Victorian Dressing Table Hand Mirror Sterling Silver, Beveled Glass
Heavy 9-1/2” long hand mirror. Marked Sterling on the handle just under the mirror, with flowers in deep relief both back and front. The round mirror is beveled. And shows no sign of silver loss. At the very top of the mirror. The frame is slightly crushed. It is noticeable on inspection. But does not immediately detract from the overall appearance of the piece. The mirror has come loose from the frame. And will need to be re-glued in place. Monograms are sometimes difficult to decipher. But I think this one may include the letters M, T and C.

Vintage Cameo-Lite Dressing Table Makeup Mirror Light Vanity Bourdoir Lamp 60s
For sale is a nice old plastic makeup mirror with lights called a Cameo-Lite. I am not sure how old the mirror is but it is yellow and made of plastic. The mirror measures about 12 1/2 inches wide and stands about 8 1/2 inches high. The mirrors measure about 6 inches across. The mirror in the center pivots and the mirror on the other side is magnified. The mirrors are in good shape with only very minor scratches. The plastic shell is in good shape and is not cracked anywhere. The bottom of the shell has a name on it Mayol? but I am not sure because something got sprayed on it[see pic] The lights all work OK but I think the one bulb needs replaced because sometimes when you turn it on you need to tap the bulb to make it light. This beautifully shaped vanity is very old and in very good condition for age. There are limited minor imperfections from age. I was never sure about the type of wood but now I believe it to be mahogany. It is lighter weight. There are two side drawers on the step-up section and one larger one in the lower center. It has a lower shelf stretcher. No repairs have been made that I am aware of. No oil. It has always been kept in a corner, avoiding sunlight. I never used the drawers, however they work perfectly, original wood knobs. California home with no kids or pets. I believe I am the third owner and I have displayed this carefully for 30 years. 1911 SILVER & EBONY TRAY DRESSING TABLE VANITY DESK SET SOLID STERLING ANTIQUE
DESCRIPTION: A solid ebony wood tray with sterling silver corners and a back bar for propping up business/calling/appointment cards. The silver corners have vacant cartouches surrounded by decorative engravings. All hallmarked London 1911, maker H. F. Daltrey& Company. It measures 12 x 7 inches and is stamped'EBONY' to the base. This extremely slow growing hardwood was imported from British India and was a popular vanity set material with both men and women from around the turn of the century to the mid 1920s. When the timber became too rare and expensive to be economically viable. These ebony relics of the period have been highly prized ever since. ART DECO EBONY PREFUME ATOMISER VINTAGE BOTTLE DRESSING TABLE VANITY ANTIQUE SET
DESCRIPTION: A rare pair of high Art Deco ebony wood perfume atomisers with their original chrome plated heads. Bronze rods and glass liners. The shorter measures 4.5 inches tall, and the taller 6.5 inches, both are stamped'MADE IN ENGLAND, REAL EBONY' to the base. This extremely slow growing hardwood was imported from British India and was a popular vanity set material with both men and women from around the turn of the century to the mid 1920s. When the timber became too rare and expensive to be economically viable. These ebony relics of the period have been highly prized ever since. CONDITION: Both have a single historic 1 inch hairline crack to the top where the wood has shrunk around the brass threads over time. These have long since been polished over and are not very noticeable. Dressing Table Set Possibly Edwardian
Here we have a resin or possibly bone dressing table set showing normal signs of age. Both brushes have a metal insignia. The mirror is 25cm long with a total diameter of 15cm. The smaller brush is 15cm by 3.7cm. The oval brush is 24cm long and 6cm at its widest point. The whole set weighs 611 grams. It is in reasonable condition overall with no chips and a few small scratches on the mirror. I am happy to combine lots if you buy any of my other items so that you only pay one lot of courier costs. Vanity or desk. Pre-1960 and unknown manufacturer, the only markings on it are a 68 on one drawer and 88 on the other. It measures 30" wide, 6 1/2" deep and 5 1/2" tall. The inside of the 2 drawers are 4 1/2" deep, 6" wide and 2 1/2" high. There is 14 1/2" between the drawers and the ribbed feet give it 1 1/2" clearance to the table top. The back overhangs so it can be secured to the table it sits on, it also keeps things from slipping off the back of the ... moretable. Vintage Plastic Dressing Table Tray and Bowl Plastic imitation tortoishell tray and bowl. I think part of a dressing table set. It's stamped Made in England and is similar to ware produced by Halex, although their stuff was usually marked as such. The pot has a good fitting lid with a pointed finial. The tray has a little scrape on the inside edge and the expected surface wear but considering its age- around 60 years old- both items are in surprisingly good overall condition. Matching Vintage Empire Style Dressing Table and Secretary Manufactured by Landstrom Furniture Corporation Rockford. IL Dressing Table 41”L x 30 1/2”H x 18”W Drawers 5 1/2” Tall Bureau 35”L x 48 1/2”H x 20”W Two beautifully made Empire Style pieces with book-matched flame mahogany fronts with maple bands bordering the drawers. Tops are ribbon stripe mahogany. Both pieces are in good condition- tight and solid. There is some scratching to the tops and edgewear to both. The desk has scratching on the left side and at the rear center(see photos) The bureau has scattered scratching to the top and is missing the top right drawer pull. Landstrom was a fine furniture maker located in Rockford. Vintage Art Deco hallmarked silver & guilloche dressing table vanity set
VINTAGE STERLING SILVER 1938 VANITY SET- COLLETT& ANDERSON. See photos below) A beautiful Art Deco boxed dressing table set with a mirror. Two hair brushes, two clothes brushes and a comb. The items are backed with sterling silver and a pale green guilloche enamel. With a detail of what looks like jade(though this is not certain) The bristles are set in wood. The silver on each item is hallmarked with a lion. A panther's head for London, the letter'C' for 1938 and the letters'C&A' for Collett& Anderson. All are in very good condition for their age and look hardly used. Although there are a 3 teeth missing from the comb. The silver has not been cleaned. This is a very pretty vintage unused dressed table set decorated with vintage West Midlands hand made lace and presented in a satin lined box. The hand mirror measures approx. 11 1/2" long. The brush measures approx. 9" long and the comb is about 6 1/4" long. Everything is in excellent clean condition except for the outside of the box which is somewhat grubby. You are bidding on a very old hand held wood carved mirror. I have included a lot of photographs so you can see all of the wear on the handle. It is completely intact and a very solid mirror. You will note that some of the silvering on the mirror has been scratched. But overall it is a very whimsical- showing carved cherries and leaves on the back. It was constructed by a very talented Cabinet Maker with hand dovetailed draws ... moreand tiny cut-nails. The figured solid and veneered Mahogany is cabinet grade and the proportions are excellent. We have posted many close-up photographs so you can see every feature of this Victorian Dressing Table including a couple of problems. There is a photo with an arrow pointing to and old repaired mirror frame and there is some old chips to the veneer around the base and on the front of the main draw. There also is a missing thumb screw, from the back of the brass mirror holder. Everything else is original, including the finish, with no restoration. This dressing table is perfect for your 25 to 28 inches tall doll.
