This antique china closet ... more/ buffet dates from the 1890s, and consists of a three-drawer double door base, fluted carved vases on the base doors, dainty detail carving across the crest of the shapely bevel glass mirror and a carved fruit basket crest on the very top. It has a couple of small holes above the bevel glass mirror on the right-hand side of the wood. I would guess it had a shelf there, but it doesn’t take away from the beauty of this antique sideboard. We used to get these all the time and they used to sell for thousands, but you can’t find them often anymore. Someone hung a mirror on the inside of the top section of the back which covered up the tiger sawn oak panel.

1962 BUFFET CRAMPON R13 PROFESSIONAL WOOD Bb CLARINET/ SILVER KEYS. Was only owned and used by one person. Produces a heavenly harmony that no other clarinet can. Known as the GOLDEN ERA clarinet. This is a family heirloom that hasn't been played since the original owner. I hate to sell it and to not see it in our home anymore. But it needs to be played again and no one in my family plays any instruments. Needs a musicians hands on it again. Was taken into Mike Paulson's Brass Masters. This B12 is a beautiful example of a German-made Buffet student clarinet. By looking at it you can tell that it has been well taken care of. The key plating is excellent and the corks and springs are in top condition. The body of the clarinet has very few minor scratches from normal use and no cracks. It was just serviced: taken apart and polished. All new Valentino pads were installed, then the instrument was lubricated and the keys aligned when it was re-assembled. Very nice Art Deco buffet/sideboard/server. Has definitely had a good life and the pictures do show the wear. However the piece is solid and looks lovely when I take the time to treat the wood and polish it. The dovetails on the drawers are great and all the hardware appears to be original. The drawer lining has very little adhesive and removes nicely leaving little trace of adhesive behind. I have seen a similar piece that had ball feet and a decorative piece at the back of the top and I can't tell if this piece ever had them. It has always looked like this while it has been in our family. Size: 38" high 19" deep 60" wide. Would not let this piece go. But we don't have the room for it any longer.

VINTAGE EVETTE CLARINET, BUFFET PARIS FRANCE F186G, HARD CASE
Up for auction we have a vintage Evette clarinet. Sponsored by Buffet, Paris, France. This is marked on all parts except the lower key section, it has F183 and then what looks like a G but might be a 6. It is hard to make out. There are two keys on this that need a spring in them and it needs one pad. Otherwise all the keys seem to work fine and all the pads look good. The mouth piece has also been worn, and has one small chip on the tip, so would probably have to be replaced. It also just needs to be cleaned, has some dust on it. I played clarinet several years ago, and this one seems to be a good piece if those few items were fixed. I will start this low to adjust for what it would cost to fix it. I can find a manufacture number in the pieces which is H 22058 and also stamped"made in France" This is plastic and not wood as far as I can tell. Here is a very nice vintage. 1970/71, Evette Schaeffer Buffet Crampon wooden clarinet made in France. The wood looks to be in great shape. I did not notice any cracks. The serial number(matching) is K23706. I was TOLD this was an"E 13" type or model clarinet as well. The finish is good with a little wear. I would recommend new pads, as I have no idea hold old the existing ones are. The mouthpiece is unmarked and does have wear. I'm including it, but you will probably want to get your own. Buffet Crampon R13 A & Bb *Vintage* Clarinets Excellent Condition
Buffet Vintage A and Bb R13 Clarinets These have been occasionally used and well-maintained over the years. Always stored in a climate-controlled room. Periodically exercised, corks greased, etc. All of the wood is in fine condition-there are no cracks. No splits, no dents, no extreme shrinkage apparent, no loosening of rings, or of posts, or other maladies. There are very tiny scratches here and there. Tenon corks fit snugly except for the lower-most of the Bb(that fits the bell) which should be replaced. Keys and springs work fine; smooth light action. Nothing sticking or slow to return anywhere. The keys on the Bb are nickel plated. And the A has nickel silver keys. When last played(~2 years ago) All pads on both sealed very well; possibly by now some very minor adjustment may be in order here or there. There is a small cork on one of ... morethe keys of the A in need of replacement. There is no mouthpiece included. The case is of modern manufacture. Made in Japan. The A Clarinet was made around 1957. And the Bb, somewhere between 1964-1966. The serial numbers match on the Bb joints; the serial number on the A is only on the lower joint. These are in good condition showing some light scuffing from normal use, no cracks or chips. I had to do a lot of research to figure out what model of Buffet I had here. When I took it out in the sun and used a magnifying glass I could make out it is a pre 1979 C~13"International" C" stands for"conservatory" or music school. This fine instrument was made in the Buffet shops in Paris. The pads are fine. And look like a pretty new rebuilding was done on it, It has all the pads and corks it should. I did not see any cracks, the instrument looks very well cared for. I could not read the serial numbers. The mouthpiece is a Vandoren R5V(They sell for almost $100. Not shown is the included case.
