This would make a wonderful addition to your Mid Century desk. This vintage Eagle Hi-Lite high intensity lamp has a brass color metal gooseneck with taupe base and conical shade. The lamp has a small tab that you can pull out of the base so that you can mount it on a wall. It is in good vintage condition with some normal wear. It works great. Please refer to pictures. Base=2 3/8" tall by 3 1/2" across bottom. Neck=11 1/2" shade=4 1/2" long with the brass finial by 2 1/2" across the hole. Mid-Century Modern Desk Inkwell Sarreid Made In Spain Glass, Solid Brass, Wood
This is a very large Mid-Century Modern Desk Inkwell set with a glass ink container with a solid brass sit on lid. Solid brass pyramid style inkwell and a solid distressed wood base. The wood is dark and heavy and looks like wormy chestnut in appearance. It is marked Sarreid, ltd. Made in Spain on the bottom. The Sarreid is a paper sticker and Made in Spain is burned into the wood. It measures about 6" tall, 8 3/4" wide, and the wood base is 1 1/2" thick. The bottle is 3" wide and 4" Tall. The pyramid is 5 1/2" X 2 3/4" There is an indention in the wood for the bottle to sit in and indentions around the wood base for pens and pencils. The wood base is hand carved. This is a very nice one. The set weighs 4.8 lbs.

Up for grabs is a rare Kartell/ Panton era. Mid century modern, perpetual flip desk calender. You won't find another one of these. The date is easily flipped by pushing the button on the top. This piece is made of ABS plastic and the convex flip date part rotates on the stand. Flip calender comes with a fountain pen that currently has no ink in it. I think it is refillable but I am not sure. One tiny visible scuff on the clear plastic near the top of the front, not a big deal. Minor age wear at Solid Brass parts + age patina; slight wear and couple micro scratches at painted in black base. One shade is almost in EXCELLENT condition(pictures#5& 6) Because this one side of lamp was used only sometimes; another shade* has more wear, because this side of lamp was used often. This Shade has a little more wear at the surface(but because of shades original color this wear is visible just a little) and more wear from bulbs inside of this shade. Walter von Nessen designed swing arm table or desk lamp made by Nessen Lamps Inc. Bronx, NY. 16" total height, 8" diameter weighted base, fully extended, the swing arm measures 25" in length. The shade is tubular in shape and swivels from side to side to direct light. A section of the shade is painted with gray enamel and is original to the manufacture of the lamp. The inside of the shade was originally painted off-white to reflect more light. Time and heat have worn away a lot of the interior paint revealing metal underneath. The lamp works great and has an 8 foot cord that looks original and is in good condition. I think this particular lamp dates to the 1970's or 1980's. The design is clean, industrial but elegant. DESCRIPTION. Handsome and functional CSS two bay wall unit with desk designed by George Nelson and manufactured by Herman Miller. This versatile system measures 81" wide by 79" high when installed. It has beautiful walnut veneer on the cabinets and shelves. And a very pale gray formica desk top surface. This set includes: a 32" wide cabinet with two sliding doors a 48" wide cabinet with organizing shelves a 48" wide shelf with slots for bookend brackets 6 wire bookend brackets two 32" shelves 71" long by 29 1/2" wide by 29" high. Formica desk assembly with 2 drawer cabinet three 79" long black enameled poles three pole stabilizers all hardware for hanging shelves. Cabinets and desk Pictured with a Danish chair which has been sold. This listing is for the shelving system only. DIMENSIONS 81" ... morewide by 79" high when installed. CONDITION Good vintage condition. This does show signs of wear from use. The desk drawers open and close smoothly.There is no key for the locking mechanism, but the drawers are unlocked. The formica desk top is in excellent shape with only a couple of very tiny dings, but it does have small chips to the walnut veneer around the front and side edges. There is an ink stain to the front of the desk cabinet and some chips to the veneer on the drawers. The top of the organizing cabinet has several scratches and there are many tiny areas of bubbling to the veneer on the top of the sliding door cabinet. The previous owner cut the tops of the poles at a slight angle, the adjustable feet on the bottoms are all present. This is very structurally sound and sturdy, and the overall appearance presents very nicely. Please see all of the pictures below for more detail. A Singular Mid Century Modern Walnut& White Laminate Desk by Evert Sodergren. An extraordinary. One-of-a-kind custom made desk by master furniture craftsman Evert Sodergren. This desk was commissioned in the late 1950s by a gentleman who owned a construction company here in Seattle, and who was also a good friend of Sodergren's. This desk is a stunning early example of Sodergren's craft, and a very unusual and seldom seen synthesis of the budding contemporary craft movement and iconic mid century industrial design. The first thing one notices about this piece is the strong influence of the designs of George Nelson and Paul McCobb. And the sleek, clean, mid century/industrial look. However, upon closer inspection, Sodergren's handcraft is revealed in the details: the joinery of the drawers, the quality of materials, the subtle ... moredetails such as the way the laminate-faced drawers are edged in walnut veneer. The desk is constructed of walnut veneer over plywood. With a white laminate writing surface and drawer faces, and brass-anodized aluminum legs. The drawers are constructed of solid mahogany. The desk is in overall very good original condition. The laminate top does show light age appropriate wear such as minor scratches here and there, and the aluminum legs also show light wear including some scuffs and scratches. Overall, however, this is a very well preserved, totally unique piece of furniture designed and built by a master craftsman. Evert Sodergren(who passed away in June of last year at the age of 93) was perhaps best known for his highly sculptural solid walnut armchair that he designed for the Seattle Word's Fair in 1962. However. Throughout his 60-year career as a furniture craftsman, he worked in several different styles, including the simple, linear mid century aesthetic shown in this piece, the highly sculptural craft-oriented pieces. FOR LOCAL PICK UP ONLY IN BEVERLY MA: This is a gem of a desk. It's a vintage Heywood Wakefield desk. It is a traditional colonial style made of solid maple It measures 40 inches across- it is 19 inches deep and about 29 1/2 inches tall. There are 3 drawers down the left side- all in very good working condition and one drawer across the top. It is sort of a nutmeg color- very pretty. It has very nice brass fittings/pulls. There is some minor cosmetic wear but over all- it's in very good condition. Any streaks you see are part of the wood grain- there is no damage to the wood. It wasn't used all that much when it was purchased in the early 1960's and was mostly used for storage in the last 50 years. The top has always been covered.
