The cabinet has fabulous inlaid marquetry of urns. Flowers, butterflies, birds, foliage and line-inlay overall. The upper section is enclosed by an arched glazed door, the base features a bow fronted pannelled door and it stands on bracket feet. Walnut veneer was highly priced and the cost would reflect the‘fanciness’ of the veneer– the more decorative, then the more expensive and desirable. Figured Walnut and Burr Walnut(often referred to as Burl Walnut) were considered as the most attractive varieties of Walnut. Burr Walnut veneer was taken from the specific part of the tree where‘growths’ sprouting smaller branches and/ or roots would occur. As these‘growth’ areas were limited in both occurrence and size. This is a listing for a Vintage 1950s early 1960s THREE PIECE kitchen buffet/ china cabinet and vintage kitchen display cabinet. This is a GREAT dining room set for any vintage furniture lover The piece are in great condition and only need a good cleaning. There are no chips in the laminate and they have a nice light gray color to them. The double sliding glass has no chips and they move freely. The pieces have their shelves and have a lot of storage for dishes. Linens and other housewares! The buffet piece has two pieces to it and they are separate(one on top of the other) and can be taken off for the trip home. I also have several other things listed you might be interested in. Check them out. Refinished in 1942 by Ramsay's Hobby Shop- Pattern Glass. Antiques, Old Coins York PA. we shined it up in 2014 with a little wax and that's all it needed. It is wonderful. Cup Boards like this are always tough to measure. Hopefully we didn't forget anything. It will fit in a corner where both walls are a min. of 38-1/2" Across the widest part of the front is 55" It is 88-1/2" tall. It will stick out about 32" from the corner of the wall to front face. 2 doors with 6 panes of old wavy glass. The glazing is good. But not perfect. All ... morethe glass is in there soundly. Inside the top, there are 2 fixed shelves plus the bottom(so let's call it 3 shelves) Space between each is 18" 11-1/2" and 14-1/2" with a depth inside of 20" and the center back panel is 16" across. Shelves are 1" thick with 2 groves on the sides for plates. The center shelf has cut outs for hanging 12 spoons, neat detail. The bottom section houses 2 drawers. Inside measurements are 12" wide x 3" deep. You can see in the pics the huge dovetail construction. The backs of the drawers are angled to get a little more space. Sorry ran out of ebay pics to show that. The bottom has a 1" thick center shelf plus bottom of course. 12-1/2" and 12" height on these spaces. As you can see in the pics. The cabinet is in nice condition with lots of age and some minor flaws. certainly from turn of the century or earlier. The three brass-pawed pedestals move smoothly on the rack and pinion as the table is opened to receive the 3-12" leaves making it an impressive 102" It has 3/8" thick custom table pads that work in any of the table's configurations. We are including 5 matching chairs with period upholstered seats and simple splayed legs. The mahogany buffet has simple curves in the top that are reflected in the double curved front. The drawers are dovetailed and the 2 felt lined drawers for the silverware have 3 divided sections. The original hardware has oval stamped brass back plates with brass bails. This set has been refinished and the traditional red tone was removed giving it a warm brown finish that is quite durable and waterproof.

19" high beautiful and rare folding Japanese lacquer ware corner wall shelf in good antique/vintage condition. Inlaid mother of pearl in a couple places, beautiful Japanese painted scenes- Mt Fuji, Temple, boat, trees, mill, house- tassel handled doors with decorative silver colored hinges that work great(one of tiny nails is missing) the middle shelf seems to have a chunk out of it though it is black and so less noticeable, a few chips, scuffs, shallow surface cracks that do not affect the integrity of the piece, surface dull in some places and some places with wear to surface as would be expected. With something this old. There seems to be no missing parts that I can see(except the hinge nail) and all the working parts work as intended, no signature. Really cool piece. Beautiful workmanship on this antique corner cabinet from the 1890's Era. Scroll cut designs all over this lovely piece with a young girl holding a staff on each door panel. Measuring approx. 21-1/4" tall x 12" wide x 8-1/2" deep. There are 2 doors on the front of the cabinet that each measure approx. 5-3/4" high x 3-5/8" wide. The wood is dark either Walnut or Mahogany. The front and top of the cabinet are walnut with the secondary cabinet framing appearing to be pine and looking at the grain in the two chamfered panels in the back they appear to be cherry. It appears to be original finish and hardware and has square nails in the back. We would welcome any ideas or suggestions as to what you think this chest might be! The chest is 39" high x 21 1/4" down one wall from the corner and 20 3/4" down the other wall, it is 7 3/8" out from the wall on one end and 7 3/4" out on the ... moreother end, the flat front is 19" wide and is 20" deep from the back corner, inside the locking section in the top of the chest is 18 1/4" deep and the door on the bottom cabinet is 18 1/4" wide x 17 3/4" high. It also has an approx. 12" high notch in the short sides to allow it to fit over the large baseboard of the old house, so the top fits flush against the walls and into the corner. There are no holes or marks on the back or the bottom to give the appearance that this cabinet hung or was attached to anything, so I do believe it was built to sit on the floor in the corner originally. The chest is in great shape with no repairs and almost no problems with the finish other than a few stains on the top. Whatever the original intended use for this cabinet was, it is definitely a rare and unusual southern antique that would make a great addition to any house or collection. I am a local cabinetmaker in Southeastern Penna. When I have slow down time or between projects I build various pieces of furniture. This two piece corner cupboard is a design and build, one of a kind workbench made original. The old chippy paint is light blue in color with white under. The door opens and closes easily but does rub a little on the bottom. It has a few shelves and compartments inside. Primitive antique vintage 1870s pine farmhouse kitchen corner cabinet cupboard
A grand. Large and old primitive kitchen corner cabinet. Made from pine, with some decorative(burl? wood insets. My guess is that it dates to about 1860 to 1870. Hard to tell too much about it since it has been painted, rather recently, in white latex. I have started to peel this off, which is why it looks so weird in the photos! It is heavy, and solid. There are 3 sections: a bottom section, with solid doors, a middle section with glass doors, and a top section, also with glass doors. There is also a deep drawer at the bottom. At the moment it is in the back of my garage. And I cannot get close to it to take better pics, but I will haul it out soon and post more pics. Dimensions are(very approximately, since I am just eyeballing it) 100" x 45" x 30" I will list more accurate dimensions when I can get back to the piece!
