You are viewing a gorgeous STEP BACK CHINA CABINET in great condition. This cabinet is believed to be from the late 1800s to early 1900s. This cabinet is in two pieces(top and bottom) The top measures 48" tall and 9.5" deep. and is 36" wide. The total width of the doors on the top is 31.5" and it has 4 adjustable shelves(one is not pictured) The bottom measures 36" tall. 36" wide and is 14" deep. It comes with 2 shelves that are 12.75" deep and 34.75" long. There are three small holes in the bottom of the top piece to attach it to the bottom piece. this is a beautiful piece of furniture(c. 1880/1890)that really Catches attention.A REAL ANTIQUE piece.that's got an unusual style to it.it's similar to what is called a"Welsh Dresser"It has storage on the bottom for linens and Silver and things you want to"put away"but the top is a wonderful place for displaying treasured plates. Platters, Etc. Great for a flow blue collector.or any plate collector! It has dovetailing that makes me think it's English.it's very fine.on the bottom drawers.the top smaller drawers have had the sides replaced I think.the joining is different. You can see what I mean in the pictures.The drawer bottoms as you can see in picture# 6 is hand planed.The pulls look Chippendale style.but may have been replaced. A gorgeous statement piece-one of those items I would keep but way to large scale for my dinning room. It is way to heavy and tall for me to place the top on the base piece. Weight around 200 pounds each piece. A creamy yellowish from the 50's era. Hand carved wood scrolls. Flowers that are highlighted with a gold wash. The top piece has six panels of glass, four in the front and one on each side. Three built in lights to highlight your china or displays. Four doors open and has the red crushed velvet backing along with two glass shelves. Measures depth of the sides 13" The top ornate crown lifts off for transport and that piece measures 10-3/8" at the tallest area. Large Antique China Cabinet Round Curved Bowed Glass Solid Oak Wood Claw Feet
This is an antique china cabinet curio closet with the rounded curved or bowed glass. It is one of the larger ones. I'm not an expert on antiques so I do not know how old. It has been in my family ever since I can remember. When I acquired it. We had it refinished and it has been in our dining room ever since. It has been well taken care of. We are now remodeling that room and we are now selling the china cabinet. The item does have to be carried down a few steps depending on which way is decided is best to go with it. My husband and son are more than happy to help with the loading from our house. Antique Mahogany China Cabinet, One Piece in Beautiful Condition and Very Heavy
Beautiful. Very heavy antique mahogany one-piece china cabinet is in terrific aesthetic and structural condition, with glass-fronted cabinet and 3 interior stemware shelves(with platter/ plate grooves) three(3) center lower drawers, as well as left and right lower door-fronted storage cabinets, all in excellent working order. The piece was likely made between 1900 and 1930/1940. The structural integrity of the piece is solid and the wood is in overall excellent condition, with minimal signs of wear or aging, with these two notes of exception: 1. On the upper left side of molding/trim, there is evidence of a split in the wood that was repaired(see photo- this was completed before I acquired the piece; I never even noticed it until taking the photos for this sale. The repair is sturdy and not evident to the normal eye) 2. Up for sale we have a fabulous vintage mid century china cabinet that belonged to our parents. Circa late 1950s/60s. Mirrors show off your glassware. Vintage Antique Oak Sideboard Buffet Cabinet China Hutch N1732 original finish
This is a very nice Antique that has been in the family for around 100 years. It measures 59 1/2 inches long X 21 1/2 inches deep X 39 1/2 inches high in the front and 61 inches high in the back. I do not know the manufacturer but it has the number N1732 stamped on the back. The oak wood has never been refinished and is all original. It is in excellent condition for its age with only a few repairable items: the small right side mirror has a small crack. One of the front wheels is bent and it has a small wood chip on the left side. May be picked up locally or freight arranged by the buyer after the sale is complete.
