1960's Danish modern walnut shell chair is mid century modern style. Made by Kodawood in Miami in the style of Hans Wegner for Carl Hansen. This bent wood chair needs the black vinyl replaced as it has cat scratches. Or use as is. It also has a leg repair with screws added, it is very sturdy. The rest of all the walnut wood is otherwise very good. A great modern chair, very usable as is or redo the vinyl and is excellent. Measures 15 to front of seat, 30 to top of back, 22 wide. Vintage Italian Ladderback Chair Rush Seat Mid Century Modern Gio Ponti Style
Very nice mid century ladder back chair with rush seat. It has a dark finish on the wood(I am not sure of what type wood) The chair is structurally sound. The rush seat is in very good condition and can be for a very long time to come. Under the front of the seat it is a darker color- probably from years of hands pulling the chair up to a dining table. There is a spot(photo#12) of a pinkish color. A light colored stain pen can probably cover it if it doesn't wash off. It is not very noticeable. The wood is in very good condition with only a few light scratches and wear. It is a petite chair- 34" high. 15 1/2" wide and 15" deep. Mid Century Cube chair- the saga I spotted the stylish modern chair somewhere on a porch. I believe. The fabric was in bad shape and the foam was mashed up, but, the frame was good and full of possibilities. To go back before this day, I had purchased very expensive, wonderful fabric at an upholsterers yard sale. I knew the chair would be perfect for this great design fabric. I signed up for upholstery class and took the chair as my project. I dropped out of the class after one class- upholstry is hard and takes skills I have not yet developed! OK. Then, I enrolled and paid for another attempt at the class. I never went. Finally, a very good, professional upholster did a wonderful job restoring the chair and putting on the fabric. It was just as attractive as I had envisioned. Now, the bad news is that I ended up spending wayyyy too much ... moremoney on the chair. The good news is I am selling the chair for under what I have in it, only $195.00. I now enjoy looking at it, but have used it very little because I did not have room for the chair originally, but it looks sooo good. The following auction is for a vintage Viko Chair and an unmarked Footstool. It is original. Its used and shows some wear. Its a little dusty and needs a good cleaning. The chair and footstool are the same color green. The chair swivels in a 360 degree swivel. The footstool is adjustable.Its the angle that gets adjusted rather than the heighth. There is a few scuffs and marks on the vinyl. The worst spot is the edge of the footstool. Its more of rubbed corner. There are a few stains in the fabric. It shows wear.But its still in pretty nice shape. The bottom of the footstool looks like someone scribbled pencil lines in it. The metal on the chair arms and legs is showing paint wear. Vintage Cosco Canary Yellow and Chrome High Chair Stool Mid Century Modern
Mid Century 50's 60's Cosco Stool This is a nice canary yellow high chair from the 60's maybe 50's. The paint is in quite good condition. There are some scratches on the back.The sitting surface is a vinyl with a light padding underneath, it has no nicks, tears or cracks and is in good condition. The chrome is in good condition and has some very light pitting. I did not take the frame apart or I could clean the pitting around the intersecting areas with fine steel wool and it would come all the way clean. It comes with a chrome tray which has some wear. Scratches and rust. The bracket is missing a screw which is not a big deal, I used it without the tray, it is a little tricky to get latched into place. 1952 PFAFF BRAND SEWING CABINET W/ CONCEALED CHAIR MID CENTURY ARTISTRY MUST SEE
Up for auction is this ultra cool mid century modern sewing machine cabinet made by Pfaff of Germany. This cabinet if from the early 1950's. And an advertisement I found dated 1952(see pics) has this to say about this particular cabinet they dubbed"The Californian; All the drawer and storage space you could ask for in the cabinet that spells artistry and craftsmanship at their finest. The concealed posturized chair is an integral part of this marvelous Model brilliantly executed in the modern motif. With turn point lid supports. Available in Walnut, Mahogany and Lime Oak. Hand-rubbed finish" This cabinet I believe is the Mahogony model. And comes with everything original down to the very retro gold tone round hardware. The turn point supports are hidden under the top. Just push on one end and they come out(see pics) which gives ... morea nice even support to the lids when they are lifted out and down. There is a two shelf storage compartment on the left side and four pull out drawers on the right. When the chair is lifted out(chair has an indented finger hold on left) you have two more drawers for storage underneath the seat. It measures 36" wide. 19" deep and 30-1/2" tall. It is in very good condition, but there are a few spots/stains on the top of the cabinet, and a few small missing pieces of the veneer finish- please see the pictures as they are part of the description. Please email any questions. I have not done any refurbishing to this piece. Just a cleaning with some orange oil/ beeswax. I have the Pfaff knee pedal motor control available for this machine. Which came out of another similar Pfaff cabinet. If you want to convert it back to a sewing table, I will include the knee pedal. I know people who have turned similar cabinets into mini lift-up bars, which is very mod. This would also make a great desk. Whatever you use it for, it has that classic mid century modern appeal. We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL pair of French or English Regency styled arm chairs. The chairs feature SUPERIOR quality construction from the high end. CENTURY CHAIR COMPANY of Hickory, NC. The chairs date to around 1965 and feature mahogany wood frames with a medium to dark brown stain. The frames are exquisite with barley twist accents on the backs and front legs. The open back frames feature a center medallion with painted(factory finished) floral accent. The medallions are flanked on each side with a geometric, curved diamond fashioned of rounde"d wood. The tops of the chair backs have a straight line profile. On each side of the backs, where the arm attachments begin, the chairs have a painted(again, factory finished) garland/swag of ivy leaves. The chair frames feature gold gilded accents on the twists, chair backs and ... moreas an outline to the factory painted floral and leaf designs. The seats are generous and fabric covered. The fabric is BEAUTIFUL. It Is a gold, woven twill with sheen. The gold twill provides for light and darker gold highlights/lowlights within the gold color. The gold is paired with a deep red/burgundy, thinner stripe. The fabric is in very good condition with no rips, tears or stains. It is trimmed with gold brocade. The chairs are in very good condition. They are heavy for their size. There are VERY MINOR surface scuffs which can be easily resolved. These are very minor and are not distracting. There is some expected wear to the urethane on the arm/hand rests. This has not affected the stained finish and is minor as well. The chairs are incredible both in quality and beauty. Again. For sale a set of 31 cylinder shaped vintage wood furniture legs one set of 19 measure 2 1/2 of an inch high and one set of 12 measures 2 inches high and both are 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The screw extends about 1 inch. These are a medium brown with still a rather high gloss finish on them. I don't know wood so I'm unable to tell you what kind it is. These have a good weight to them and as you can see they screw in to your furniture.

The chairs have a solid wood frame which is bolted together with large hardware(very nice aesthetic detail) The wood has been finished in a very dark chocolate to black stain which does allow the graining to be seen. The backs and seats feature STUNNING. Very modernist, tree bark patterned SUPERIOR quality vinyl. The vinyl is very similar to the fabric used for the old barber capes and the chairs have a very high stain resistant factor. We are pleased to offer this gorgeous. Mid Century Modern bench sofa chair with attached end tables. This unique piece was initially used in the lobby of a Commerce Bank in Missouri in the 1960s and had been with the same owner since the 1980s until we acquired them. The bench is SOLID and features a hardwood frame. The bench section is padded lightly and covered in the original aqua(green/blue) fabric. The drum tables are located and attached on each end. They feature a walnut/pecan wood veneer. The bench(please note that the listing is for one bench but we do have two available) is quite sturdy and was constructed to use(not just look good) It could be used in a number of rooms from the entry hall to the living room. It has a great profile! The bench is in good condition. There is very little evidence of wear to the fabric. The drum tables ... moredo have some scratches. Particularly to the lower sections. There are a couple of minor chips to the veneer in these sections as well(cleaning crew bumped with vacuum? With very little effort, they can be restored to their original glory. As they are, they are quite lovely and afford lots of character! The end tables are bolted to the benches and do come apart. This way, you can recover the fabric if you so desire and could stain the drum tables as well(see picture 11) The holes in the drums are threaded inside which is a nice feature as well. The benches are identical. They measure 7 feet in length. They are 19" deep(front to back) The seat height is 19" tall and the tables are 20.5" tall. The tables are 19" in diameter. Very nice period correct 60's Setwell Danish modern gentleman's valet or butler chair. Known to be kept in the bedroom for hanging clothes, holding jewelry, watches, rings, etc. in the little trinket tray on top. Shows very minor age appropriate wear on the front corners of the cushion and very light faint stain marks on the tray, otherwise wood looks wonderful in a deep rich walnut typical of that time. Measures approx. 39" high, 17" wide, seat is 15" high. Great addition to anyone's mid century modern collection. Still retains the original paper label underneath from the Setwell Company. Untitled Document Description. Up for auction is an absolutely gorgeous teak/black vinyl mid-century modern folding chair. This beauty was made by the United Chair& Furniture Company out of Montreal. Quebec, Canada. The piece is reminiscent in style of Egon Eierman's celebrated design for Wilde& Spieth of Germany. The chair features a sold teak frame with bullnose edging to tapered v-shaped legs. Padded soft vinyl seats and curved backrests make these chairs a comfortable& stylish addition to any modern space. The vinyl is in good condition with no tears or separations in the seams/piping. The teak legs do have some scuffing from use. And a slight wobble to the chair. One leg is warped slightly. Measures approx. 31" tall, 19" wide by 19" deep when set up.
