It is in good condition but does have some ... morecondition issues. I am unsure of the actual age of the dresser but would guess it to come from the mid to late 19th Century. It is made of walnut, with burled rosewood accents. The side mirrors pivot at adjustable angles. The bottom front of the dresser on the left side as you face it is broken off and needs to be repaired. Some of the original wooden drawer pulls are missing as well. There is a glove box inside one of the small drawers, and there are some spare parts that will be shipped with the dresser, including some extra casters. A gorgeous vintage dressing table set of 3 white. Ecru,yellow and lilac cotton hand crocheted pansy mats/ doilies. Beautiful neat and precise work, a very attractive floral pansy design. Must have taken many many hours to complete. In excellent condition, showing no signs of wear, no holes, snags,loose threads, marks or iron mould. Dating I would think from the 1930 to 1950 period. 2 measuring 9.5 inches in diameter, and one centrepiece measuring 14.5 inches in diameter. Antique vanity/dressing table. Child's size? Measures approx. 5' tall(to the top of the mirror. 4'3" wide, 18" deep. In need of some love and a refinishing. The finish appears to have already been removed some years ago or it is just that worn. I don't know for sure though. Peeling and chipped veneer in many places. Is missing the little brackets that hold the mirror to the wood backing. Also missing a piece of glass for the top center(between the drawers) Both of those items are easily replaced. Someone wrote their name on the mirror, but it does seem to come off easily when scraped, so it is not etched in there. The mirror alone on this piece is worth $40.00. Vintage 1960's Ideal Petite Princess Royal Dressing Table w/3Perfumes 3/4" scale
THIS IS 1960'S IDEAL Petite Princess Royal Dressing Table w/3 Perfume bottles. 3/4" scale. I hope I am right on that scale as I got that from another listing as I know nothing about doll furniture and scales. As you can see on the bottom it looks like some of the support is gone but I think that can be reinforced to stand up more securely. Right now it stands okay by itself but a little shaky. There are 3 perfume bottles, I am not sure if there is supposed to be more than that, some I seen had 4. It is 6 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. Such a sweet little collectible. 1905 PAIR EBONY & SILVER HAIRBRUSH DRESSING TABLE VANITY ANTIQUE VINTAGE SET
DESCRIPTION: A matching pair of ebony backed hairbrushes with their original real bristles and sterling silver embellishments. Hallmarked London 1905, maker H. F. Daltrey& Company. Both hairbrushes measure 9.5 inches long by 2.5 inches wide and are stamped'REAL EBONY' to the handle. This extremely slow growing hardwood was imported from British India and was a popular vanity set material with both men and women from around the turn of the century to the mid 1920s. When the timber became too rare and expensive to be economically viable. These ebony relics of the period have been highly prized ever since. CONDITION: The ebony is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. They have a very highly polished patina. The bristles are clean and firm but have some loss. One chip out of the side of one ridge coming up on the main urn body(see last pic) It's the size of a small pea. Hardly noticeable, I just kept looking to find any and all flaws right up under a good strong light. There's a couple very small nicks on the bottom edge where it rests, very minimum. This thing is next to mint for its age. You won't find another like it any time soon. Base is 3 1/4" square. It's cut out for the cord. Cord is about 7' long& in great shape. GENERAL.INFORMATION.
