This wonderful old liquor cabinet is from an old Cape Cod estate. It is made of solid quartersawn oak with the exception of the bottom which is veneer. It measures about 16 1/2" tall. 17" wide, and 11" deep. The finish is old, checked, and original. It has a lock but the key is missing. I think a locksmith could easily produce a key for this. There is a small chip from the right back foot as shown. Great old cabinet for your bar. Thanks for looking.

The interior slide pulls out smoothly, while the lower cabinet door also opens and shuts seamlessly. There are two removable shelves in the upper section. These shelves have brass rails around them and are made so tall bottles can be stored inside. The bottom cabinet has one removable shelf. There's not a large demand for silver safes today, but the hand workmanship on this piece is quite nice! We are pleased to offer this vintage(Mid Century) cabinet/chest. This is an exquisite piece with unbelievable and numerous details and accents. The piece is not marked. But probably of Chinese(maybe Japanese) origin. It is fashioned of black lacquer wood with hand painted landscapes. Very thick, dimensional, mother of pearl characters accent the landscape. There are beautiful Geisha girls with delicate features and ornate dress. There are small pagoda structures as well. There are a couple of large, mother of pearl architectural columns at the entrance of the gardens. At the base of the columns, are painted dragons. The dragons tails come up and wrap around the columns. The cabinet has beautifully painted legs and feet. It also features brass cabinet pulls with dangling pagoda designs. VERY ELABORATE AND ORNATE. This furniture item was hand constructed by my great-great-great grand father. Amasa Gleason who lived in Half Moon Township- near Syracuse, New York. The purpose of its design was to hide the spirits within from prying eyes of children and adults who might frequent the family home and might disapprove of his intemperate habit of keeping spirits in his home for even infrequent consumption. Being a stanch Methodist community, this would be frowned upon. The WCTU would also have a few comments on this. This cabinet has been passed down to me. A member of the 13th generation of the Gleason family in America. I can trace the lineage of it from Amasa to his son George, to his son Howard, to his son Delbert, to his son Allyn, to his son(me) Amasa"removed" from Half Moon Township to Winona, Minnesota, and became a dairy farmer. His grandson(my ... moregrandfather) Delbert, had a dairy in Ridgeway, Minnesota, just outside Winona. There's the provinence of this cabinet and it's origin. It measures 33.5" high; 25.5" wide. And 16.5" deep. It has cut-outs on the shelves for various shapes and sizes of cordials and stemware, which are included. Most of them do not match the cut-outs or each other, but a few of them do. There is ample room for storage of bottles and decanters throughout the two levels of the cabinet. The inside of the draw is 11 inches long by 5 inches wide by 1 ½ inches tall. There are gold tone decorative shields on the doors; gold tone hinges and handle. The feet are painted gold and there are some signs of patina to the gold on the feet. The green felt on the bottom is worn. While there are some very minor scuffs that were difficult to photograph to show; there are no cracks. Brakes or damage to the structure of this unique piece. Updated(4/24/14) I received a call today from the estate advising me that they found the glass liquor bottles for this bar. So I have updated the photos and description. There are four glass bottles with a gold tone plastic screw on cap. The glass bottles are marked in gold"RYE" VODKA" SCOTCH" and"WHISKEY" The bottles measure 8 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches. The graphics are in great condition. Antique Mahogany Tea Cart Liquor Cabinet with Hinged Top Drop Leaves Copper Trays with Monogram Here is a very unique piece for your home decor needs. Recently picked this piece up at an auction. I do not see a makers mark on this piece. Anyone out there know whom may have made this piece? Your identity would be kept anonymous. Thanks. I myself have never come across a piece like this in 35 years of furniture dealing. The piece looks like a tea cart. However. When the top is folded open, you then have access to the liquor that is stored inside the cart. There is an open area and then another locked area that is accessed by the doors on both ends of the cart. The locks and hardware for the top and ends are still there. But unfortunately there is no key. One of the side doors is locked as well. Only thing I see to report is that the rubber ... moreon the large cart wheels are no longer there, presume they dry rotted out as I have seen on other carts. I see ones for sale on eBay for $11 a piece, plus others on some woodworking sites. There is some finish loss to the top of the cart. Also a chip to one of the folding top pieces. Great detailing on the side of the cart where the drop leaves are. The wheels are all there. The larger ones are a little loose and need some attention(one of bolts is missing its' nut) One of the wood blocks(3" that the folding top sits down on is missing on one side. The drop leaves are in just exquisite condition. They have an interesting system for locking them in place when you open them. As you raise the leaf. There is a spring that pushes the support bar out to then hold the leaf in place. One of the leaf springs works consistently, the other needs some adjustment. The copper trays inside of the cart to place the bottles and glass are are marked up from use. I only wiped down. Did not take any copper cleaner to them. Gorgeous lighted liquor cabinet bar in black with natural bamboo trim. The black is coarsely woven(burlap) fabric(sealed with a matte clear coat) and the bamboo is natural color. The inside of the top features 4 adjustable shelves(2 small glass shelves. 1 large glass shelf and 1 wood shelf) Three lights are mounted on the underside of the top and controlled with a switch. Victorian Rattan Marble Top Server or Liquor Cabinet Bar, Sturdy Wicker Antique
A Victorian 19th century bamboo rattan server or washstand featuring a marble top and four old deep blue glazed tiles. The rattan has the original mottled finish. And the front legs have an interesting splay. There is a woven rush covered door with a working latch enclosing a two compartment interior. The tiles are secured with the original, old stamp decorated metal pins, and the top of the back posts are capped with beautiful stamped roundels. The tiles are backed by the original old pine board. The entire piece is in excellent condition, with no damage or repairs. The tiles and marble top are in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks. The piece is very sturdy with no shakiness, and with the marble is quite heavy. The piece measures 31 inches wide. 18 1/2 inches deep, and 44 1/2 inches tall. Overall in nice condition but the bottom has some minor damage and the bottom doors do not latch correctly. The light also doesn't turn on because the power cord was cut. Please see photos. The only makers marks I see are on two of the latches with some sort of triple"S" design. I have a few purses/ handbags up for auction. And I do combine shipping if you decide to buy more from me.

Ceramic Whiskey Liquor Barrel Wood Cabinet w/ 6 Japan Shot Glasses
Ceramic whiskey barrel liquor set. Barrel is empty. The barrel sits on a wooden holder mounted inside a wooden cabinet. The spout is good. The cork is mostly gone. No chips or cracks in barrel. The 6 shot glasses are ceramic. Made in Japan. They came with the set. I don't think they are orginial to set. I've had this set for almost 30 years myself. I believe the barrel is from the 1930's. Barrel measure 6 1/8" long. Almost 5"wide. The shot glasses sit in 2 wood holders& slide in the bottom of cabinet. The shot glasses are maked"Japan" Red painted trim is woren, White with green dots. 1 glass has a chip in the inside. Glasses measures 2 1/4" tall. The wood cabinet has damage in the back. See pictures. Cabinet measures 12 3/4" tall by 8 1/2" across.

The green felt on the bottom is worn. There are some scuffs on the side and on top of the drawer. A small dent at the top of the cabinet. There are no cracks. Brakes or damage to the structure of this unique piece except for the missing wood separation for the four slotted areas where the bottles go. Utensils show signs of age. This unit comes with: 2 glass bottles with a gold tone plastic screw on cap. The glass bottles are marked in gold"VODKA" and"SCOTCH" The bottles measure 8 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches. Some of the graphics are faded. Beautiful Vintage trifid foot liquor cabinet. Made of quartersawm and oak wood. Trifid or Drake foot vintage furniture with the cabriole leg are characteristics of 18th century design. Mostly appears in Queen Ann-style,and Chippendale-style. American cabinet makers from Newport and Rhode Island also used this style in 1900 late Victorian era. Though I am not an expert, this is what I have found in researching this item. Both drawers, Bottom storage compartment, and both side curio doors have a script design key fixture with usable locks except for the top drawer does not lock. The top surface of the cabinet has a candle burn mark in the center(please see pictures for visual details) The lock and surface burn both look to be very fixable. This is a great vintage piece. MID CENTURY FRENCH LOUIS PROVINCIAL GILT WOOD COCKTAIL BAR LIQUOR CABINET TABLE
We are pleased to offer this RARE. Mid Century cocktail cabinet. This is a BEAUTIFUL accent piece in the French Provincial style. The cabinet is wood with a heavily, gilded/gold leaf finish(original) The cabinet is of very nice quality and is quite functional. The cabinet is ornately incised/carved. The front face has a large center acanthus and raised panel insignia. The side profiles of the cabinet feature a scalloped incision. The cabriole legs are adorned with very ornate acanthus leaves and flowers. The apron is scalloped, with the curved areas accomplished with small segments pieced together. The top of the cabinet is hinged at mid point. When you raise the front of the top, the upper panel of the front face opens and the liquor cabinet, glass holder, automatically lowers and the glass holders automatically slide forward. The shot glass/tumbler ... moreholders are a 2 tier design. The upper tier houses 5 large, high ball style" tumblers. The lower tier also houses 5 tumblers as well as 5 smaller"shot style" glasses. There is open space on each side of the glass holders for liquor bottles or seltzer. The interior is faced with a black laminate. The hinge mechanisms are very nice and they operate very smoothly. The hinges are brass with a unique mark. To close the cabinet, simply lift up on the front face and the cabinet closes smoothly and easily. The cabinet is extremely nice and exceptionally beautiful. The gilt/gold leaf finish is very rich in color and, in direct light, it almost shines. The cabinet is not marked, but the upper interior looks as if it housed a manufacturers sticker at one time. The cabinet is in very nice condition. There are some areas on the top where the gold leaf is worn as if the cabinet was used to display items on top. These are not too distracting and they can be resolved if you choose. There is also a small piece of veneer that is missing on the back side of the top. Again. It is not distracting. The overall condition is very nice. STUNNING! The cabinet measures 39"
