pattern is exactly what you'd want in this kind of piece. Craftsman, Mission, late Victorian Tiger Oak Tall columned mantle with mirror
This mantle was in a house we are restoring and was added as part of a 1910 era remodel. The home is being restored and we have no use for it. It is a large tiger oak mantle. 82" x 60" Firebox 35.75" x 36. Nice square columns and just a nice mantle that would work well in almost any old or new home. I have added a second photo which shows the mantle as it was installed in the home. Obviously the'firebox' was a later addition. Look around on Ebay and you can see these typically are 900-1600.00. We are pleased to offer this antique desk. This is a beautiful old desk dating to the early half of the 20th century. The desk is made of solid oak in the Mission. Arts& Crafts style. It is"Stickley" styled with a clean, simple design. The desk top is compromised of 2 planks which provide a generous work space. It has a single center drawer for pens, pencils, etc. Each side features two, open shelves for paper/file storage. The legs are simple and slightly supercede the height of the table top. The desk has wooden buttons which cover the screws/nails. It is in very good antique condition. There is a very slight bow on the top which is neither severe or distracting. There are some minor nicks and dings from use, but again, nothing too obvious or distracting. There is one screw cover that is missing on the back of the desk(see ... morephoto 10) The desk is sturdy and the screws can be tightened if they loosen. Tiger Oak Mission Style Drop Down Desk Quarter Sewn
This beautiful desk is made out of oak wood. Tiger oak wood, quarter sawn and is in solid, good original condition. This wonderful secretary style desk has a light/medium oak stain finish color, and it has a pull-down front with a drawer and shelving inside the top section, see pictures. Dove-tailed drawer with wood handles on the outside, see pictures, and the drawer is working properly. This is a high-quality piece with an elegant mission/arts and crafts style design. The condition is very good for it's age but there are some aging imperfections with a small dark spot on the top, and some on the bottom shelf and a couple inside. Also some sort of small circle outline near the top key hole. It looks like the front drop down is made in two pieces and there is a small separation of the two in an area. Really just part of the old character ... morebut I want to point out as much as I see so that you can decide if you are interested. This solid oak sideboard or server has original beveled mirrors and leaded stained glass doors. The deep finish is in excellent condition with exceptionally warm patina. Tapered columns on the corners are striking. The stained glass is intact except for two spots in the borders which have hairline cracks with professional glue infusions as shown. Mirrors have antique"smoke" to show their age on this American made Craftsman furniture. The gallery is removable and the top is finished underneath. Fumed oak small single-door Charles Limbert bookcase.signed w/ early paper label. Size: 16-1/2" wide. 11-1/4" deep, 46" tall. Early paper label dates to it being manufactured before 1907 in Grand Rapids. Michigan before they opened their factory in nearby Holland. Original dark fumed oak finish. Push button handle and wavy glass. Two adjustable shelves w/ the 8 original metal shelf support pins. Very good condition. Oak is undamaged and in clean condition. Sturdy w/out any looseness. Very minor wear to the dark fumed finish. Of course there are some minor issues.there is a seam separation on the top. And a slight offset seam at the top of the right slab side panel. Looking at it from the back, the plywood panel is rough along the right edge w/ some chipping and missing veneer(touched up) Some glue blocks under the base were ... moremissing and have been replaced. RARE CANADIAN PEQUEGNAT 1st ISSUE MONCTON 15-DAY SOLID MISSION OAK OFFICE CLOCK Selling Without Reserve! Here I am pleased to offer a simply gorgeous. Collector-grade example of the timeless Pequegnat"Moncton" model office wall clock. This mission style clock is very representative of what Pequegnat was all about. The clock is made of solid 1/4 sawn oak and retains its original medium finish. This is the earlier and rarer 1st Issue example. You see one of these 1st Issue clocks for every 10 second issue examples. The Moncton was one of Pequegnat's best timekeepers. These clocks were used in many CPR& CNR railroad stations up until the 1940's. As you can see. This clock is 100% original, including the flaking, but present"Berlin" marked dial. All serious collectors know that during the Berlin manufacturing period, ... morethe paint didn't bond to the tin correctly. Most of these flaked dials were changed as early as the 1930's. By these standards, this dial is actually quite good. There are no extra holes behind the dial, it is without a question the original to the clock. One could easily obtain a N.O.S Moncton dial to replace this flaking one. In fact I have an original that I would sell if the winning bidder is interested. Personally, I would leave it as is. It retains its pristine and full"Berlin" paper and all-brass Berlin-signed works. The pendulum is correct including the early black stick which appears to have received a repair at some point. It is hardly noticeable and does not effect its ability to run and keep time. This was a true. Unmolested"House clock" coming directly from a local estate. It measures 33 inches by 16 inches and comes out from the wall about 5 inches. The clock runs strong and has received recent servicing. The clock will run for approximately 15 days when both springs are fully wound. All parts are guaranteed to be correct right down to that little nut that holds the hands on! There is an original paper label with the clock stating Solid Oak and hand written date of purchase in 1980. 22 3/4 inches tall x 14 1/2 inches wide and 5 inches deep. Cane and walking stick stand with 8 openings for holding many pieces. Each opening measures 4 3/8" square, the same size as Arts& Crafts era pottery tiles! Overall it measures 22" long, 11 5/8" wide and 26" tall at the corner posts. It is made of solid oak with the original dark stain which is also classic Mission type. It comes with the original tin metal drip pan. Fine solid and sturdy complete condition with no cracks, chips or repairs- check my photos. Absolutely guaranteed a genuine Mission era stand. Nice old lawyers bookcase from Globe Wernicke. 55 inches tall. 34 inches wide and 11 inches deep. Label says grade 898 1/4 oak mission finish. Almost looks fumed. Has light wear, and 2 knobs were replaced. The others are real nice heavy original pyramid knobs and the bookcase has a rare drawer in the base with original mission pulls. Really nice shape. Overall this measures 7'8" tall and approx. 5 feet wide. The opening for the fireplace is 41-1/2" wide. And 38-3/4" high but there is plenty of framed area around that to increase the opening size if needed. All solid quartersawn tiger oak construction and in its original finish. Large Limbert low backed settle with 5 slats at each end under a gracefully arched arm support with a curved corbel supporting the gently curved arm. This settle features the strong architectural appearance of an"even-arm" or"box" settle but with the added comfort of lower arms. The arches. Antique Tiger Oak Quartersawn Arts Crafts Mission Library Card Catalog UNC
This antique Arts& Crafts/mission-style card catalog is made of dark quartersawn oak and is sideboard height. With 36 drawers. It measures 41&3/4" wide, 16&7/8" deep, and 38" high. The wood has a beautiful grain pattern. I've cleaned other antique card catalogs with alcohol to remove the old shellac and then treated the wood with jojoba oil. But I never got around to doing so with this one, and I'm sure it will look even better once that's done. I did clean it with a natural spray cleaner when I first purchased it, but since then have only dusted it. As shown. It has typical scratches and wear, but considering its age I'd say this is in very good condition. All the drawers function properly, although as shown, four are replacements in a lighter-stained oak and of those two will need new hardware. ... moreThey fit perfectly, as they came from another antique card catalog from UNC's Wilson Library that was the same model and age. These lighter-stained drawers could of course be re-stained to match the others. Four brass divider knobs are missing. One of the drawers has an old inkstain at the back as shown in last photo. The price is firm. I really love this and have been saving it to use as a sideboard when I move to a larger space. Genuine antique footstool of the mission/ craftsman/ arts& crafts era. Solid oak legs and side pieces with hidden bottom panel of pine or similar soft wood. Chamfered legs and dome-headed nails are distinctly representative of the era. Brown leathercloth surface is cracked but has great patina. Assembly is somewhat crude and there is notable wear to the edges of the oak parts. Great character for such a small piece. Measures 15x11x9 inches.

Vintage Thick Heavy Mission Oak Crafted Table w/ drawer 1800's /early 1900's
You are bidding on a very old. Mission oak table. The age is uncertain, but with the following information, you can make an educated guess. It was purchased from the estate of Judge Parker in Cullman, Alabama around 1915. It was located in the judges entry parlor. It was most likely in the judge's family for many years prior to his death/estate liquidation. It remained in the possesion of another Cullman family until the 1990's when it was inherited and moved to the Athens, GA area. It is made of solid oak. 1.5" thick on the top, sides and bottom cross piece. The top is 48" x 29.5" The flared legs are 32" wide at the floor, and 30" in height from the floor to the underside of the table top. The midde cross piece that connects the legs is 16" wide in the middle, 27" wide on the ends and 37" long. ... moreThe drawer can slide open on either side of the table. The outiside dimensions of the drawer are 21" x 26" The last picture shows the underside of the drawer. The wood is in extremely beautiful condition for its age. The only major defect is a split in the wood on one of the flared legs. Due to the fact that the top of the table is bolted onto the entire width of the flared leg. This split does not affect the sturdiness of the table(also the pins hold the leg onto the middle piece on each side of the split) See pics to see how the top is secured to the sides as well as the split. The split could probably be repaired by a professional. One of the pins has been repaired cosmetically(see pics) Also on the top of the table, there is a gap between two of the boards just toward the end, see pic(not the same end as the split leg, so it is not a result of that, may have been like this in its original construction) The table can be viewed prior to purchase by calling 706-543-7985.
