I’ve seen these used on transom windows, cabinets, casement windows almost anyplace you’d like to use a unique looking latch. These keepers are not original to the latches but are the same type. The latch will fit snugly into the keeper. The latch and keeper will work on either right or left hand side of door or window. The keepers would be semi mortised in the ... morejam. The latches are cast iron with a brass finish and the keepers are steel with some light rust and pitting. The latches have some aged darken spotted patina with normal dings and scratches. The pivot point on the latches is not all wobbly like many you’ll come across. These are nothing like the cheap flimsy imports of today. All I did to these was a quick wiping down with an oiled rag. The approximate measurement of the latch base is 2 1/16” x 1 1/8” The handle or grasp is 2 3/8” The keeper is 1 3/8” wide x 1 3/8” Circ. first quarter of last century. This is a beautiful. Country Cupboard Hutch. The top has a unique stepped back design with plate grooves on all the shelves. There is lots of storage on the bottom section with two cabinets 25 1/2 wide by 24 inches tall,with two shelves running the entire width of the cupboard. There are two drawers with crystal knobs. Overall, it is 61" Wide x 81 and 1/4" High x 19 and 1/2" Deep. The base is 36" High with an original cutting board in the center. This hutch has some primitive painting and distressing and is painted a golden yellow color. This is a beautiful piece. But it's just too big for my current home. Will entertain reasonable offers.

She proudly displayed this cupboard in her lovely farmhouse in the country. This is piece has beveled doors with evidence of worm holes. Square nails were used in the construction. It even has a till where someone could hide his or her precious valuables. It's in well worn condition. I'm unsure of the wood type, it might be butternut. Antique Church Cabinet/Cupboard Counter
Antique Chech cabinet/cupboard. Very nice condition. There is one flaw that I do believe can be fixed-but I am not an expert on the top oak counter as shown in pic's one of the boards has lifted a bit. The counter has wooden pegs in it but I believe that if you were to strap it tighter it would come closer together or maybe just hammer it in more. Or keep as is the wood is not split is has just become seperated a bit. Approx. age I was told from the 20's. When looking at it I believe it may be that age but am not sure of the wood on the front and sides. It looks like a wainscot but a solid piece of wood not strips. On the inside of that wood is a ship with the name on it Weidwood? The symbol on the front of the cabinet stands for the first two letters of Christ in Greek. Amazing Miniature Spoon Carved Eastlake Folk/Tramp Art Cupboard Oak & Pine
Miniature Eastlake Cupboard Extraordinary Craftsmanship& Attention To Detail As dealers. Every once and a while we come across something that we really want to keep; this is one of those items. It is quite honestly a work of art. I couldn't even guess how many hours of love went into this perfectly scaled and highly detailed miniature tall cupboard. This amazing cabinet is only 17 1/4" tall x 10 5/8" wide x 5" deep. The front and doors appear to be either oak or chestnut with the top. Bottom, sides and back appearing to be pine. It looks and smells to me like it is in original finish. No linseed oil or furniture polish. If you have much experience with antique furniture, you know what I mean. It has that old furniture smell. The back is single piece; the sides and 4 piece front are fitted into slots like floating panel ... moredoors. It is constructed just like a full sized cupboard would be. All of the wood is hand planed. The spindles are either hand turned or carved, the hardware is hand made from wire and all of the details are hand carved or impressed. One spindle is missing from one door as seen, and it has a couple of white paint dots on one door; otherwise truely excellent condition. I see no restoration repairs; it is solid and clean. No splits or cracks but the top is slightly bowed, just like a full sized one that is showing it's age. It has a very few tiny wire brad nails in it. So I would guess it is no earlier than 1880 and no later than perhaps 1910. Note that the knob on the door has the same impressed design as the centers of the"flowers" on the doors. Here we have a wonderful old primitive tall cupboard from the middle 1800's or possibly later to the 1870's. It has a rather unique crown-like devil's horns with some scroll work on the sides of the top. There are two doors of the one-piece cupboard at the top which open to reveal original wooden shelves. Next looking down one sees two drawers and then there are two smaller doors owning to reveal a wide shelf. The one-piece cupboard stands very. Very tall at 84" high x 35-1/2" wide x 15" deep. There are 3 deep shelves in the top part and one deep shelf in the bottom section. This style could possibly be from the Bishop Hill Colony area in western Illinois but seller has not seen one similar to this one while being an antique dealer for over 40 years. Late 18th Century c. 1780-1800 Item# 130001GHP27 This is a very fine solid mahogany English Chippendale Hanging Antique Corner Cabinet or Cupboard with a Broken-Arch Pediment. Crafted during the last quarter of the 18th Century c. 1780-1800. Of outstanding construction. It features thick planed and carved crown molding along the Broken-Arch, raising the visual plane of the cabinet quite intensely to culminate in a turned finial over a plinth scroll cut of the solid. The sides of the case bevel to soften the edge before joining the wall, these flanking two blind doors. The doors are constructed using a through-tenon mortised frame locking in the inset chamfered panels. Each with shapely notched crests and edged by cockbead molding, both functioning smoothly on ... moreoriginal brass hinges. Inside of the doors, the original hardware remains untouched, the hand forged iron latch on the left door locking the panel in place, the original steel lock on the right door still in place. The interior is four shelves, all but the second-to-top shelf backed by a silk upholstery. The back of the case is entirely dovetail construction. The quarter-sawn oak secondary woods locking into the top and bottom boards without the use of nails or screws. Over the years, this has placed some strain on the back-most corners, as the oak is not thick enough to create an indestructible joint, resulting in some light cracking and looseness where the two boards come together. The cabinet is meant to be mounted using multiple screws through the backboards, coupled with the original hanging tabs at the top of the cabinet on both sides. Tall antique vintage medicine cabinet or spice cupboard with two bottom shelves. Primitive hand made and shabby in vintage original condition. It measures 4 feet tall. And is 16 3/4" wide. It is 5" deep on the top, and 8" deep where the bottom shelves are. There are a few dings and fleck of old paint on it. It could use a light cleaning.dusty. Looks like someone tried to build new inside shelves for the cupboard part. There are two of them, but one is not attached. It has great old lines to it! The possibilities are many with this piece.
