Vintage Tell City Indiana "Young Republic" Rock Maple China Cabinet Buffet Hutch
Hello& Welcome, Here's a truly beautiful 1971. Vintage Tell City Dining Room Hutch with buffet that's in very good condition. It has its original glass and all hardware's original too and, in great condition. However, it does have a couple of small blemishes, with the most visible& largest being on the hutch counter top. If you'll look at the photo's closely you'll see a"bare" spot. The veneer in this spot section is still intact and in good condition so this should be easily repairable by a woodworker. Also, the top trim piece on one end has been cracked and glued back together with wood glue. This may be seen in photo#6 and it too could be easily repaired better by a woodworker. This happened when a couple of my family members decided to move the hutch without removing the top section from the bottom, ... morewhich is easily done. But, they didn't do it and thus cracked the top trim. This piece has been in my family since 1971 and kept in a smoke and animal free home ever since. Other than these two repairable spots it's in very good condition for its age, with only a few other very, very slight blemishes/scratches/marks, etc. on it. The spots noticeable in the first photo and in a couple other photo's are from my camera and are not on the hutch. The hutch measures approximately 71" high, 52" wide& 19 1/4" deep. The top section measures 38" high, 52" wide and 14 3/8" deep. The bottom part measures 33" high, 52" wide and 19 1/4" deep. I will also deliver this item for free up to 50 miles, after 50 miles I must charge $0.60 per miles, one way, for delivery. Thank you. Do to downsizing we are selling our Harley Davidson Curio Cabinet that I purchased from the local Harley Dealer about 15 years ago. It is a gorgeous piece of furniture and do not believe there are a bunch of these around(at least I have never seen one) The original retail was in excess of $4000. I had my Harley collectables in it for years but as you can see it works as a regular china cabinet as well. It has lots of details like the etched HD in the front glass and the Harley Shield in the side glasses. The hardware is of high quality as you would expect from Harley. One of my favorite details is the glass and wood shelving which I have never seen in any cabinet. The Curio is lighted in the top and bottom portions. It has been packed away for a very long time. It is what I believe to be Maple but I am not sure but it is the color of maple. It is in very good condition for it's age. The legs are tight the little cabinet below shuts well and the knobs on the little doors are all there. It has one little shelf on top. It is really adorable. It needs to be cleaned some but not in bad shape at all. It is approx. nine" tall and approx. 7" wide and approx. 3 1/2" deep. It has some scuffs which I believe it normal for it's age. This set is currently located in Arlington Heights Illinois. Just 17 miles west of Chicago. Just cleaned out a 40.000 square foot foreclosure. This was part of the estate. I don't know exactly how old this is or the maker so please judge for yourself. I would guess that it is not a real old antique but maybe made in the last 50 years or so. Tons of brass/bronze ormolu mounts with exceptional veneers. The set consists of- One piece table top with two bases that measures 114" long x 44" wide and stands 32" tall 6 upholstered chairs. Upholstery will need changing since one seat is heavily stained with wine. Note, there are no arm chairs. One ... moresideboard/server with marble top that measures 69" wide x 20" deep and 44" tall. Comes with lockable front doors with key. One china cabinet that measures 89" wide x 20" deep and is 89" tall. This has rounded glass dome doors. Lockable top and bottom with key. You could also remove the glass top and use this as a sideboard without the top. Please note that the top is scratched up from the glass china top being placed and slid into place. Once it is all together, most of the scratches are covered and not visible. If you would want to use this as a sideboard instead of a china cabinet, you would want to refinish the top. The overall condition is very nice and the set shows like it should be in a castle! There are minor dings and minor scratches here and there but nothing too noticeable. A very nice antique. Circa 1930's, Hepplewhite style plain mahogany bow front corner china cabinet over a drawer and two door linen cabinet. One piece construction. There are two stationary plate grooved mahogany shelves to the cabinet, and a stationary mahogany shelf to the linen cabinet. Between is a drawer with oval brass pulls for napkins and flatware. The china cabinet doors have a lattice over a single curved glass panel. The piece measures 70" tall by 36" wide by 20-1/2" deep at center. Excellent condition: original dark red-brown finish to mahogany, no chips or cracks(small piece reattached at top of keyhole. Includes the oiginal brass hardware, lock and key. Antique Printers Ink Block w/ China Cabinet & Plant Stand
This is an antique printers ink block that is copper with a wood block. It does have light wear. But very usable. The design is a China cabinet with china and beside it stands the plant stand with plant. It is 1 3/4" X 3" X 1" There is no maker marks or advertising on this block.
