Antique Duncan Phyfe dining table and buffet Reduced to sell !
Table dates to 1940's. Table is mahogany and in good condition. There are five side chairs and one arm chair included. All are in good condition. There is one 12 inch table leaf. The buffet is mahogany but has some scratches on top which would require refinishing. Measurements are Table 64 inches long by 42 inches wide. Leaf adds another 12 inches to the length. Top features lovely mahogany veneers and solid legs. Buffet is 21 inches deep. 61 inches long, and 36 inches high. Has original door handles.

Beautifully built and wonderfully decorated with burled walnut accents. It has a classic. Timeless style that is hard to find these days, a quality that just isn't found in modern furniture any more. I believe this set was made in the 1930's. As indicated by the brass tag used on the inside of the buffet drawer(pictured) The set is in very good condition! Very solid and kept well. There's a few spots of age on the buffet and some signs of use, but for a set that is 80+ years old, it's to be expected. This auction is for the clarinet you see pictured with original Buffet case and mouth piece marked Vandoren Paris B45. The serial number of the clarinet is 429637. The serial number is marked on the two main body pieces and match. The clarinet shows normal use with some scuffs, some of the keys have some of the shiny chrome coating flaking/chipping off, some parts are more heavily worn. I did notice a two small hairline cracks on the smaller neck portion that is marked R13 B 660. They are pretty much opposite from each other, On the inside of the neck portion i could not see the crack going through though. The cork on all the parts is in good shape and working. Each measure 17 ½” high by 10” wide each have a scalloped square glass base with 3 gorgeous scalloped bobeches and 18. 3 ½”crystals pendants. Each feature two light sockets on each side and a gorgeous glass pediment on their tops There is no damage to the lamps. No chips or cracks to any of the glass. The top pediments are in perfect shape which is really hard to find as they are so vulnerable to most anything, these were well cared for and purchased from the estate of a local prominent couple. Up for sale is a nice Buffet E10 model student clarinet. The E10 Model is the same model as the Buffet E11. But with a plastic bell to reduce weight and cost. The body of the clarinet is all wood. Silver plated keys are tarnished but still perfectly functional. The clarinet has been sitting in my closet for several years so a couple of the pads have deteriorated and fallen off. So they will need to be replaced. This is a fairly common maintenance procedure. Any music shop can do this for you for a very affordable price. The clarinet comes with two mouthpieces. It comes with the original but it also comes with an upgraded one. The upgrade is the Vandoren M13 Lyre mouthpiece with retails for $90. Leather ligature included. I find that leather ligatures tend to last longer and they give a slightly better sound than cheap metal ligatures. At auction is a Buffet R13 Bb clarinet with silver key plating in excellent condition. SN 459013. M ade in mid 1998. Has been checked by my local tech and it needs nothing. There is no plating wear on the keys and n o scratches or cracks. Some tarnish on the C/F RH pinkie key(picture#1) Pads and cork are excellent. Includes Vandoren B4 5 mouthpiec e. Ligature and silver Buffet cap plus new swab and cork grease. Original Case is in mint condition inside and out. I have played this instrument. And it plays well in all three registers. This Buffet is one of the best intermediate clarinets available today. This one was manufactured in France not Germany where the older ones were made. This one has been completely overhauled buy a professional instrument repairman. All Tenon and Key Corks have been replace as well as all Pads. It plays very well and very easy.
