1930-1940's Art Deco Wood Inlay Vanity Dressing Table with Round Mirror
Multiple types of wood inlays were used on this circa 1930-1940's vanity to enhance the Art Deco design of the piece. Just beautiful! The large 39 3/4" diameter mirror sits on the 4-drawer vanity top; there is a round marbled wood medallion in the middle. The drawers are dovetailed. The reflective back of the mirror is worn though you can see yourself clearly. The top of the dresser has a crack that you can see in the third photo. Some of the wood veneer inlay is missing at the bottom of the drawers and the bottom of the middle panel. There is a repair made on the back of the piece that you can see in picture# 3. Right side. This is an antique French Art Deco vanity from the 1920's. It is made of finely crafted Walnut with dovetail and tongue& groove construction. The adjustable swiveling mirror is supported by two fluted columns and flanked by two curvaceous cabinets. There is a shelf directly beneath the mirror. On the left is a bank of three drawers. On the right a single door cabinet with a floral design subtly carved into one corner. The right side is topped with an unusual marble specimen with a mottled"Plum Pudding" veining pattern. The marble is custom cut to follow the curving contour of the cabinet top. Antique French Art Nouveau figural lady with flowers dressing table Lamp
Beautiful antique french art nouveau figural dressing table lamp from the early 1900s. The lady leans over an oval wreath ornamented with intricately cast flowers and leaves. A large flower blooms at her feet. This lamp is in wonderfull antique condition with part of one finger missing and a scratch in her arm. These are in the pictures for you to see but are barley noticeable. The lamp has been rewired and works beautifully. The felt on the bottom has been partially peeled off. It is a heavy lamp. 30 inches tall. 11 inches from her hip to the side of the mirror.

Stag Richmond Cherry Dressing Table/Chest/Desk Height 134cm(including mirrors/ 75cm to desk surface) Width 134cm Depth 46cm This is a lovely Stag Richmond cherry dressing table standing on a shaped cutout front plinth with rounded corners and a moulded top edge. The dressing chest has a bank of 3 drawers either side with a cock bead style mould surround. The drawers have brass pierced batwing handles and have a shaped centre frieze between. The top has rounded corners with a stepped thumb moulded edge. Standing on the back there is are triple adjustable mirrors with an ogee moulded wooden surround and a shaped serpentine top. Everything else on the piece seems original except the wood blocks underneath. It was at some point over the last 50 or 100 years reinforced with newer ... morewood blocks and glue. Everything else though is good. Original top. Hardware, legs, draws.a Great old antique that are hard to come by. It does have some staining on the top and what looks like maybe a burn. The largest mat is approx 17" x 11" The two smaller ones are approx 5" x 5" Vintage reminders of the huge lace industry which once thrived in Nottingham; now only one factory remains which still produces Nottingham lace so this pretty little set is now a historic piece of that history.
