Drexel is a manufacture of high quality solid wood furniture. Please check the pictures for a better look at some of the wear on the vanity top and towards the bottom. It is still in great solid. Sturdy condition and the drawers are all dovetailed and clean. There is some finish rubbed off in areas toward the bottom front of legs(pictured) main wear is on left very bottom side(pictured) but there are other areas in the front that have finish rubbed off from age/use. There is some staining on the very right side top of vanity(pictured) This can be easily lightly refinished to make perfect. There may be some normal wear from age and use such as dings, scratches, rubs. Main areas of concern is pictured. Drexel tag is missing from vanity but it is the matching piece to the bed so I have pictured the tag from the bed. The same numbers match from the bed to the vanity also. What a gorgeous matching set of nightstands/ end tables from legendary manufacturer of fine furniture. Drexel Heritage. Classic campaign style, in very good vintage condition, made of fine solid hardwoods and premium grade brass ornamentation and hardware. Crafted by hand at the Drexel factory in Hickory, North Carolina, USA, home of the finest furniture manufacturers in the world for well over a hundred years. Both pieces feature a single full-length, dovetail-construction drawer on top, with the Drexel babe and logo branded into the hardwood sides, and two cabinet style campaign doors on the bottom, accessible either alone or in unison and revealing a large primary storage area inside, completely finished. Both pieces also feature three recessed, flush-mounted solid brass drawer pulls/ handles, that automatically self-recess into the furniture. ... moreThis was an integral design to true antique campaign furniture, as it needed to be transported with the movements of the military campaign, loaded into heavy horse-drawn carts, and external hardware would snag and become damaged. Drexel has loyally reproduced the true design of this period furniture, and has done so masterfully and with a master's attention to detail. Both pieces are in very good pre-owned condition. Generally the finish is still lustrous and vibrant. With little or no fading. They are not without imperfections; On the top view photograph of one of the tables, you can see in the upper far left corner a very small scratch; there are a few even smaller places where imperfections or the slightest amount of wear is visible under close inspection. Any wear they do show is far less than age-appropriate, and I rate them a solid 8.5 or 9.0 out of 10. I was very surprised and very pleased to find these ultra-desirable and much-sought-after pieces in both such unusually good condition and in their original matching set. Today's young teens may not know what a real phone booth is but they will spend hours chatting with their friends while curled up in this fabulous phone booth chair by Drexel. A result of a survey posted by Drexel in Teen Magazine in 1970. This chair has a mod Peter Max styling. It is in very good condition.very sturdy and solid. The cushions have no rips or tears but the zipper in the seat needs to be replaced(although it does not show) Unfortunately, someone thought it should be painted baby blue. After countless hours of scraping and stripping, the gorgeous mod-green finish was revealed. 99.9% of the blue is gone but there are still traces of it and there are a few spots of bare wood.
