The fiberglass still has it's shine, showing great fibers. There is very minimal ware on the edges, and minimal scratches on the seats from light use over the years, the chair has no cracks or fractures at all. All four shock mounts are solid, has all 4 original hex bolts, and it has the Herman Miller name& logo embossed on the underside of the shell. This is the chair to watch the Super Bowl or Gone with the Wind from. Depending on your sport. It is covered in a great tan suede, although I'm not sure if it is natural or man-made. It sits on polished chrome feet. I don't see any holes or snags in the fabric and it does not have any obvious stains or marks. Suede has"shadows" when you run your hand over it, so it's hard to tell if that's what you see or there is some soiling especially on the front third of the seat cushion. This is a very big chair. NO RESERVE AUCTION. Vintage Charles and Ray Eames 670 Lounge Chair and 671 Ottoman matching set in beautiful Brazilian Rosewood and Leather. All Original from August 16th 1978. It's all there. No repairs. I am the third owner. The leather is perfect- soft/ comfortable with all buttons intact. Shows minimal wear and no smells. Stains,rips, picks, nor tears. Never exposed to smoke. Identical Original Herman Miller stickers on the bottom of both pieces. The shells are gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood which have never been refinished. The chair has two small chips along the bottom edge that don't show from the top of the chair(see photo# 6) The ottoman also has two small chips along the lower edge(see photos# 10& 11) There are no more gouges nor deep scratches present. herman miller eames chair rare set of 4 triangle mark grey color fiberglass nice
some fine chairs! they have been through years of use and are holding up good. all have the paper label and double triangle marks. prior owner drilled holes in bottom and used them on the patio for years. before that they were in a barber shop in a small upper michigan town. they are in ironwood michigan right now on the wisconsin border by lake superior and that is where they would have to be picked up. at this auction no shipping local pick up only. the holes should be an easy fix with jb weld because that is about the same color as these chairs and is a good epoxy. the photos are the best description. they do have some wear and on 2 of them a corner on bottom behind where the knee sits is a small stress spot that could be looked into but they all perform well and you hardly ever have the chance to hbuy a whole set of grey ones at one time. ... moredont be afraid to send an offer.

This Eames DCM(Dining Chair Metal) is Vintage with the patina and appearance that come with age. We are the original owners and it was purchased in 1954. The Walnut veneer is gorgeous and still completely intact with no separation between the layers. All welds are original and intact. The shockmounts are original and have never been re-glued There is a small chip on the bottom of the upper piece and a few along the back edge of the seat and some scratches on each piece. Up for auction is an amazing chrome and fiberglass swivel tulip chair from the 1950's or 1960's. It is in great shape overall and is just stunning. It is unmarked for the maker and I believe the base is stainless steel and the seat is fiberglass. It has a hydraulic feature when you sit down on it for a gently landing. It is in excellent condition for its age and just gleams. There is a small scrape to the paint on the seat that could be easily fixed and there are some light scratches on the base(that you can see better in the last photo in bright sunlight) Overall the effect is amazing. It has a footrest and measures 25.5" from the floor to the top of the chair. The seat is 17" at the widest. And the chrome base is 15"

For those that know the Eames chair. You will recognize that this particular one was produced in 1953. It is in EXCELLENT condition. No cracks or discoloration. It is the original fiberglass shell and 2 1/2in rubber bushings, that have not bled through the seat. You can buy a polypropylene brand new one for $400, but this is for the collector not the decorator. Charles and Ray Eames realized their first successful. Single-shell form in 1950 with the Molded Fiberglass Chairs. Label is missing(was this way when I got it) The base is held on with a couple of non-original bolts on front, and the feet are newer plastic replacements, but otherwise it appears to be all original. The legs are solid iron rods. Chair is being offered with free local pickup on the northwest side of Chicago. I have tried to remove the legs for shipping. But I cannot get the screws to come out. I have a vintage 1960s or 1970s wave chair chaise lounger for sale. There is no makers mark. However I believe it to be Milo Baughman. It has the original fabric, but it will need to be reupholstered for sure. The bones of the chair do not have any issues, the foam in the cushions are great, no issues there. There is some pitting in the chrome on the round base, it will need repair as well. There is a slight rocking motion that the chair offers as well, its great for napping! The sets(2 available) were purchased from the original owner and seem to have been reupholstered in the green fabric pictured. The fabric is perfectly usable. And looks proper, however, may be a candidate for reupholstery as well if the green is not to your liking. It has the original herman miller stamp imbedded within the aluminum seat bracket and aluminum that can be further polished to like new. Eames Evans Herman Miller 1947 LCW Early Rare Chair, All Original
Listed for sale is an all original Eames LCW by Evans lounge chair in excellent condition. The chair still has all original shock mounts and has acquired a beautiful patina. The finish itself has held up well. With clear signs of use, but no chips or notable damage. Only minor scratches are evident. In terms of hardware, the chair has the Evans 5-2-5 setup, and screws that are found from my experience on the 1946 and 1947 production chairs versus the 1948-onward Evans examples. Take note of the lower screws toward the seat lip. The screws show no signs of being tampered with and appear to have never been touched. The screws all have patina as is appropriate and are not at all loose. If interested in other modern designs.
