c1920 Cherry Pennsylvania House? Table, chairs, Buffet, Server, China Cabinet
I will be listing 4 lots of furniture this week from a local estate. 3 are antique or vintage. 1 is modern. Furniture is big and heavy so"Pickup Only" If you are wealthy and want to pay someone to come pack it and ship, that would be fine, just no way for us to do it. If you live locally we may be able to arrange a time for the owner to meet you and show it to you, if convenient for all. The items are in Washington, Pennsylvania, about 20 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, 40 miles north of Morgantown WV, 30 miles east of wheeling WV, and about 150 miles from Columbus or Cleveland Ohio. The house has been slowly packed up and belongings removed. So things have been moved around to get items and belongings packed and out. That is why I have no photos showing all the pieces together. The table is in the garage right now and surrounded ... morewith stuff, so I could not get photos of the extensions in open position, but it has not been in there for long, so no worries about moisture warping and such. The table and all other items are solid cherry, and very hefty. We think they are Pennsylvania House brand but could be wrong, we looked for a long time and found no stickers or labels or markings. The table in its current configuration measures 64x42 and 30 inches tall. The extensions are 18' each so we think it would be 100 inches long when out. We think this is"Colonial" style because there is no glass in the doors of the china cabinet, for instance. The buffet desk is 64x19 and 42 tall. One knob is not in place. We found the knob in a drawer, seems to be missing a screw, so may need minor repair to reattach that knob. You can see that the little round pieces that make the front feet round came loose but are in a drawer and ready to be reglued. The china cabinet is lovely. 72" tall, 21 deep, 37 wide. One drawer pull knob is loose but present for reattachment. I am told the little piece is called a server. It measures 42x18 and 34" tall. There were originally 6 chairs but one was lost long ago. S

Buffet Festival A Clarinet - Mint Condition! Serviced by Tom Ridenour
You are bidding on a mint condition Buffet Festival. Key of A, clarinet used sparingly over its lifetime. The clarinet offered here is in superb condition. No visible wear on the keys, newly replaced pads and key work done by Tom Ridenour in Dallas, TX. The tuning and tone on this horn are second to none and, based on my experience playing Buffet clarinets, offers the tonal qualities and tuning characteristics closely resembling those of the Buffet Tosca with better pitch in the upper clarion register. I play a Walter Grabner mouthpiece and the clarinet, with a 66mm barrel, is always within 3 cents of pitch when played with a tuner. I have never played an A clarinet so well in tune! The wood on this clarinet is better than the majority of Buffet clarinets with which I've come in contact. The grain is tight. No large grain here with exceptional ... moreunstained color which you can see in several of the pictures. The stock clarinet bell, which will be included, along with a Backun bell, has gorgeous wood grain throughout. You can really see the wood grain of this horn in the upper joint register key picture included with this listing. The clarinet offers the older style of auxiliary Eb lever(small knob style instead of the newer long key) This key. While different actually stays better in adjustment than the newer models as the Eb mechanism for the auxiliary key is better placed and does not provide the wiggle room inherent in the new design. The clarinet work done by Tom Ridenour to this horn. While not extensive really makes it sing. Tom replaced the register key pad with a cord pad including a small rod to create more harmonic accuracy and to help with any scooping issues(where you receive a lower partial prior to the intended note, which has been an inherent design issue with many A clarinets) With Tom's work, this is not an issue. Tom also replaced all pads with new synthetic pads. These pads provide silent action, do not hold water, and are in many ways superior to both cork and leather pads that come on new

Buffet Crampon Evette beginner clarinet. Plastic, is in good shape and ready for a student musician. I bought this for my niece to play in beginning band, took it to the music store and they did a $65.00 tune up on it. They said it was in good shape, but in a few years it will need new pads and possible adjusting, depending on how you take care of it. My niece played it for one hour and decided she didn't want to play clarinet after all. It is ready to go and comes with two shiny new clarinet pencils and a new clarinet luggage tag. This is a very nice Clarinet and I hope a student will enjoy it and learn to play on it! The case latches very well. All of the pieces to the clarinet are stamped with the Buffet Crampon logo. Using the serial number. We dated the clarinet to 1969. The number B67 is stamped on one of the smaller pieces. The clarinet is in great condition however may need to be cleaned and probably will need new pads. The case is in nice condition with the original logo still on the front. Due to the wrap-around register key and the single post for the left hand pinky keys, and also because of the Carl Fischer stamp on the instrument. This is a nice Vintage Evette Clarinet made by Buffet Crampon in Paris France. The bell has Master Model on it. The mouthpiece has Evette Schaepffr and C stamped at the bottom. The 2 body pieces have Buffet Crampon# D20978 on them. I do believe that all the pieces are from the same and original clarinet. It also has the rounded black cornered case. It was reconditioned and gone over totally all the finish is in almost perfect shape no corrosion but it could use some light cleaning with a silver mitt. The logos are all readable with the original reed box and wax container. It has been studio keep for the last 20 years. i have researched it and as best as i can find it is from the early 70's it is a nice looking and playing instrument. Which was their top pro model alto saxophone from the 50's through the 70's. This is one of the harder-to-find early SDA's with darker nitrocellulose lacquer. As you can see, this lacquer is fairly fragile and turns smoky and darker over time. This horn had one little foot of the low C keycage pop off at some point. I'm looking for a replacement, but it's structurally fine with two screws holding that guard in the meantime. Besides that and the speckly lacquer wear, there's not a whole lot to mention. You have mostly original ... morepads intact and an original factory setup, so that you know that no one has messed this horn up before it is restored. I'm pricing it low so that you can easily afford to put in a repad and end up with a cool vintage pro alto that has enough of an authentic vintage look to give you some instant street cred. It plays nicely with a big. Warm French core to the tone. It is Selmer-like, but with a bigger sound overall and with lots of power. Black Enamel Roaster Oven Cooker Buffet Side Inserts Divider Warming Trays Nesco
I am not absolutely sure that these are roaster inserts. But they seem to fit in my larger Nesco roaster. The corners don't fit exactly and the edges rest on the edge of the internal pan though. My mom thought that is what they were for and they came with a bun warming plate that slides back and forth on top of the Nesco insert. Work good for keeping the hot dogs separate from the brats, the beans separate from the meat, etc. I picked these up years ago and no longer need, after many years of asking my in-laws for a buffet set for Christmas.
