Overall this is a beautiful piece that's going to look gorgeous in some lucky buyer's home. What a great find. This is a pretty neat mid-century room divider. Unlike most hutches. This two-piece divider is finished on both sides so it can sit in the middle of a room instead of against a wall. The top features a two door cabinet surrounded by cubby holes with three slender drawers along the bottom. The base features three center drawers with a cabinet on either side. But the best part of it by far is the little starbursts carved into the door fronts. A tag in the drawer reveals this was made by Broyhill for their Saga Collection. Broyhill is a quality furniture maker widely known for their great mid-century furniture. The Saga line is mid century modern style with wonderfully straight crisp clean lines and darker wood tones. bottom 54 3/4" Wide x 18 1/4" Depth. Brown Wood Kitchen China Cabinet Cabinet is in fantastic condition for its age. Its been in my grandmother's kitchen since the 1947 when she was married! Where it was before that or when exactly it was made I do not know. The wood is in fantastic condition. The bottom piece has some minor scratches and markings on the top section of the doors and drawer(from her kids and their toys) But the piece still looks great. There are no visible eyesores like scratches or chips on the top piece. There are a few tiny nicks and marks throughout the entire cabinet. But nothing that will detract from its overall showmanship. The glass is clean and still tight inside the top and doors. The only real problem is a stain inside the bottom drawer that looks like paint. I di my best to show everything in the photos. This is 1 absolutely fabulous vintage solid wood 1930s corner china hutch cupboard cabinet with a glass front. It was originally a built-in for a stately old home. The style could nicely fit in with lodge or cabin type furnishings or a more formal setting. The hardware on it hand wrought iron. The glass is individual panes of nice old glass. It has plenty of storage in it including cabinet door storage at the bottom. It measures approx 90" tall x 37" wide x 12" deep. The workmanship is excellent and of another time. This is a gorgeous flame mahogany breakfront/china cabinet made by the Hebert Furniture Company of Red Lion. Pennsylvania. The cabinet has its original cast brass hardware and consists of two pieces. The top of this piece has four doors fitted with bubble glass and mahogany lattice work. The top center sections have two adjustable wooden shelves each. The shelves are grooved for plate display. The center bottom section features a butler’s desk(with storage cubbies. One drawer and gold tooling on the leather insert) Below the desk are three drawers. Antique Custom Corner China Cabinet Solid Hardwood Glazed Door Ca. 1900
I am offering without reserve a very nice. Antique custom made, solid hardwood corner china cabinet/cupboard. This corner piece was taken from an old home in Eastland, Texas. The cabinet retains the original white paint on the exterior and blue paint on the interior. The upper portion of the cabinet has a single glazed door that swings to the right. The framework for the glass is arched and divided into 18 old wavy glass panes. The lower part of the cabinet has two blind doors. The wood pulls and brass hinges are original to the cupboard and all are in excellent condition. The top section and the lower section are fitted with stationery shelves. This cabinet was built in the old home and there is a notch about 6" from the bottom on each side that allowed the wide baseboard to join the cabinet. We purchased this about 25 years ago at an antique auction in southern California. More pictures coming! Back wall is mirrored and shelves are glass. The glass door pieces are solid glass with wood overlay. Skeleton key lock. Cabriole legs and a fan type crown on top. Measurements approximate in inches: 40 wide x 17 deep x 72 height. Condition: Minor wear. The lock is a sliding lock with key. It is a little difficult to catch on the top edge. It looks like it may have had a different lot at one time. One glass shelf has a corner broken off and is on the bottom. There are some scuffs on the lower edge where the doors open and close. Inspections are encouraged and welcome. Vintage dining room set in excellent condition. The chairs(6) still have the plastic protective covers on them and the table has a made-to-fit table pad. If you choose to take the plastic off. The upholstery is like new. Although shown in the pictures extended, the table actually gets quite small when the two leaves are removed.
